I genuinely cant get over it like??? I mean I guess he could have forgot bc he was in shock of being stabbed and merlin actually saying it but still cmon arthur bffr. Like does he just listen to everything dream merlin says in hopes that its true?? Or does he think he managed to figure it out himself and that his brain simply chose to project the information through merlin? And the implications there speak for themselves really.

a feature film i assisted in sfx on just got an article on Bloody Disgusting! featuring names you might recognize such as: Felissa Rose, LC Holt, and Miles Dimitri Baker of Ice Nine Kills! i had the time of my life working on this movie, the cast and crew have become my second family and i cannot wait for the world to see it. please share in any way you can!

i do love canon amy & rory but god, does some part of me wish they really had gone with the idea of the doctor picking up a child as a companion (and then later, that child’s best friend with a huge crush on her.) with the rest of the season really not changing at all, except now it’s amelia pond with an angel in her head killing her and lost alone in the woods. it’s little rory who dies and is forgotten and becomes a toy soldier. if this is going to be a fairy tale, then let it be one. children have never been safe in fairy tales.

"Just don't force me to improve on the design" suggests Evil Morty will not even bother building the Omega Device (he disapproved of it because it was so bulky lol), and will only deign to devote any of his time to it if he catches whiff of them trying to track him down (I mean... IF he is to be taken at his word; he IS a huge liar, after all).

...Which in turn suggests he will be monitoring them periodically or something.

So everyone be on the lookout in the next season for our protagonists (and by that I mean Morty) being badly cornered in a battle with no way out and then the enemy robots (or spaceship or evil A.I. or whatever) suddenly starting to malfunction, killing each other instead, and some little on/off light on the back of the robots' heads turning discreetly yellow.

Chuuya is asleep and he is having a surreal dream. Everyone he knew is now a chicken but with their face pasted on the chickens’ head and with angels’ wings. They are all talking really loudly and flapping their angelic wings until they turn and looked at Chuuya. Chuuya looks down and sees that he is an angel but with chicken wings! Dazai flew over, eating a chicken leg. Who knows where that chicken leg came from? Everyone all chanted,” All hail the chicken angels!” Suddenly, Chuuya wakes up. (April Fool’s prank from Phantasos, it is up to you if you want to answer it or not, just thought it would be fun to spread pranks)

Chuuya just stares up at the ceiling for the longest time when he wakes up with a start, furrowing his brows in confusion. Well this is new. Sitting up slowly, he looks around his room, which is... notably average and everything he expects it to be, but--

"...where am I?"

“I know a couple folks would be upset if they heard me talk the way I do about myself. But it’s the truth. The reality of it all. Heaven barely notices my absence whenever I go down to Hell. Those that know now took months to realize. And that’s okay, I’m basically a dark secret that’s not supposed to be noticed and known. If I did not come back, nothing would really change. My duties are subtle and merely a fancy title with a face that only God wanted to see again.”

Mmm yes good this dead space au is tasty. I'm curious though, what IS Dream doing during all this? 👀 And maybe if you have thoughts on the other trio what's goin' on over with them too?

I was playing around with two ideas for Dream, either that he was already off the ship or that he’s still on it and simply don’t know his boyfriends are on it too until the last couple of hours of the event (I imagine the time frame of Sapnap and George getting on the ship and eventually managing to escape it is no longer than 10-12 hours, there’s just things constantly happening within those hours). I eventually decided to go with the latter since it would be more interesting for Dream’s character and make more sense to the story.

So Dream has been on the ship since the beginning, since before the Marker was brought on board and witnessed everything unfold on the planet colony and then eventually on the Ishimura. He was protesting bringing the Mark onboard from the very start, having seen the effects it had on some of the civilians from the colony that they brought up to study. But of course the religious fanatics thought it more important to retrieve their holy relic than to protect the lives of their crew. 

In hopes of learning more about the Marker and how it affects people Dream studied it pretty closely and he knows it's the artifact that is causing everything. It makes people have delusions, it causes them to die at the hands of each other or themselves, and it then mutates the DNA of the corpses, creating Infectors that spread the necromorph mutation, creating more dead bodies to infect.

Dream is also having delusions, but he’s more aware of them. He actually keeps seeing Sapnap and George even before they arrive on the ship. At first he ignores them, not falling for the Marker’s tricks, but the worse things get the more he starts to turn to his hallucinations for comfort. He knows that they’re not really there, but he starts talking to them to soothe himself.

This ended up making him believe Sapnap and George are just his normal hallucinations when he does get in contact with them, and he kind of acts like they’ve been on the ship the whole time. Sapnap easily goes along with it because he’s “seen” Dream too so it makes sense to him. Meanwhile George is trying to figure out what the fuck is going on and start question his own sanity with the way his boyfriends are acting. Maybe he’s the one going insane?

As for the other three, they don’t get added to the story until after the Ishimura events!

Karl is a scientist sent with a team to gather Marker shards on Aegis VII, or what’s left of the planet (spoiler, dnn manage to return the Marker to the planet where it, and part of the planet, is crushed when the Ishimura’s gravity tethers fail, releasing the planet chunk it was holding and sending it crashing back down miles below.). He is heavily influenced by just the shard they find and bring back to the ship, managing to decode part of the Marker’s purpose and architectural design to potentially build a new one. But he also ends up testing his knowledge which triggers another necromorph outbreak on this other ship. 

He survives but is taken in by EarthGov, the main governmental body of this setting, that wants to sweep all these Marker events under the rug. They torture him for his knowledge and then lock him in a cryo chamber for potential future use. The same has happened to dnn after they managed to escape the Ishimura.

Three years later we find Punz and Foolish on the Sprawl, a civilian space station built on the remains of Saturn's moon, Titan, which was broken into pieces in a planet cracking operation. Punz is a security and repair officer on the station while Foolish is a technician. They’re often paired up to fix things and are really close friends, maybe even a little bit more than that already. 

They’re doing their normal routine of getting called out to repair jobs around the station when they notice a lot of the issues they come across seem to have been deliberately sabotaged and tampered with. It's while they’re musing over this that they are notified of an outbreak on the station, and I’m sure you can guess what that means!

As it so happens, the cryo chambers the other four have been stored in are also on the Sprawl and Foolish, an agent of Unitology, is tasked to let them out amidst the outbreak. All six of them will end up getting separated and paired up to survive yet another necromorph outbreak.

Hob automatically spreads his legs for the Nightmare, although he can’t recognize if this is a dream or reality at this very moment. He’s drunk. He’s at a bar? People are speaking and he doesn’t exactly know what they’re saying. But he sips his martini until it’s finished, casting a curious glance at the Corinthian.

"Here?"

The Nightmare takes another mouthful from his martini whilst his wandering hand traverses up the contours of Hob's thigh. Only stopping as his palm comes to rest inches from his groin. His fingers deliver a tantalising squeeze when the Immortal questions his intentions. Lowering his glass, dark shades direct their gaze away from the busy bar towards his drinking partner.

He gifts Hob a charming smile, clearly unbothered by the bustling scene surrounding them. Setting down his martini on the table before them, that offers very little privacy beneath.

"Whats the matter, darling?" The Nightmare questions as he leans in to bring his lips to Hob's ear, his dulcet tones carrying past the noise of the crowds and the bars music. That wandering hand inches a little higher.

"This not your scene?"
