"you're late," he teased, a faint smile that wouldn't have been visible for others. and fortunately for you, you're not 'others.'

you rolled your eyes, climbing into the passenger seat. "you didn't even tell me where we're going."

"you'll see," he replied simply, sliding into the driver's seat & starting the engine.

the streets were filled with colorful lights, cheers, kids, mostly, & giggling groups holding punks, or what some call, firework sticks. a distant firework exploding against the dark sky. inside the car, though, was a shelter, lowering the noise outside.

sae rested his hand sloppily on the wheel; the other arm was laid across the console, fingers stroking your thigh every now & then as he shifted gears.

"so, no party for you?" you asked, looking at him.

"not my thing," he said, shrugging, eyes fixed on the road. "i figured this would be better."

you couldn't argue with that.

after about twenty minutes, he pulled up to an empty park, the city stretched out below in a sea of lights. fireworks were already beginning to dot the sky, & you could now hear more cheers of festivities around you. sae got out first, walking around to open your door.

"knightly tonight, aren't we?" you teased, stepping out.

"don't get used to it," he replied, gesturing for you to follow him to the hood of the car.

you two leaned against it, side by side, cool metal against your backs. the view was breathtaking. if only you could focus on that instead of sae, who seemed more at ease than usual.

"it's quiet here," he said after a while, breaking the silence. "no fans, no cameras, no noise."

"except for me," you joked lightly.

he turned his head, his teal eyes locking onto yours. "you're not noise. you're the reason i'm here."

the weight of his words was warm, as if it didn't matter that it was winter. you didn't say anything, choosing instead to hold your silence while the distant booms of fireworks filled the silence between the both of you.

when the countdown began, sae's hand brushed against yours, his fingers intertwined with yours.

"do you have a resolution?" you asked softly, glancing at him as the city below shouted, "ten… nine… eight…"

he tilted his head just a little to the side. his eyes refocused on the skyline. "yeah," he said, squishing your hand gently. "spend more time with you."

your heart stuttered. you couldn't get out an answer before,

“three … two … one!”

exploded in fireworks, then dozens of colors filled the dark sky. sae turned towards you, lit up by sparks from the firework.

“happy new year," he said quietly, his voice cutting through the distant cheers. if it weren't for the two of you being so close, you wouldn't have catched onto what he said.

then, saying not a word more, he leaned in; his lips touched against yours. a slow & desired kiss, filled with unvoiced promises that cannot be put in words.

when he pulled back, his smirk was softer than usual, almost fond. "don't get used to this either."

you laughed, the warmth in your chest enough to chase away the cold. "too late, i already have."

I think in the Calabash episode, Yin and Jin never actually meant any harm to MK and, in truth, was trying tonlure Wukong out in Slow Boiled au. The episode where these two debut and where Macaque debut are 4 episodes apart, close enough to assume Macaque may be alive and probably reunited with his adopted mother and the twins. They know Wukong has taken on an heir, but nobody knows where Wukong is or has seen him yet. So what if Yin and Jin targeted MK to try to draw their brother's ex out to answer for, y'know, killing him?

Jin and Yin get MK in the Calabash, and only remember part-way through the episode that they need to get information out of him about the Monkey King.

Jin: "Is it true that the Monkey King is up the duff?" Yin: "And why he gotta do that to our big bruv so bad?!" MK, not understanding: "wut??" Jin: "Wait! Bruv, what if the King didn't tell em yet?" ☙ LOVE CYCLE [사랑주기] is the debut mini album by the south korean fictional five-member girl group, B'ANGELZ. released on february 12, 2022 much in line for the upcoming romantic holiday, the album consists of 3 tracks called cool with you, love dive, and the title track, midas touch and was promoted by the group for a total of 4 weeks. the album is supposed to feel like a fury of love called a "love cycle" which the creative director and leader of b'angelz, adora stated.

the album embodies many different aspects of love each of which shows elements of the stories in ancient greece storytelling such as goddesses, greed, and curiosity with love which is shown in each music video. each music video tells a story and highlights either two or one member with that story it's telling and has a somewhat, ethereal effect

LOVE DIVE prod & written by 아도라. storytelling of the courage of diving into love headfirst without any thought about it, love dive is a song which showcases a romance that's only built of curiosity and a rush of new emotions, love at first sight, much like the relationship between eros and psyche, a crush almost it seems but a little more. a love dive.

COOL WITH YOU prod & written by 아도라. a storytelling that shows a god, cupid the one who's in charge of making everyone fall in love, disagreeing with love in general though, meets someone who isn't like everyone, someone who's not made for others but made for cupid. it shows many similarities to the love story of eros and psyche, how eros loves her in the night but ultimately because eros is a god and has duties, he always leaves her in the day but, love foreshadows all as he decides that he'd give up being a god if it meant being with the only living being meant for him

♡ adora admits to an mc the original idea for this concept was brought up when adora and seori were watching greek myths on youtube and came across 'psyche and eros' story and fell in love with the idea .

♡ "this would make a really cool concept..." seori would tell adora, letting off light bulbs in her head.

♡ the entire idea was to make something that'd be different from the industry's norms, a love song that talked more realism than normal idol love songs.

♡ adora was nervous but determined with this new approach so she gave it her all as she and seori created the title track "midas touch"

♡ on their first day to promote their album, all of the girls were quite nervous as they were all, except mina quite rookies to the whole idol image.

♡ their title track received both good and bad commentary, bad being that the song was very "vixen-like" to the people who didn't understand the meaning

♡ but even to those lots of the good praise was for the song's overall vibes as it reminded those who weren't big fans of kpop of those 2000s artists, allowing the group to get an international following

wooyoung looked up from his phone just in time to catch you running around the large, luxurious penthouse. at first he just opts to watch you as you look for something but after several minutes, wooyoung finally decides to get up.

“my pretty sweet, what on earth are you searching for?” wooyoung ask as he takes you into his arms and does a quick spin in order to get you to stop from running.

“i can’t… i can’t find my bag and i have an evaluation later with yunho and it has everything in it,” you say with worry in your eyes. “i need to do well for that evaluation, i can’t disappoint him again,” you confess and wooyoung feels his heart tighten at the thought of you thinking you could disappear yunho.

“are you sure this is about a missing bag? and not about something else? is anyone bothering you? do you need to talk to joong or hwa?”

“no!” your sudden exclamation surprises him for a moment, “n-no one is bothering me, i just misplaced my bag and need to find it.”

“can you not use another bag?” you shake your head, looking away from wooyoung’s eyes.

“my mom bought me that bag for when i became a trainee three years ago. i need to find it,” you tell him and wooyoung immediately understood why the bag was so important because his mom did the same thing for him.

you nod your head before making your way to seonghwa’s room to change your clothes. wooyoung immediately began to search for your bag around the penthouse.

a few minutes go by and wooyoung feels like he will never find your bag. right when he was about to go tell you, the front door opens with san walking in. wooyoung almost immediately notices the bag hanging off his shoulder.

“oh! y/n’s bag! where did you find it?” wooyoung asks surprised that san had it.

“she left it in my car when i brought us home the other night. i seen it earlier and remembered she had that evaluation with yunho today and would need it,” san explains as he hands the bag over to wooyoung.

“left it in your car? she doesn’t usually do that though,” wooyoung said with furrowed eyebrows, knowing that you always keep your bags next you so you can easily grab them.

“ah, well… that little vixen distracted me on the drive home and so i made her help me. guess the bag just ended up in the backseat because of that,” he says with a laugh and wooyoung immediately catches onto what his lover was implying.

Ace Attorney: IF (... Part 4)

Half a year after the Second KG-8 incident, the ripples of change keep happening. Because Miles changed his career, he never faces off against Mia Fey in her first trial. If anything, they're rookie rivals in separate defense agencies who hardly know each other exist. Mia still takes on the case of Terry Fawles, and instead goes up against Franziska Von Karma who has since already made her debut in Germany.

Passions are…high. Mia still yearns to prove Terry's innocence, and Franziska still burns from Miles turning his back on the Von Karma's. She's determined to run the trial perfectly and crush all defense attorneys, but she has no way of knowing her sympathy for Dahlia will bring about great anguish for everyone involved. Herself included. She covers up for Dahlia much like Miles did but with a much more personal stake in it - there's no way Dahlia would murder her older sister, right? That's what Franziska believes.

But… Mia stubbornly fights to reveal everything. Even with Franziska struggling at every turn to end the trial prematurely. Eventually they reach the point of Dahlia beginning to show her true colors, and Terry committing suicide by drinking the poison. Franziska wishes she could take the "win" and be happy… But she just can't. Seeing Mia Fey so distraught, that Diego Armando so angry, the deceptive witness that left the trial with an angelic smile on her face… Franziska feels vile after that whole affair. She throws herself into several cases after to wash out the stench of failure, but she can't get that accursed case out of her mind.

Mia goes on her hiatus as a lawyer… Franziska does not. Despite having her hands full with other cases, the young prodigy manages to dig into Dahlia Hawthorne's history, what little she can. And it's never enough. Never anything conclusive that Franziska can book her for. And it stings that the vixen refuses to meet with her for questioning… Like she KNOWS Franziska is onto her.

So when that coffee-drinking aficionado wrangles an interview out of Hawthorne in the end of August 2013? Franziska doesn't waste the opportunity to butt in. Much to Diego's frustration at the little princess Von Karma inviting herself to this chat. Yet because Franziska was present, because she refused to trust Dahlia any further, the redhead doesn't even try poisoning Diego, there's just too much risk she'll be caught.

… Doesn't stop Dahlia from dumping her necklace onto Phoenix after her interview goes nowhere. Best to not be holding onto that while lawyers are so suspicious of her and they could arrange for a more intensive questioning. She'll just get the necklace back from that idiot later.

Diego and Franziska part on bitter terms; they still don't like each other much - Diego because he's never liked the girl's father and his methods, and Franziska because she still had disdain for defense attorneys. They agree to share information on Dahlia if they find anything on either end, but that's about it. Franziska lingers in the courthouse, and that's how she encounters Phoenix Wright as well. She doesn't think much of him, he's just an art student with a minor in law; with Miles having accepted his calls in the past half year, he's not so sure if he should pursue law any more. Doesn't really know what he should do. Franziska hears his ramblings about attorneys and strictly advises him to rethink his life choices if he REALLY wants to make a difference in the legal profession. Not that Phoenix pays her much mind, badmouthing Miles like that… But Phoenix did think she was cute in her own weird way.

Another half a year goes by, and Diego has had zero luck in getting Mia to recover from her trauma. Mia just refuses to set foot in another courtroom… Diego does keep trying to perk her back up, it's just frustrating that nothing's working.

… Until Mia hears about Phoenix getting arrested for the murder of Doug Swallow. Hears that Dahlia Hawthorne's a witness. At that point, Mia and Franziska are both insistent on taking that trial by the horns. Franziska still has to present why the police think Phoenix did it, but as the trial drags on it becomes apparent she's just begging to summon Dahlia to the stand, much to Mia's bafflement. It gets further confusing as Franziska gets increasingly upset over Phoenix's delusional defenses of Dahlia, seeing the young prosecutor remember Phoenix and get angry over how Dahlia fenced off a piece of evidence on him… Before Phoenix can even try swallowing that necklace, Franziska whips the hell outta him and manages to salvage the evidence, which has the poison still inside, lovingly preserved.

Mia berates Franziska for brutalizing her client, but Phoenix is forced to face facts. That his Dollie is a murderer… That she used him and tried framing him. He confesses details that he witnessed, and Franziska and Mia both get the max use out of that. Mia managing to deduce Dahlia stole Phoenix's medicine and poisoned it.

Dahlia admits defeat, and Phoenix's innocence is established. Mia's floored that Franziska sought to convict her own witness, apparently from the get-go, while Diego isn't as surprised. He is still weirded out a Von Karma was satisfied with anything except a guilty verdict, but he knew that the fiery prosecutor princess wanted to convict that witch Hawthorne. If Hawthorne was in the defendant's chair... Well. Mia would've been sitting in the gallery, and not defending her. But there would've been no mercy from Franziska... none whatsoever.

Phoenix is grateful for what Mia and Diego did for him, but he's bummed out about Dahlia's betrayal. And considering his lawyers are kinda an item, it kinda rubs the salt in some more... But Phoenix is grateful. Truly. He's happy there's good lawyers like them, as well as Miles, out there. That said, Phoenix is left stumped about his future... Art was really more of a hobby as he sat and waited, debating how to reconnect with Miles... Larry had more of a passion for art than he did, and Phoenix wanted to be more useful. To have a more fulfilling life?

... So why not become a prosecutor like that whip-happy girl? Now, hear him out! If he was a prosecutor, he could help prevent false arrests like his own. Maybe. Franziska sure seemed satisfied with the verdict! And if she could become a prosecutor so young, Phoenix had no doubt that he could get there someday!

While Franziska was baffled with Phoenix approaching her after the trial, nonetheless receiving his thanks for doing her job as a Von Karma should... The teenager was not so thrilled that Phoenix seemed to have the wrong idea of what prosecutors do. Making them sound like childish TV anime heroes or whatever shlop rolling around in his head. (人◕ω◕) Finding Phoenix innocent was not a common occurrence. In fact, Franziska is rather vexed she is not more furious with her loss.

... But then she chalked up her good mood to finally nailing that vixen Hawthorne. All that remained was prosecuting the no-good witch with her own two perfect hands. Escaping justice for a year is unacceptable, and Franziska will ensure Hawthorne gets her due punishment. (人◕ω◕)*** Franziska Von Karma did not lose this trial, Phoenix Wright was guilty of nothing but being a big, dumb idiot for falling for that demon. So Franziska. Did. Not. Lose. The real one on trial was Hawthorne. Nothing more, nothing less. (人◕ω◕)***

Doesn't take long for Franziska to tire of Phoenix's company and dismisses him. (人◕ω◕) He's a clown and a fool, and Franziska sincerely hopes that if Phoenix does pursue the prosecutor's path that he gets a proper understanding of their duties to find all criminals guilty. And naturally a perfect understanding of the Law. (人◕ω◕)

... (人◕ω◕);;; Yeahhh... Papa gave her an earful about staining her perfect win record with this Wright trial fiasco... Franziska pointed out that she convicted Hawthorne to perfection, but that didn't really matter to Manfred. (人◕ω◕) The Von Karma's reputation was slipping through their fingers, and Franziska had the audacity to let one of her defendants get found not-guilty... Really. Manfred promised that if Franziska slipped up like that again, she would be disowned like Edgeworth. Von Karma's must be Perfect, and it was galling to let his daughter have even one more chance when he should outright fire her on the spot.

Alas... His office was in a sorry state as it was. Between that turncoat Edgeworth getting the boot, Faraday stuck on that smuggling ring, that brazen greenhorn Marshall and his rambunctious behavior, that incompetent Payne... Manfred needed every capable prosecutor on deck, even if Franziska was frankly an embarrassment to the Von Karma name.

Franziska took the stern rebuke pretty badly... Papa never took failure well, but to have that outrage aimed at her was... It was rather eye-opening. ... The thing is, though. Reflecting on it? What had she truly done wrong in this instance? If Phoenix Wright was declared Guilty, that witch Hawthorne wouldn't be where she belonged. Franziska might just be too petty to think with a clear head, but Dahlia Hawthorne was truly Guilty in every sense of the word. So why was that fiendish woman not arrested initially? If all defendants were to be found Guilty under the Von Karma name, did that mean forsaking everything else that Franziska knew and believed? Was she simply to cast aside her own morals and become a machine dedicated to achieving Guilty verdicts in her trials? No matter the cost?

Franziska still refused to believe that her father stooped to such a subhuman level, himself. He was just... having a hard day. Yes. (人◕ω◕) Thinking deeper on it, if a Von Karma is Perfect in every way, they don't need to stoop to any cost to win trials. The true stain on her record would be if she resorted to forged evidence, or tampered with testimonies. Because actions like that would make her Guilty, and the Law would catch up to her eventually. Yes, this must be what Papa wanted her to take away from this. He was simply too stressed to explain any of this rationally. (人◕ω◕)

In the short term, certainly, she took a "loss" in court that day. But she would neutralize it with Hawthorne's Guilty verdict because she was the true defendant (damn sister killer!!!). Wright was simply a misplaced witness. Nothing more. (人◕ω◕) Despite Papa's complaints, Franziska believed there was no shame to be had here. It was impossible to convict Phoenix Wright, much like Miles could not convict that scruffy detective back then. (人◕ω◕) ... Miles' betrayal still stung, but she could not fault him for failing to gun after Scruffy when the buffoon was not the true criminal. (人◕ω◕) It all evens out~

Much to Franziska's...frustration? (人◕ω◕);;; Phoenix kept bothering her for the next three years. All throughout law school, he kept asking her for pointers, or sometimes if certain historical trials actually happened. It got so bad that Franziska set time out of her very busy schedule to drill him in the most basic fundamentals of law and prosecuting. (人◕ω◕);;; It wasn't just his head knowledge, Phoenix's whole... method of doing things was unbecoming of an attorney. The man's damn go-to was to bluff his way out...!!! (人◕ω◕);;;;;;;;;;

Needless to say, three years went by very quickly and very painfully for Franziska. (人◕ω◕);;; Getting Phoenix in halfway decent shape was a herculean task on its own. Once he graduated from law school, Franziska wanted very little to do with the big blue idiot anymore... (人◕ω◕)

Buuut Phoenix did get assigned to Papa's office... And Manfred took one look at the man's profile and dumped him on Franziska's lap to deal with. Because it was her fault for sparing this man's wretched life. (人◕ω◕) Phoenix's debut, getting him acquainted with the prosecutor's office, it all fell on Franziska to get him settled. (人◕ω◕);;

Let's just say there was a full course meal of whipping throughout those early days. (人◕ω◕);;;

To be fair to Phoenix, however. He did take to Frannie's lessons and shaped up as an attorney. Not to say the man was a master strategist like Franziska or that black sheep Edgeworth, but Franziska was proud of how far he'd come from just spewing out the first things that came to mind. Phoenix reviewed the evidence well beforehand and tried using that simple brain of his. (人◕ω◕) He was a far cry from Papa's impossible standards, and even Franziska's own standards were not completely met... But Phoenix could carry himself just fine and work with the police as was expected of him.

Now, if Phoenix would only take Gumshoe off of her hands, that would be the most id........... (人◕ω◕);;;;;; Scratch that. No. Franziska vetoes that thought on first contact. All of Phoenix's progress would vanish if that idiot Scruffy was paired with him... No. No other prosecutor could keep Scruffy on a leash and do his damn job than her. The fact Phoenix was assigned that incorrigible Calisto Yew woman as a partner (who recently got promoted to detective position)... Probably Detective Badd's handiwork... Franziska was far from happy with the arrangement, but it would have to do. (人◕ω◕)

Phoenix tried to get that case against that "Larry Butz" fellow, something about how he knew they had the wrong guy, and Franziska kept him the hell out of that because she just knew that wouldn't fly with Papa... (人◕ω◕);;; Not to mention conflict of interest and all that. Even if Mia Fey would be a softball of a first opponent to have in court, Franziska was not having it.

... When Phoenix's debut wound up with him facing off against Miles, Franziska had a five-minute-long swear rant in German. (人◕ω◕)

Eve Meyer was born Evelyn Eugene Turner on December 13, 1928 in Griffin, Georgia. Eve was a popular high profile pin-up model throughout the 50s who was the Playmate of the Month in the June, 1955 issue of "Playboy." Other men's magazines Meyer did pictorials for and/or graced the covers of are "Bold," "Scamp," "Caper," and "Modern Man." She often worked as a model for glamor photographer and independent adult filmmaker Russ Meyer. Eve was married to Meyer from 1952 to 1969. She made her film debut with an uncredited bit part in the 1955 feature "Artists and Models." Eve played the titular role in the Meyer movie "Eve and the Handyman." Moreover, she worked as an associate producer on such Meyer films as "Lorna," "Mudhoney," "Motor Psycho," "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!," "Vixen!," "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls," and "The Seven Minutes." Eve Meyer was a successful businesswoman when her life was tragically cut short at age 48 in the Tenerlife airplane disaster in the Canary Islands on March 27, 1977.
