Ah yes, also,
Today is when I have set another tamaranean festivity to be!
It is Vongdik, the celebration of song and singing; and it is celebrated by singing the whole day instead of talking.
About my muses’ participations in it: Starfire definitely takes part in this, and would basically sing through the whole day, even on missions and all. Blackfire doesn’t care about it, Wildfire might do a bit of it once Star reminded him of the festivity but he wouldn’t do it all day, and rather not when around people much. Galfore definitely participates the whole day through, but since he’s on Tamaran that’s probably a given. Moonshot would participate, but not openly or out to others - basically, this means that he will sing the whole day through, but avoid it by just avoiding any contacts; and Starlight is probably not really aware of the festivity to be today - and if she would, she would do it a little bit here and there, but not like the whole day through. Mar’i would probably absolutely participate.
I have written some opens for the festivity last year - not on all of my muses, obviously, but at least on 4 of the 5 that would participate! I will reblog those opens later, you're welcome to reply to them if you're interested. If you want to do something with it outside of these opens, feel free to approach me for it, but it's not really a thing where I can send out asks for or the likes, so the opens are probably all that I will be doing for it.
The tag for this festivity is #Live in the lyric; today it is Vongdik!

[[ Before I start: This is based on my headcanons. It is in no way founded with any kind of canon or something, and the date is also (mostly randomly) chosen by me. ]]
Today, on the 11th of July, is when the tamaranean festival named Firrtin’z takes place!
What is Firrtin’z, you ask? It is the tamaranean festival of a competitive thinking. Competing against someone, be it in a friendly way or a ‘serious’ one, can raise the spirits and brighten the mood, no matter if one is on the winning side or not. Which is why this celebration exists. Not that this is the only day to compete if one wishes to do so more often, but this celebration is held so that at least once every now and then (or every year, to be more precise), the aforementioned advantages are actually given to everyone. Of course, there are people that do not celebrate it, but on Tamaran it is a big event and there is no real way to ‘escape’ the competing unless you lock yourself up all on your own for the day.
How is it celebrated? The person celebrating it will do all they can to challenge anyone they meet during the day to a competition. Which would include a continuous asking for the other to agree, a following of them through wherever they need to go during the day, basically anything that’s not causing the other person harm is alright to pursue in order to actually get to competing with them. The matter of the competition is not set, it can be anything where one can be ‘better’ than the other, and it will usually be discussed with the other what kind of competition will be done.
What does this mean for your blog? I don't plan on approaching anyone for the festivity. I will most likely reblog some opens for the festivity that I already posted some other time, at least on those of my tamaraneans that would/will openly celebrate it. Please also see this as an open invitation to have your muse come to my askbox (or tag me in a post if you prefer) and show the wish to celebrate Firrtin’z with my tamaraneans (or if your muse doesn’t know about the festivity yet but you want them to participate, simply happen to come by today; at least some of my tamaraneans will be most happy to explain about the celebration then). I might be a bit more picky in answering things though, given my recent muse or motivation struggles.
I’d prefer it if there is a sort-of logical explanation for why your character knows of the tamaranean festival. - If they have any kind of relationship with Starfire (maybe except enemies), it makes sense that she could have explained, or at least mentioned, the festivity and its date in some talk they had “off-screen” (or even in a RP). - Blackfire would never talk much about her home planet or the festivals there though, and neither is she actually into celebrating them, so it’s highly unlikely you would learn about it from her (and you’d need to strongly convince her if you want to celebrate it with her), and - Wildfire has been told of the date, but he doesn’t really enjoy the concept of competing, nor does he remember too much of the festival from home, so the only reason for him participating (after hearing stories about it from Starfire) is that he feels obliged to honor the traditions of his home. - Galfore lives on Tamaran, so obviously he is participating, and he enjoys it a lot too; - Moonshot very much honors all tamaranean traditions, so he will be very set on celebrating this with anyone he comes across during the day, whereas - Starlight isn’t really aware that it is today. If someone would let her know though, she might participate, though only if it’s actually something she would be interested in outside of the celebration too; she doesn’t really value the tamaranean festivities much. - Mar'i would certainly be delighted to participate.
There are of course other ways your muses could have learned about it, and I’m open to those. But if e.g. an ‘ordinary human’ with no previous contact to anything alien related whatsoever suddenly knows of Firrtin’z I just don’t think I could enjoy it that much.
Oh, and one more thing! This celebration also means that I will try to focus on that, if I do get anything about it. I will see to get at least some other replies done too, but my focus on such a day will be on asks/replies/threads about the “holiday” that currently is. And for the next week or so, Firrtin’z-related threads will be handled prioritized over others.
I think that’s all I need to explain; if there are any questions, always feel free to come into my inbox and ask me! All the threads or (IC-)posts related to Firrtin’z will be tagged with: #Let’s see who wins; when celebrating Firrtin’z!

[[Before I start, this is based on my headcanons, and in no way official stuff or anything.]]
Today, the 14th of October, is what the tamaraneans call Trie’hr!
What is Trie’hr, you ask? It is a time that the tamaraneans take for honoring the “fallen ones” (which means anyone that died, regardless of if in battle or not). Or grieving, commemorating, however you might want to call it.
How is it celebrated? During this day, the whole atmosphere of Tamaran changes. The otherwise active, and energy-filled population spends the day a lot calmer, rarely actually flying or using their energy. They wear grey instead of their usual purple, and many also don’t wear their usual armor. The people carry around gems or rocks - depending on what they have as remains of their lost ones - as symbols for those they have lost. Sometimes, these symbols are attached to the grey clothing, and sometimes they are carried around in baskets or bags or similar. Of course, it is a different amount for everyone, and some may have a very big amount of stones/gems to carry around with them - if it becomes too much to physically carry, they might stay home on the whole day instead. The tamaranean participating will still try to do their normal activities, despite their focus being more on thoughts about those they have lost. This day of letting out all the feelings about their losses is a way to help to make the sorrow or sadness lighter during the rest of the time.
What does this mean for your blog? Well, if we’re mutuals (if you’re reading this on my sideblogs then please remember that I follow back from @starfirechan and not from here), I understand that as permission to maybe have my tamaranean come into your inbox to talk about the day with you. It’s unlikely to happen though, as Trie’hr isn’t exactly an occasion that gives them a wish to interact with someone. - If this ever bothers you but you still wish to keep following me, please tell me that you do not like this and I will make a note to keep you out of this. Please also see this as an open invitation to have your muse come to my askbox (or tag me in a post if you prefer) and show interest in what’s going on with my tamaraneans or to join in in the “celebration” if your muse might know of it. I will most likely also reblog open starters that I did for a previous iteration of this festivity on some of my muses, and you’re welcome to answer to that.
I’d prefer it if there is a sort-of logical explanation for why your character knows of the tamaranean festival. As for my muses participating: - Starfire has honored Trie’hr in the previous years too, and she will do so today as well. The team is aware, and tries to keep battles away from her on this day as she wouldn’t be good at them in this state. - Blackfire doesn’t really care much for her planet’s festivities, and she also tends to not be aware of dates much, not to mention that something like grieving is definitely not her thing anyway, so she won’t be participating. (Your muse is free to ask her about it if they learned through someone else, though) - Wildfire has not been aware of the occasion during his time on Tamaran, or maybe he just doesn’t remember it anymore. But Starfire has told him about it last time, and he tries to honor the festivity at least in some way. So far not by carrying gems or stones along with him (he doesn’t really like the idea of counting the amount he’d ‘need’ yet), but he’ll at least wear the right color of clothing. - Galfore definitely participates, though he is on Tamaran so the average earthen-bound muse will likely not know, or learn through him about the festivity. - Moonshot definitely participates, in a way. He doesn’t have any gems or stones of those he remembers, but he will wear something grey and, since he lacks objects to carry around, simply won’t be moving much/at all throughout the whole day. - Starlight isn’t aware of any tamaranean festivity, so she doesn’t participate. If she would know of it being the day though, she very much would join in despite usually not being interested in doing tamaranean celebrations while on earth. Showing grief, remembering what she lost, is important enough to still do it, even when on another planet.
There are probably multiple ways your muses could have learned about it, and I’m open to those. But if e.g. an ‘ordinary human’ with no previous contact to anything alien related whatsoever suddenly knows of Trie’hr I just don’t think I could enjoy it that much.
Oh, and one more thing! This occasion also means that I will put a certain priority on it, should any threads come from it. I will see to get at least some other replies done too, but I will try to focus things that relate to it. And for the next week or so, Trie’hr-related threads (along with Halloween threads, if some of those come) will be handled prioritized over others.
I think that’s all I need to explain; if there are any questions, always feel free to come into my inbox and ask me! All the threads or (IC-)posts related to Trie’hr will be tagged with: #The day of remembrance; Trie’hr is here

“Say….Starfire?“ Claire chirps, curiosity at heart, “I know you mentioned…that you celebrate a holiday….for friendships…but is there one you celebrate…for lovers, like Valentines Day does…here?”
[[Thank you for the ask!]]
Starfire looks over when Claire speaks up, and quickly shook her head once she heard the question. "On Tamaran, we do not see love as that different from friendship. A celebration of lovers would also be done on Blorthog - for their love will always include a friendship, and carry the same feelings of affection, although perhaps stronger or in a slightly different way." She did understand the differences, but really, the tamaranean ways of celebrating this made a lot of sense to her.

[[ Before I start: This is based on my headcanons. It is in no way founded with any kind of canon or something, and the date is also (mostly randomly) chosen by me. ]]
Today, on the 22rd of September, is when the tamaranean festival named Achg’wi takes place!
What is Achg’wi, you ask? Achg’wi is the tamaranean celebration of flight! It is done to share the joy of flight, and on Tamaran there are many choreographed flights, or fights in the air, taking place during the festivity.
How is it celebrated? Since Earth isn’t Tamaran, there aren’t shows as are on Tamaran, but a tamaranean on Earth can still participate in the same way any tamaranean at least does. Basically, they fly the whole day. It’s of course impossible if the tamaranean is feeling down too much, and usually if that’s the case they more or less completely isolate themselves during the day. And there’s also always the option for the tamaranean to take any non-flyers up into the air with them, to share the joy of flight some more. This option doesn’t really work on Tamaran much, outside of the few born without the ability of flight or the occasional visitor (though merchants and similar try to avoid coming there on a day of festivity), but on Earth it can very much happen a lot.
What does this mean for your blog? I don’t think I’ll be approaching anyone for it. I will probably write or reblog some opens for the festivity though, for at least a few of my tamaraneans - those that participate, that means.
The usual thing stands: Please have a at least somewhat logical explanation how your muse could have learned about the celebration if you want to go in with your muse already knowing of it (Starfire might have told her friends, Wildfire wouldn’t talk too much about it, Galfore might have told about it too but the others most likely wouldn’t mention it at all). There are of course many ways your muses could have learned about it, and I’m open to those. But if e.g. an ‘ordinary human’ with no previous contact to anything alien related whatsoever suddenly knows all of Achg’wi I just don’t think I could enjoy it that much.
As for who of my muses participate how: - Starfire definitely does her very best to participate as well as possible. She will be flying the whole day, even instead of sitting on a couch or at a table, she would hover in position. And she doesn’t much hesitate to just grab someone and take them with her into the air, either, though through more time spent on Earth she has learned, mostly, to ask before doing that. - Blackfire doesn’t care. She might (big might) be aware that it’s the date where it is, but she doesn’t care enough to really do something with it. She might, however, use it to her advantage or entertainment if she comes across any situation where just suddenly lifting the other might help her - a hero trying to stop her, a situation where someone intends to… do ‘more’ with her and she feels like doing it in the air instead, things like that. - Wildfire too will try to participate. He’ll have learned of the date from Starfire, and feeling obliged to follow the traditions of his people, he will try his best to keep in the air the whole day. He doesn’t fly as visibly as Starfire though, he would mostly just keep hovering a little bit above the ground - making it look almost like he’s just standing, since his cloak covers his legs/feet when it’s closed around him. He will certainly not take anyone along with him into flight unprompted, only if the other notices and asks about what he’s doing, and voices interest, he might offer it. - Galfore participates. He’s on Tamaran when any of the festivities happen, no doubt about it and no excuses allowed unless one of the royal siblings would be in grave danger, and he enjoys the celebration. - Moonshot definitely flies too, he isn’t keen on explaining things to people though and yet he will, without warning and sometimes even without greeting them beforehand, grab people and take them into the air with him. - Starlight doesn’t know that the festivity is today, she has lost track of any tamaranean festivities a good while ago when she started moving between planets. If she’d know it is today, she still wouldn’t participate, she doesn’t see the logic in doing such a ‘local’ celebration when on a totally different world, and she tries to more-or-less avoid using her abilities all the time.
If those opens that I will reblog don’t strike your fancy - feel free to approach my muses today if you want to have a chance to explore this festivity (or how they ignore it, in Blackfire’s and Starlight’s case)!
Oh, and one more thing! This celebration also means that I will try to focus on that. Not entirely, I will see to get at least some replies done too, but my focus on such a day will be on asks/replies/threads about the “holiday” that currently is, if I have any things connected to it. And for the next week or so, Achg’wi-related threads will be handled prioritized over others.
I think that’s all I need to explain; if there are any questions, always feel free to come into my inbox and ask me! All the threads or (IC-)posts related to Achg’wi will (on my blogs) be tagged with: #Fly with Me; Today on Achg’wi!

So, yeah, you now know about the celebration that is taking place today. But since I don’t know any way to nicely show singing, outside of maybe writing ‘sing’ instead of ‘said’ or having things rhyme, I won’t do any starters or the likes from the festivity. If you want to do something with it, feel free to approach me for it, but out of my own accord, I won’t be making opens or anything.
Edit: I made a tag for it now, too! it’s applied to the original post here, but I don’t think I’ll go and add it to the reblogs too. The tag is #Live in the lyric; today it is Vongdik!

[[Before I start, this is based on my headcanons, and in no way official stuff or anything.]]
Today, the 2nd of November, is what the tamaraneans call Fesit!
What is Fesit, you ask? Basically, it is a celebration of food, or the variety of it.
How is it celebrated? It had been a much more active thing on Tamaran before much of the flora and fauna died out. By now, their dishes are more limited than before, but the tamaraneans still try to keep the same spirit up and the festivitiy going. It is based on food, and any tamaranean participating carries some food with them during the day. If they’re able to, it is self-made, but it doesn’t have to be. Anyone they encounter, they give a piece/slice/part of the food, and in exchange get some from the other. They eat it together and possibly discuss the making too. And while this isn’t a thing everyone does, there often is a big feast-table that a group (family, troop, whatever it may be) gathers together when the day comes to an end.
What does this mean for your blog? Well, if we’re mutuals (if you’re reading this on my sideblogs then please remember that I follow back from @starfirechan and not from here), I understand that as permission to maybe have my tamaranean come into your inbox to talk about the day with you - or possibly offer you some food they carry along. I still owe a good amount of things though, and I’m not sure just how much can be done with the festivity in general, so it’d rather unlikely that I’ll do it for Fesit. I’m not sure yet if I’m gonna do opens for it or not, though if there will be some, you’re free to respond to them.
I’d prefer it if there is a sort-of logical explanation for why your character knows of the tamaranean festival. As for my muses participating: - Starfire has celebrated Fesit in the previous years too, and she will do so today as well. The team is aware, and some of them actually try to avoid her where possible during the day, as it happens that she offers them tamaranean food too. - Blackfire doesn’t really care much for her planet’s festivities, and she also tends to not be aware of dates much, so she doesn’t celebrate by herself and likely won’t tell anyone about it either. (Your muse is free to ask her about it, or try to make her celebrate it, if they learned through someone else, though) - Wildfire remembers a few minor bits about the festivity, but not really much. Starfire has told him about when it takes place, and he will try to honor the festivity at least in some way. Probably not with self-made food as he doesn’t feel good about his cooking, but he would at least make sure to carry something that he could offer anyone crossing his way on the day. - Galfore definitely participates, though he is on Tamaran so the average earthen-bound muse will likely not know, or learn through him about the festivity. - Moonshot definitely participates, once he saw through Starfire that it is the time for Fesit. He’ll be carrying some food he got somewhere - either on legal ways or not - and offer it to anyone he comes across. And if asked about it, he would also explain the celebration. - Starlight isn’t aware of any tamaranean festivity, so she doesn’t participate. Even if she knew of the date though, she wouldn’t try to participate. She needs the food she can get her hands on for herself, and doesn’t see the reason in doing a celebration on another planet that doesn’t know the slightest about it anyway.
There are probably multiple ways your muses could have learned about it, and I’m open to those. But if e.g. an ‘ordinary human’ with no previous contact to anything alien related whatsoever suddenly knows of Fesit I just don’t think I could enjoy it that much.
Oh, and one more thing! This occasion also means that I will put a certain priority on it, should any threads come from it. I will see to get at least some other replies done too, but I will try to focus things that relate to it. And for the next week or so, Fesit-related threads will be handled prioritized over others.
I think that’s all I need to explain; if there are any questions, always feel free to come into my inbox and ask me! All the threads or (IC-)posts related to Fesit will be tagged with: #Please accept it; my food for Fesit!

I think that’s all I need to explain; if there are any questions, always feel free to come into my inbox and ask me! All the threads or (IC-)posts related to Trie’hr will be tagged with: #The day of remembrance; Trie’hr is here

I’m still owing a good amount of things at the moment, so I don’t think I’ll be approaching anyone for it.

[[ Before I start: This is based on my headcanons. It is in no way founded with any kind of canon or something, and the date is also (mostly randomly) chosen by me. ]]
Today, on the 23rd of August, is when the tamaranean festival named Podyme takes place!
What is Podyme, you ask? The tamaranean celebration of rhyme and poems is called Podyme. It is a rather simple kind of celebration, and easy to do even if one wasn’t prepared for it. Usually, the large majority of tamaraneans celebrate it - it’s easy enough, and most appreciate poems and rhyming enough to show the value of it by participating in the festivity.
How is it celebrated? It’s really simple! Basically, anyone participating is simply trying to rhyme throughout the whole day! It can be a bit challenging at moments, and it isn’t too terrible if you can’t keep it up all the time - it’s the spirit, the thought, that counts; and as long as you keep doing it as good as you can, that’s good enough!
What does this mean for your blog? I don’t think I’ll be approaching anyone for it, it’s not a thing that needs to be celebrated with others so your muse would more take note of it through just happening across one of my muses, and not by them coming to yours for it.
The usual thing stands: Please have a at least somewhat logical explanation how your muse could have learned about the celebration if you want to go in with your muse already knowing of it (Starfire might have told her friends, Wildfire wouldn’t talk too much about it and/or maybe not know the date, Galfore might have told about it too but the others most likely wouldn’t mention it at all). There are of course many ways your muses could have learned about it, and I’m open to those. But if e.g. an ‘ordinary human’ with no previous contact to anything alien related whatsoever suddenly knows all of Podyme I just don’t think I could enjoy it that much.
As for who of my muses participate how: - Starfire definitely does her very best to participate as well as possible. It is likely rather confusing for someone coming across her (and it had been the first time for the other Titans as well) that she’ll be rhyming all her sentences as well as she can, but if asked about it she wouldn’t mind explaining. Even in a battle with the enemy, she would try to continue rhyming what she says! - Blackfire surely doesn’t participate. She might be aware that it’s the date where it is, but she doesn’t care for the traditions of her people. - Wildfire too will certainly try to do the festivity as it’s intended (after having learned that it is today from Starfire), but he’ll probably do really bad. With the lack of language, he’ll end up stuttering through his sentences a lot more when he also attempts to make them rhyme, he’ll probably misplace words in the sentence a lot too to make it work better as rhyme. - Galfore participates. He’s on Tamaran when any of the festivities happen, no doubt about it and no excuses allowed unless one of the royal siblings would be in grave danger, and he enjoys the celebration. - Moonshot definitely rhymes too, though he isn’t too keen on explaining it to the unknowing earthlings so he might actually ignore your asking if you find him and notice how he speaks in rhymes. - Starlight doesn’t know that the festivity is today, she has lost track of any tamaranean festivities a good while ago when she started moving between planets. If she’d know it is today, she still wouldn’t participate, she doesn’t see the logic in doing such a ‘local’ celebration when on a totally different world.
I will likely simply reblog the opens that I did on Podyme before, for my earth-staying muses that do participate, but even if those don’t strike your fancy - feel free to approach my muses today if you want to have a chance to explore this festivity (or how they ignore it, in Blackfire’s and Starlight’s case)!
Oh, and one more thing! This celebration also means that I will try to focus on that. Not entirely, I will see to get at least some replies done too, but my focus on such a day will be on asks/replies/threads about the “holiday” that currently is. And for the next week or so, Podyme-related threads will be handled prioritized over others.
I think that’s all I need to explain; if there are any questions, always feel free to come into my inbox and ask me! All the threads or (IC-)posts related to Podyme will (on my blogs) be tagged with: #It’s time to rhyme; for it is Podyme!

Well, I likely won’t be approaching people for celebrating it. But I will make (or maybe simply reblog from last year) some opens for the festivity, at least on those of my tamaraneans that would/will openly celebrate it. Please also see this as an open invitation to have your muse come to my askbox (or tag me in a post if you prefer) and show the wish to celebrate Firrtin’z with my tamaraneans (or if your muse doesn’t know about the festivity yet but you want them to participate, simply happen to come by today, at least some of my tamaraneans will be most happy to explain about the celebration then).
If someone would let her know though, she might participate, though only in ways that aren’t too much effort - if someone doesn’t want to do it, she won’t bother them with it.
This celebration also means that I will try to focus on that. Not entirely, I will see to get at least some other replies done too, but my focus on such a day will be on asks/replies/threads about the “holiday” that currently is.

Moonshot wouldn’t participate, at least not openly or out to others - in his mind he would, but he finds singing out loud would only confuse and irritate the people here since he isn’t on Tamaran at the moment - and Starlight is probably not really aware of the festivity to be today - and if she would, she would do it a little bit here and there, but not like the whole day through.

[[ Before I start: This is based on my headcanons. It is in no way founded with any kind of canon or something (aside from the fact that this festival exists in canon and the necklaces have also been shown), and the date is also (mostly randomly) chosen by me. ]]
Today, on the 17th of April, is when the tamaranean festival named Blorthog takes place!
What is Blorthog, you ask? It is the tamaranean festival to celebrate friendships. It is important to realize the value of your friendships, so that you can treat them with as much importance as when they were new. This celebration is held to help admit the feelings of friendship that are there, to recall them and remember them again.
How is it celebrated? The most prominent feature of Blorthog are the necklaces. They are self-made, with care and without limitations about their colors. The common-used variant are simple white/grey-ish beads, but there is no explicit rule to stick to those. These necklaces are carefully placed around the friend’s necks, while exchaning well-wishes. The basic of the festival is only the gifting of necklaces and then the spending time with friends. There are more activities that can be done, but none is truly necessary. Examples of other activities are: - A very long hugging - Standing in a circle (if there are more than two people, otherwise standing in front of each other), holding hands and voicing what one is grateful for in their present friends - As it is also common in most earthen festivities, on Blorthog there is very often a cake to be shared among friends, as well - Exchanging of other, thoughtful, gifts (as in what the other long dreamed of but would never get for themselves). Gifting from a wishlist - or gifting gift coupons or the likes - is wrong though, it is way too shallow to be appropriate for a festival that celebrates strong friendships
There are more activities that can be done, some of which require the tamaranean abilities or are rather rough, but these are the most common ones.
What does this mean for your blog? Well, if we’re mutuals (if you’re reading this on my sideblogs then please remember that I follow back from @starfirechan and not from here), I understand that as permission to maybe have my tamaranean come into your inbox, wishing to celebrate it with you. If this ever bothers you but you still wish to keep following me, please tell me that you do not like this and I will make a note to keep you out of this. Please also see this as an open invitation to have your muse come to my askbox (or tag me in a post if you prefer) and show the wish to celebrate Blorthog with my tamaraneans.
I’d prefer it if there is a sort-of logical explanation for why your character knows of the tamaranean festival. - If they have any kind of relationship with Starfire (maybe except enemies), it makes sense that she could have explained the festivity and it’s date in some talk they had “off-screen” (or even in a RP). - Blackfire would never talk much about her home planet or the festivals there though, so it’s highly unlikely you would learn about it from her (your muse could have learned about it through someone else though and like ‘confront’ her with it or something!), and - Wildfire has been told of the date, but he only remembers little bits and pieces of the actual festivity; he has learned more about it from Starfire last year and so he now is at least a bit prepared to celebrate it with his friends, but he still wouldn’t talk to them about the day before it comes as he doesn’t feel like he knows enough to explain it well. - Moonshot isn’t exactly the biggest talker, so while he definitely values tamaranean festivities he probably would not have explained it to anyone unless directly asked about it in some way. As for celebrating it, he does so with the tamaranean festivities whenever he can - but there aren’t really people that he would actually call friends, here yet (unless counting Starfire of course). - Starlight doesn’t care much about tamaranean traditions or festivities, so it’s unlikely she would explain it to anyone, or celebrate it. - Galfore… I mean, he is on Tamaran, he wouldn’t leave the planet on a celebration as common and known and valued on Tamaran as Blorthog. It is possible that he told other muses about the date beforehand, but he probably wouldn’t know of the exact earthen date for it; and what he might do to actually celebrate it with people from Earth is limited to talking through the communication systems of the Titans - or of course your muse comes to Tamaran but I assume that’s unlikely.
There are of course other ways your muses could have learned about it, and I’m open to those. But if e.g. an ‘ordinary human’ with no previous contact to anything alien related whatsoever suddenly knows all of Blorthog I just don’t think I could enjoy it that much.
I wasn’t sure if I wanna do it, but I thought it’s a nice gesture to do it, so like last year, I will approach some people through their asks. I won’t do that for many since I feel like Blorthog-threads usually are rather boring and die down quickly, and (assuming the other person answers the ask) when I offer a continuation of the thread, I’ll try to mention that right away in the tags too in a way to explain that I don’t mind if we not continue it. Please be aware that I can’t reach everyone, it is easy to miss out on a blog and I also will not bother anyone that isn’t active currently. I’ll only pick a few whom I send stuff to, and it has to make sense to me how my muses find yours and meet them and the likes, but as I said above, you’re free to send me something for Blorthog as well! Don’t feel sad if you don’t get any ask from me, I most likely either have a good explanation for it, or missed you when going through my list of mutuals.
Oh, and one more thing! This celebration also means that I will try to focus on that. Not entirely, I will see to get at least some replies done too, but my focus on such a day will be on asks/replies/threads about the “holiday” that currently is. And for the next week or so, Blorthog-related threads will be handled prioritized over others. Not to mention I’ll be terribly nervous for at least half the day because of sending stuff to people.
I think that’s all I need to explain; if there are any questions, always feel free to come into my inbox and ask me! All the threads or (IC-)posts related to Blorthog will (on my blogs) be tagged with: #I Wish You A Happy Blorthog!

I will most likely also make open starters on some of my muses, and you’re welcome to answer to that.
