✺⊰| Headcanon | JahSepp Written text
The JahSepp did form a highly fluid writing system as they developed their language from tactile to verbal and it became necessity as they advanced technologically to develop it to a writing system.
The nature and structure of their text is primarily of a glyph which is central with each character, often depicting a objects or vague abstract motions, somewhat similar to the glyph Chinese symbols follow, but the fluidic nature some with other symbols around the central, that add motion and context to the nature of the text and altering text colours to empathises areas of stress. One glyph may have up to three colours so one colour is not exclusive.
The reflection of the ‘color’ in text are translated tonally in verbal speech by three coves, neutral, high-to-low and low-to high
The full stops and gramma are also placed typically on the top right side of any glyph to show an end or break to a sentence. Any new sentence's are placed on a new line.
The structure is not read from left to right the whole way through, On any start or paragraph, it starts from right to left, when on the next line of the same sentence, it goes to left to right, until the next one, right to left. Like a Zig-Zag.
There is also the rotation of a glyph that also can add deeper complexities to the written text. This aspect was introduced after technology and the ability to rotate holographic text. Rotating the texts opened up changes to contexts and tenses.
__
After making first contacts, the JahSepp soon developed a separate and structured langue systems that would be accepted by alien translators than their core language, this was considered ‘formal’ variant in their eye as it wasn’t just them using it. This doesn’t stop them from switching when with their own people. Languages, such as Federation standard, was lost in the generations and only the jahSepp who were hatched on starfleet vessels know it well. Rest would need to be taught.

✺⊰| Headcanon || JahSepp External Evolution
After gaining their bodies, JahSepp had always began to find ways to evolve their bodies to their needs. Externally, this was hardly seen and thus, they looked relatively human and this didn’t change for a while.
Changed to the external host was slowly bred in after the new host design was greatly praised
Most obviously, Ear shape were made to curled points and with facial markings of blue and green around the eyes and down the face. The markings carried down the neck and followed the collar bone down the arms and ended near lines down the back of the hand to the middle finger.
Hidden by the hair, markings did go down the back of the skull and down their bone and along their legs to the top of their feet to their big toe. Eyes also turned from their host colours to different shades of blue and green.
Misha had a dark blue and Jayla went for a deep emerald green. The markings flickered with a glow when they move energy through their body.
Their hair colour also changed, varying to the taste of the JahSepp but was traditionally varying shades of blue ad green that they loved.
Jayla went for a dark teal, Misha opted for different shade of teal that was closer to blue.

✺⊰| Headcanon || JahSepp Internal Evolution
Internally, The JahSepp drastically changed from their first original forms. heavily human based. They evolved more
Generations, and design, optimise the JahSepp’s host form, removing redundant organs such as intestines, liver, kidneys and bladder and replacing the space with muscle, energy-cells and the JahSepp’s new internal host they they developed, settled into a fluid sac un the abdomen, btw, the hearts are bigger than a human heart (not as big as the diagram shows)
Rather than residing in the host brain, the JahSepp built a vermiform to house their spore-form, akin to a trill symbiont, This form became a secondary (but primary) brain that’s much easier to retain muscle-memory, memory and other biological into their next host with much bigger mass. The host brain in the skull is there as means of processing the senses and organizing them like their old bodies but the jahSepp still ‘lives; though this brain just as well. Placement doesn’t affect how they live in this host.
Their spore form would need to have this extra layer of protection of the secondary form once out of the protection of both brain and skull. The host body is still utterly dependant on the JahSepp and would not be ‘active’ before the jahsepp in implanted and would die after a removal. This would also enable them to survive even if their vermiform is removed from the host body or the body dies with them still inside; protected in this secondary host until retrieved.
After the form was agreed, many JahSepp with host bodies opted to recreate their hosts with this new design. Those already born from their bodies, the JahSepps not able to leave body, opted to have some genetic tinkering for their offspring to inherit those desired traits as they weren’t able to change their looks so simply. Some did have their externals changed via tattoos and other surgical procedures.
With exposure to the network’s oxygen rich environment, they also grew in size.

✺⊰| The KallaRar
In the Network, there are many species, JahSepp, Elachi, Tardigrades and SepPhri, almost all of these are either a plant-based life form or a function to the network. Elachi all but left the network at one point so few of them left in their natural habitat.
Tardigrades are a more common species that’s worthy of being a prey species to the huge KallaRar.
KallaRar are a hairless beast of muscle, teeth and claws that lives in small clusters within the network and have a keen sense of hearing and often use that to target prey. Six lims helps them travel fast, Their sight and smell aren’t as good, extremely photosensitive as a result and are often things prey use to escape the attention of the KallaRar. They’re there, in a way, to maintain the tardigrade and other animal species from their population from growing too large. They have huge areas of hunting grounds and territory which, is often next to fertile and needed land for other species to breed or birth on.
They evolved to the height of 6′9 and have a incredibly tough skin though their Prey species, the Tardigrade also evolved to help combat that and also having tougher nails and skin. Making it harder for the Kalla’Rar to attack them openly.
Often, to make an easy meal than going for a full grown, a Kalla’Rar may opten choose a baby Tardigrade as they’re easier to kill and their skin is easier to break through than an adults. Eggs better though battling a protected nest is often a 50/50 chance.
After the jahSepp took on humanoid form and began to birth the next generation, this did attracted the attention of the KallaRar. As a result, the jahSepp were quick to evolve their offspring to no longer cry out after birth and to stay quiet. Even in their humanoid form, JahSepp knew they’re no match for a KallaRar and would go what they could to avoid them. They may not be ‘harmonious’ as most species but they’re necessary nonetheless to maintain a life-cycle in the network.

✺⊰| Fractures of an extinct reality || Drabble piece | @astraldestiny
Jayla watched the celestial bubbles the holographic projection above their pink, central pool, the computer core of their ship, collecting the live feed from their sensors they had dropped that amplified their scanning range within the network.
“U-Sector 45, B-359.” Jayla started in the jahSepp;s native language, for their logs, her eyes lingering on the small bubble they had been monitoring for the last few days. “This micro universe is on the brink of collapse. Neighbouring universeing have been ciphering off energy and mass as after it’s initial split and development. now causing a slow decay and shrinkage, I estimate 6 minutes on our time before it dissipates entirely.” She moved around the bridge, flickering up more readings from her lead scientists monitor.
“Readings are showing the micro-nature of it was caused by a temporal disturbance a centuries prior from the immediate-side universe that caused the creation. This universe was destined to be short-lived. The universe’s convergence point, we anticipate to a last binary star system, we’ve also anticipated that the influx of energy of those two stars may cause a backwash that could breach the network’s barrier but the the network’s pathways are receding from the bubble so we should avoid picking up anything by the time it pops.” They could hope it would be a clean close; the energy would siphon off to the network and the other worlds as they typically would.
Minutes ticked by as the universe began to get smaller before the spurt of energy reached a sudden peak on their readings.
“Captain,” Jai spoke up from her monitor, “We’re picking up readings of a mycelium breach, the binary stars did as we thought, we’ve got two ships from that universe crossing the borders.”
Jayla exhaled. “Helm, locate ship exit into the network and pursue.”
“Yes, Captain.”
“I want to get a reading before our cousins start to break them down. Which ships are they?”
“One is a klingon vessel, or, at least half-ship. It looks like it may have been severed in half in it’s travel. No life signs, as expected. The other ship is Federation, USS....Shenzhou, I believe.” Fen responded this time, starting their scans of the wreckage.
Jayla’s head tilted at the familiar name; nor was she the only one. She knew a lot of that ship of Michael Burnham’s memories. It had been a close and personal ship for her. Her first ship, command... and she had lost it in the Klingon war. Battle at the binary stars, if she wasn’t mistaken from the woman’s memories. Jayla knew it well than the other jahSepp’s here from her time as posing as Captain Georgiou in the simulations for Michael’s adjustments if one ended up here.
“Shenzhou, Interesting.”
“I’m picking up life signs.”
Eyes turned to Dyla, including the captains. “Not possible, most life-form dies in the crossing.”
“It seems... energy from the stars seemed to help act as a shield in the breach. The ship is heavily damaged, life signs indicate it’s still functioning well but not a full complement of crew either.”
Jayla sucked on her teeth though soon enough, their ship reached the sites; the Klingon vessel was on the network floor, jahSepp already starting the decomposition of it’s metals, others had started to go for the Shenzhou that drifted at an angle, soursa facing more upwards and it’s naccells downwards, in the almost weightless motion but it was sinking. The network did have it’s own gravity, this high up though, it wasn’t as strong.
Letting it hit the floor, would be easy. let the rest of their kind consume the ship and everyone on it, was not the first time; it was an alien ship in their home, fragments that wasn’t supposed to be here when it’s native reality was gone but... the fact the crew had survived made her feel a little...discomforted at allowing them to eat the crew alive seemed wrong.
Perhaps since she had had her own offspring since getting this body, the idea of ethics had formed since then. Letting them die when...they had a chance to leave them elsewhere seemed more...humane.
“Warn off our kind with soft energy pulses and grapple the Shenzhou to us and secure to the Sha’lor’s underbelly and extend shielding.”
The air of confusion was not hard to miss; though there was compliance as a light shot was fire and lit the space around the Shenzhou with blue light; startling the JahSepp that had started at the hull. Using tractor beam, began to pull it closer then but from under their wings, long smooth metallic tentacle-like arms slinked out and wrapped around the sausar and down, physically tugging the ship as the arms continued, crossing down it’s middle and curled around each of the nascals.
“Shields extending now.” Jai spoke.
“Send a non-visual hail, warn that the network environment is unwelcoming to alien ships and we’re here to assist, we’re not a threat but we have answers to their questions to their current situation; to stand by for further information and should make repairs in the meantime.” Jayla spoke, hoping this was enough for now. Securing the ship like this would stop emergency pods being launched; they had no where to do and this close meant their shielding was much more effective...maybe they had to be specific of the dangers. “Also tell them that leaving our shielding range will result in the consumption of the ship and any shuttle that attempt to leave. We’ll be sending someone in to talk face-to face shortly.”
Who, was the question, right now, her own face would cause up issues; if this was the USS Shenzhou run by Georgiou, then this would add to the confusion. Was a jahSepp even of a good idea? their kind was going to try and eat their ship after all...
“Can you locate Michael Burnham on that ship?”
“No, captain. it’s possible she didn’t survive.”
Jayla hummed. “We can’t keep this ship, but we should give it a chance if we can deposit it to another universe willing to take it.”
“Is that wise, Captain?” Fen asked, his tone uncertain. “We’ve never done this before.”
“We’ve never had a living ship here before. If it was dead, I wouldn’t care less on natural progression.” Jayla pointed out, her eyes returning to the hologram of the scene around them; their ship, this human ship... the klingon one being slowly dissolved underneath.
“Michael Burnham may be a good figure head to establish a connection to this ship. They know her and she was one of them. U-Sector 40, B-320′s Michael is connected to the network, we can pull her mind back into the network and ask her to take them. Gan, see to making those preparations” They had gotten familiar with that particular one than the others they had helped once she was connected; this Michael was closer too. Though she knew that the human wouldn’t be pleased but they still had to ask. The Shenzhou’s damage would most likely would see to the demise of the surviving crew without aid on the other side.
“That universe is 32nd century.”
“I am aware, but it’s next best suited. Make a heading towards that sector, get Michael here as soon as we call”
_
“You can’t keep doing this!” Michael’s screeching of annoyance rang through the bridge before the human in question stormed straight towards her, pushing through her security, her hands lit up with low ebs of light in her mood. “I was in the middle of a briefing!”
Jayla sighed as the anger washed straight off her back, unconcerned. “It was with good reason.”
“Jayla, this is not okay. I don’t want to end up here without any sort of warning, I am a Captain, i can’t take a mind-trip and leave my crew handing, especially if I could be in a tight situation.”
the Jahsepp’s hand fluttered over the smooth pads; allowing the human to see what they had tucked into their ship on the projections. The frown staying on Michael’s face until she recognised what they had.
“...oh...”

✺⊰| Network Species, The SepPhri
A distant, cousin species of the JahSepp, The SepPhri play in the role of maintaining the mycelium barrier, while the JahSepp break down the foreign intruders. Their work is not seen by those who live either side of the network, thus miss their existence entirely. Their work is focused on ensuring the network isn’t infected from unhealthy network connections or from backwash of a collapsing universe or some other catastrophe that could happen to the network.
Once they sense either of those, they start to sipher off the network’s connections to the world. If an infection is too late, then they’re able to wither away the network pathway entirely, killing an entire network pathway and anything that didn’t leave the space in time, which is to no high cost in the grand scheme of things. This mercyless approach keeps the network healthy and keeps the worst out.
When a universe is collapsing, closing off the network from that stops the backwash, meaning matter of varying sized and states (eg, like radioactive debris) from being blasted into the network in huge waves from the widle wave of every that could breach the barrier.
The SepPhri are half the size of the JahSepp, and are blue, In mass, they’re near impssoble to see in the naked eye and can look like a blue cloud
JahSepp and SepPhri tend to not mix due to the nature of their roles though sometimes they annoy each other. If they’re too close or interfering with their roles.
Both Misha and Jayla had to go through the SepPhri to get to the other side. Misha doesn’t care much about them as much as they’re no longer a problem. Jayla also shares that opinion. SepPhri to them are boring.

✺⊰| Headcanon | Technologically advanced JahSepp
After the creation of the first JahSepp Ship, this enabled them to create ways to monitor the network so they built a network -based hub as well that connects to the Shal’lor, enabling them to monitor in their ‘live’ and liniar time of events happening in the network and most particularly, of other universes.
Such as, the creation of new universes, the destruction of others, each universe had it’s own place along the thin and infinet webs of the network and how they move and respond to each other. Some collide, some get absorbed by another bigger but it’s something the JahSepp have come to understand. They’re able to track certain universes of interest and label them to their quantum signature. They can observe them on monitors, like the image above if they’re looking at multi-verseal situations (such as creation of a new or a collision)
The JahSepp prefer to...observe than interfere. They’re also well aware that they cannot save a universe due to immense size vs their capabilities. They choose to keep emotion out of it and log everything effently.
They also use this to track any jahSepp that have also left the network, such as Misha and May.
This technology also allows them to see and track wormholes that can lead from one universe to another and even time-travel strands but following the latter, is out of their range. Time travel they’ve learned creates new network threads from the changes that have occured. and rather than getting mixed up in that, they just settle observe safety in the network.

✺⊰| Headcanon | JahSepp
Like most humanoid species, JahSepp in new humanoid forms do find things enjoyable to observe or touch, as they had the sensed to process everything and the brain responds to what appeals to them. Nature or natural-occurring things appeal most to the JahSepp.
Moss Balls are Misha’s favourite things. They absolutely love them. It triggers a cute-aggression response and overexcitement when faced with them. Green is their favourite colour, and combined with the spherical shapes and degree fuzziness of the moss and how many balls there are, this would easily lead to Misha getting into a tank with them all. If faced with a large (like a meter-sized one), they would hug it. They get that over excited with joy that they don’t understand what to do with it.
Jayla’s favourite object of enjoyment is different to Misha’s. Jayla’s drawn to more structure and bluer ranges of colours. So she’s attracted to more natural formed, crystal structures, like aqua aura quartz. This doesn’t give her overexcited but offers her a sense of relaxment if able to hold them. If wand-like, the straight structure is pleasant to feel and it’s durable in her hand. She’ll probably run a finger or thumb over in motions. She tends to keep one on her after her discovery on a planet of them in her trips
Here's a crappy sketch of Misha and a giant moss ball. Couldn't help myself lol.

Both Jayla and Misha’s appearance with them using their spectral visions. The irises turn a glowy-blue and there’s also slight glow around the skin of the eyes as the energy flow to stimulate the necessary ocular cones to see into such spectrums by will.

✺⊰| Headcanon || JahSepp
JahSepp with humanoid form do have normal colour vision, at first, after their forms, they began to expand and make alterations to the biology of their hosts to help evolve themselves. JahSepp could always sense energy and it’s flow, also quantum signatures so they incorporated this into their vision, though to stop side effects, (headaches/migraines, hypersensitivity of the oculare regions, nose bleeds, loss of colour vision ) the ‘spectral vision’ was something they could willingly activate in their eyes.
JahSepp with photosensitivity use it the least, to spare the side effects as they’re more vulnerable for such effects than those not photosensitive.

✺⊰| Headcanon | JEC Shal’lor Uniform
After the creation of the Jahsepp’s first ship, a uniform was devised as means of a work-formality when on duty. This was also inspired by the fact that it made them appear more professional and culturally prepared for first-contacts with outside species.
They took to a chain of command similar to Starfleets as it allowed them to properly assign the correct JahSepp with appropriate skills and command level to their job and responsibilities. Higher rank crew wearers paler clothes, though the style stays the same and fabrics tend to have a floral design to them.
Rank is shown by the amount of piercings/earrings that they have done to their right ear and what colour they are. Bronze are for the engineers, Silver for science and gold for tactical/command crew. The Captain wears Gold, lined with Silver to emphasise their rank.

✺⊰| Headcanon | The JahSepps
As stated in a previous HC post, 6 JahSepp picked out their humanoid forms, 4 with male bodies, two with female bodies and chose new names for their new sense of identity that came with being more individual. they all drew from Human DNA as that was the easiest to draw from and to reconstruct with their new matter.
1. Jai
Female body and used she/her pronouns after adapting to the unique form, Jai found a talent with drawing and has found an interest to explore with art, and has been the lead on creating beautiful tattoos on her people. She took and used the DNA strand of Lieutenant Nilsson after A USS discovery crashed and she and the rest of the crew were killed and decomposed into the network. She was the first to be interested in reproduction via their humanoid form
2. Fen
Male body, and used they/them pronouns for themselves. Fen is the main JahSepp that keeps a eye out to the other species to ensure their safety and has dabbled in music, they’re not fond of drama and almost considered returning to spore form before opting to remain multicellular after a visit from Jayla that encouraged them to protect their small colony. They used the DNA of Albert Kim, A starfleet officer in the CTP that had died with the rest of the crew after the ship crashed inside the network and his body was broken down by the JahSepp.
3. Dyla
Female body with the use of they/them pronouns, Dyla was the last to take humanoid form, though found an appreciation to it, they’re interested in exploring the network and species but not enough to leave the network, though they work closely with Jia, they took to creating their clothes to wear. Dyla opted to used the DNA sequence of Joanna Owosekun who had perished in a USS Discovery crash to build up their humanoid form.
4. Cal
Male body, used he/him pronouns. Cal was the first to take on a humanoid form after Jayla left and founded their first suitable area for their small colony that was close enough to the main influx of matter for them to contiue their job as JahSepps, and was close enough to an area that’d be their birthing grounds, despite how close it was to others. He enjoys the humanoid form and studies their plants for medicinal purposes after breaking a finger; he feels this would be important for their bodies to maintain good health and less discomfrot. this came in useful for dressing newly tattooed bodies with some of his creations to sooth and aid the healing process. He found an interest to reproduce with the humanoid form
Cal used the DNA of Captain Pike of a USS Discovery that crashed attempting to escape control, he and the rest of the crew died and his body was decomposed into the network.
5. Gan
Male Body, uses they/them Pronouns. Gan took on a humanoid form after Fen and began to experiment with building and crafting, being the lead JaHSepp in the development of their home rock. They used the DNA strands of the Deceased starfleet officer, Gen Rhys, to build their form after the human male was killed in the crash.
6. Terian.
Male Body, used he/him pronouns. Terian was second to last to create his body though was saddened by the loss of the two who didn’t like the humanoid form. He helps Fen in keeping their colony safe and oversees the protection of their birthing ground. He’s often used to help Gan a lot with their projects and often helps model stuff for Dyla.
He used the DNA of R.A Bryce, a deceased starfleet officer who perished in the destruction of the USS Discovery that crash landed.

✺⊰| Headcanon | JahSep, humanoid pregnancy and offspring
The JahSepp, as spores are capable of asexual reproduction for the sake of reproduction. this is very efficient for JahSepp as it allows them to reproduce in mass quantities, which in the network is a necessity. When a JahSepp decides to reproduce, they travel to a linear pocket of time to where the birthing grounds would be and implant themselves into the soil, from there they absorb energy from the network and start to become multicellular and into a plant with many bulbous tips
This allows them to keep from becoming too big in the environment and stops the risk of bursting too soon. The heads are filled with energy that act as a fluid that helps the production of offspring as they develop. Each pod can contain a few thousand at most. When full and the baby spores have matures, the plant ruptures and the JahSepp are released into the networks, hundreds at a time and they spread to start the cycle of their entire lives of breaking down matter.
After gaining humanoid form, the creation of humanoid offspring would no doubt be something they wouldn’t have thought much, but the creation of the body meant recreating the respective organs that are beneficial to the body’s health and so they’d have unintentionally designed the way of reproduction in that fashion (thus, creating a new sub-specises of JahSepp)
It’s not yet known if JahSepp are able to reproduce out of their species as humanoids.
Female bodied JahSepps are capable of producing egg cells, based on the instructions of the DNA to create such cells within their ovaries. Their uterus is smaller than a humans and due to the fact JahSepp’s humanoid form are not placental, the pregnancies would differ drastically from a humans. They’d still have periods, every 37 days, the lining would shed but instead of expelling out as most mammals would, the lining would break down at the cervix and be reabsorbed. the JahSepp would still experience physical discomfort as the shedding causes mild energy fluctuations throughout their abdomen.
For males bodies, they’d keep and retain the abilities of producing their own brand of spermatozoa that is viable for female bodied JahSepps for reproduction.
Pregnancies carried by female bodies JahSepps aren’t easy for a few things. As their uterus is drastically smaller (by at least half), JahSepp can’t carry offspring for full gestation. But as they’re not placental and had their own body born from a cocoon, their physiology found a way to adapt.
Conception between a male and female bodied JahSepp would be like a human’s way though the female could known shortly after conception that they’re expecting.
They’d only carry the fetus for approximately for 22 weeks where inside the womb, the baby is developing in it’s own separate cocoon that’s acting like a plasenta-- the baby itself would also not have a umbilical cord to a placenta but absorbs nutrients and energy for oxygen through it’s skin like it’s mother. Due to sharing, it’s unsafe for the mother to carry any longer without damage to the body. This cocoon is soft and pliable which is meant to be when still inside the womb so tocan be birthed easier
After 22 weeks, the female returns to the network to birth the cocoon into the network for the nest 28 weeks of gestation out of the uterus. The cocoon, introduced to a flood of energy and neutraince, would grow into the soft network soil quickly, the cocoon surface was harden up once implanted and the baby would thrive now without sharing energy from it’s mother.
The parents, mostly the mother would stay present to protect the developing baby from predator species. after 28 more weeks, the baby’s big enough and developed enough for birth so with the help of the mother, the cocoon splits and the new JahSepp is born though is just as helpless as a human baby at that. There are generally little complications in birth at this point and having no umbilical cord, there’s nothing they need to sever it from so after it’s birth, they’re cleaned up. Clothes are only optional for babies that leave the network due to the temperature differences
The mother, throutu the remainder of the gestation would still be going through biological changes due to the closeness to the cocoon which would have emitted pheromones for the body to develop means of supply further neturince from the body. Such as milk.
The breasts would expand and form the necessary glands to produce a milk suitable for the jahSepp Baby. Unlike Human milk, the milk created by the JahSepp is a creamy light blue with bioluminescence underglow that brightens when being fed from. This contains more concentrated forms of energy that the baby absorbs and there’s next to no waste produced in this fashion.
Due to the network home to predator species, the babies do not cry, not even at birth so it’s imperative for both parents, one or the other, to be there to see to the baby’s birth. the baby can emits it’s needs like any other JahSepp, biochemical reactions over the skin. it used this to also form an emotional attachment to it’s parents.
Like the parents, it has no belly button and can be born either physically male or female (as the original DNA had this, XX or XY variance), though JahSepp hold no concept of gender, the common pronouse of the babies would be they/them until the child is grown enough to find an attachment to an identity. Names tend to be neutral in sound
Unlike a human, their development is much faster so by the age of 5 years, the JahSepp would have the physical age of 10, where after that, the development starts to slow down.

Say hello to Jayla!
Like Misha, she’s a JahSepp from the mycelium network and built a humanoid form based of Philippa Georgiou’s DNA that was from the network, most likely a Terran Georgiou that died with the ship in a Discovery’s travel in the network that crashed; killing everyone onboard, including the newly ‘rescued’ Georgiou.
Her DNA became part of the network’s biome after the JahSepp broke down all matter, including the decaying corpses of the crew.
Jayla was well versed with human culture having worked with building a construct within the network to help aid the recovery of a human mind trapped in the network. She took on a role to maintain the mind’s perception of where they believed they were (USS Shenzhou). However, after the construct was demolished, Jayla moved on and continued their job.
Unfortunately, another JahSepp decided to leave the network. This cause a stir of conflict in the network as that seemed to unsettle the JahSepp with the thought of unbalancing their homes ecosystem if more choose to leave.
It was decided for Jayla to leave the network to ensure that the one left, Misha would understand the effect of leaving and to prevent too many leaving as they were still trying to repopulate from those JahSepp lost to the Hugh Culber that they tried to break down.
Jayla took a human form she was familiar, Georgiou and birth the form onto a USS Glenn, as ships with spore drives make the easiest transition out of the network. From there, she left and began to explore, looking for Misha.

✺⊰| jahSepp Evolution: Height
One of the unforeseen effects of evolution within the network, from generation to generation of humanoid-JahSepp was the adaption to the environment and it’s increased and bountiful atmosphere and greater-intake and usage of energy. This caused them to get bigger and bigger.
The soon average heights of the female-bodied JahSepps were to about 6′3 to 6′5 and the male-bodied JahSepps were about 6′11 to 7′1 and typically a foot difference to the hosted JahSepp and their original template. (see image above of comparative between the JahSepp and human)
This height change was subtle and with alien ships with shorter species, the JahSepp did develop some technology to shorten their height in the duration of wearing them, to make it easier to either blend in or use shorter doorways.
