how did you find out about shifting?

my younger sibling told me about it. they started telling me stories about how they had shifted to hogwarts and like most people i assumed they were talking about a dream but they corrected me on it. i'm noe way more into shifting than they are lmao.

2. what was your first dr?

so when i first got into shifting i actually had never watched harry potter, so my first dr ever was my hero academia. i dont have any of my old scripts but trust me they were kinda embarrassing. but if i remember correctly my first EVER dr was to be a part of the big three at UA and my love interest was tamaki amajiki. then in my later scripts i was in class 1-A and scripted literally half the class had a crush on me.

3. who's your love interest in your drs?

i haven't scripted specific love interests for each dr i kinda just wanna see what happens at the moment. the only love interest i'm set on is regulus in my marauder's dr.

4. what is something you always script? & what is something other people script that you don't?

i always script clear skin, that i cant die, all the basic stuff. in my hogwarts drs i always script that Lupin is the DADA professor every year, yearly yule balls and other dances, scripting out cedric and fred's deaths and also script out the battle of hogwarts. i also script perfect vision bc i cant see shit without my glasses lmao

i personally dont script out my period or getting sick because i'd like to keep some of the realism and i honestly dont mind stuff like that.

TodoBakuDeku (My Hero Academia)

Obviously not canon and never will be but oh does this ship have a chokehold on me. I just think this trio is so balanced in every way. Like we have our precious TodoDeku who connect by being nerds and the sweetest boys. Then we also have TodoBaku who are just lovely little menaces. And, of course, BakuDeku--can't beat friends to enemies to lovers. And then they all come together to form a masterpiece. Idk I just love this ship so much.

BakuDeku (My Hero Academia)

So I honestly really wasn't into this ship too much until reading the final war arc and meta. Other people's viewpoints changed my mind! Hori has done a really great job of portraying BakuDeku's complex relationship in the manga (for however you view their canon relationship). So like idk how can I not ship For-the-Rest-of-Our-Lives Katsuki with Control-Your-Heart Izuku?

Sidenote: I almost didn't include this on the list because I tend to only really ship this pair while reading the manga. I never shipped them in the anime unless it was TodoBakuDeku with Deku as a hinge. And I don't even read many fics with just Katsuki and Izuku. I just feel like fandom BakuDeku feels incomplete without Shouto for some reason. Like I'm Team BakuDeku for the manga, Team hinge TodoBakuDeku in the anime, but throuple TodoBakuDeku in the sanctuary of my mind/on ao3. (Maybe that'll change once I start watching Season 7 though.)

KilluGon (Hunter x Hunter)

I only watched this anime this year but ohmygod I immediately fell in love with Gon and Killua. They are so precious. I mean, Killua is just a little smitten kitten. And Gon? He's in it. Anyway, love their dynamic and of course I ship them. Gon is Killua's light after all!

MatchaBlossom (Sk8 the Infinity)

Literally just started shipping this so I'm in the throes of obsession rn but their dynamic? *chef's kiss* (hehe, you like what I did there?) Childhood friends? Pining while the other falls for another? Realizing feelings? Already married bickering old couple? Give me all the headcanons please!

SatoSugu (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Ok so this crackship was brought on by my serendipitous viewing of Nicktoons Unite fanart on this beautiful app and subsequent reading of all their fics on ao3 (a grand total of four, btw). And I'm obsessed. I was a diehard Danny Phantom fan as a kid (we stan our queer/genderqueer/bisexual/trans ghost boy). And I never watched El Tigre as a kid, but the way the fandom portrays him and Danny together just hits. Salty and sweet with a lil bit of darkness? Yum.

I mean, the same happened with Naruto back in the day. It had cool characters and a cool set up... and then after the Chunin exams? It was all shit.

And this is without saying how Land of Waves is the only good arc in Naruto.

Naruto inspired My Hero Academia which inspired Jujutsu Kaisen and zo we'll never be free from mid battle Shounen.

I'm not much of a Naruto fan, most of what I know about it past a certain point I've gathered from summaries from friends. I've only ever watched the anime and I never actually finished that either lmao but like I can see that since I actually found everything after the Land of Waves arc painfully boring, even the Chunin Exams. I actually cant name one arc now that left a mark on my brain.

Also to be fair very few shounen havent been subject to complete decline by at least the 2 and or 3rd arc if the go for it and then some. Like maybe it's my tiredness rn but I can name very few let alone one I think was perfect or at least narratively strong all the way through right now. If you can and I havent read one I shall write it down lmao I think in general popular manga need to find a balance between lengthiness and not enough volumes for the kind of meatiness some of these shorter stories have the potential for.

It's a My Hero Academia fic. The title is Dig My Grave (take my hand) and features an OC named Sayuri. You can read more about her here. There's also a moodboard here.

Okay, so if you've been around for my fic The Art of Seclusion, (or any of my dark drabbles/ficlets) you'll know that I'm a sucker for exploring things like obsession. This fic deals a lot with the villains of the show, especially (mainly) Dabi. It's not completely planned because I haven't decided on how dark it's going to be nor in which direction it's going to go (aka whether it'll have a happy ending or not). Also if I'm going to follow canon because rn I've only seen the anime. I haven't caught up on the manga yet.

Sayuri has been hiding her strength, wanting to live a quiet, peaceful life after her tumultuous childhood. Luck is not on her side when she finds herself the centre of attention after being recorded using that strength to save the children in her care and ignoring the reporters and heroes on the scene. This is after Stain's ideals start spreading and she finds herself facing off with the LoV who want to use her notoriety to draw others in. They're expecting a schoolteacher. They don't expect her.

Sayuri struggles to find her way out as the sides close in around her. Dabi's interest only grows as he learns about her past and demands to know why she refuses revenge. He's determined to make her see his way of things. She won't let him win. He won't let her go.

It's going to be similar to AoS in the way it's going to explore obsession and what you're willing to sacrifice of yourself to survive. Still, Sayuri is different from Amelia due to past trauma and the anger that she holds tightly. She's not afraid to take action and some of this fic will show how sometimes you have to find a way to work through your fears and be vulnerable in order to succeed. Things like that aren't easy and she's going to have to keep herself from drowning as she does so. The fic will also dive into the way that the villains are human and heroes aren't always good (much like the anime/manga does).

I'm actually really looking forward to it and I have the feeling that like AoS, it'll probably go in its own way and might go darker than I intend. Of course, I'm already planning a lot and after I told @emerald-valkyrie some of it, they're trying to kidnap Sayuri from me to protect her, lol. So that should tell you how it's going.

I just want to share that ab 2 weeks ago I saw alot of mha tiktoks on my fyp, since the season 6 is coming out and I tought that I'm gonna catch up with it, so I won't get spoilers.

My hero academia was my first ever anime that I watched in 2019. I was sooo obsessed with mha as a 12 yo girl. My fyp was full of cosplays and content so I was in this hyperfixation era for about 4-5 months. I was so so amazed by this anime. In 2019 february only 3 seasons was out and I only watched it till like S4 EP6. And now, I stated to continue.

While I was watching rn, I got so nostalgic and aaaa I can't even describe the feeling. I felt like I was so carefree and had that kinda piece of me brought back.

Y/N was his best friend. They had met early in their first year of UA, when Y/N tried making friends with Bakugou but got introduced to Kirishima instead. They'd been inseperable from then on. He cherished her like the earth did the sun's warmth. He cared for her like she was the thing keeping his heart beating. May that be the case. He loved her.

But for that very same reason, he stands by here day by day.

It was her turn to visit Kirishima's agency for their daily lunch. She wore her hero costume, coming quickly from a robbery stop. It's not like he even minded, he just wanted to see her.

"Hiro texted me this morning saying he wanted to meet me at our picnic spot after school." Y/N spoke cheerily, cleaning against Kirishima's desk with a wide smile. Her happy aura effected him, making a grin appear on his own lips. Only because of her giddiness, not because of why she was this way.

"How long have you two been together again?" Kirishima reluctantly asked, finding it easy to pretend he cared about Hiro that much, "If you two got together halfway through Third Year, then..."

Y/N sat back down in her chair, continuing to eat her pre-made lunch by her best friend himself. "It should be..." She started, blinking before feeling her heart stop momentarily, "—about three years..."

Kirishima glanced at her, worried for a second. "You sound disappointed." He joked, watching her wave her hand at him.

"What? No, no, I'm—I'm not." She replied, rolling her eyes. She played a grin on her lips, looking away and giving that look Kirishima knew all too well. He had seen it frequently during her and Hiro's relationship.

That look meant that she was uneasy.

But he only shrugged his shoulders and finished his drink.

"That's fine, Y/N." Kirishima spoke, placing his cup down, "Three years is a long time, isn't it? You two must be very comfortable with each other by now."

Y/N nodded her head slowly. "Yeah."

He felt his heart sink at how she looked down at her lap. So he cleared his throat and sat up straight. "Oh, yeah, your question from before." He lit up his tone, trying to sound more excited for his best friend, "Well, uh... isn't his favourite colour light blue? I think that would be good."

He didn't talk to Hiro that much.

He only knew these things because of how frequently Y/N would speak about him.

She smiled, finishing her lunch fully now. "That's a good idea. Thanks, Eijiro."

He caught her grin, only doing the same back however softly. He then caught himself this time, blinking and looking away from his best friend he definitely didn't have feelings for. "Well anyway, I hope you have fun. We should probably go on patrol now, right?" He offered, standing up and taking her empty recyclable lunch box to throw away.

She waited a few seconds before following after him.

That Night . . .

"What are you saying?" Kirishima asked, brows furrowed as he changed out of of his hero uniform, "You're drunk."

He had just got home, having to do around five hours of patrol by himself as Y/N had clocked out of work to enjoy her date. It wasn't tiring, physically that is. However, with his mind constantly on Y/N, it was hard not to be drained by the worry and want to be around her.

So when he got a call from her as soon as he walked into his house, he was more than confused.

She didn't sound herself.

"It was just..." She took a deep and loud breath before bursting in a light giggle, "Oh my God, Eijiro! It was so—He was so awkward, it was so cute."

Kirishima's eyes darkened, and he suddenly understood. She sounded off her mind. But it was because she was speaking about her boyfriend. He closed his eyes before tugging on his shirt. "Hiroto, right?" He asked lowly, tired.

She giggled again, this time slower and sounding more unconscious of her actions, "Yes, he was so cute. For a while."

Her laughter died down.

Eijiro clutched the phone harder. "What happened then?" He questioned, feeling an ache in his heart, "Did Hiroto do something?"

"He broke up with me." Y/N says, now at a low chuckle. Her voice wavered, as if she was tearing up just talking about it. And then her laughing stopped. "He... He told me that he loved me, but he still loved his ex..."

Kirishima stopped moving.

"He said that?" He mumbled out before hearing her sniffle, "Y/N, where are you?"

She only sighed out, the sound of her hitting the stool, "Well, after Hiro broke my heart into little pieces, he was kind enough to drive me home." She shuffled around her kitchen, not really doing anything. She walked in circles. "That, however, was after he told me that he'd drop my things off later this week."

Kirishima frowned even more, fixing up his clothes and grabbing his wallet and keys. "I'm gonna' come over, okay? I don't think you should be alone when you're drunk." He stated, already tugging on a jumper over his chest, "I'll be there in 15 minutes, stay on call with me."

Y/N only laughed out through the phone, "What? Why not? I've only had—..."

Kirishima waits as she counts the glasses she's drunk.

"Like six..." She mutters out.

Kirishima enters his car. "Only six?"

Y/N shakes her head. "Sixteen."

"Oh God—" Kirishima huffed out, connecting the phone to his sound system. He drove out of his driveway and down the road. "You know what? Tell me about your agency, Y/N. Tell me anything and everything about it."

He didn't want her to hang up. Just in case she would be in danger, in any way or form. He just needed her to keep talking. To him. About whatever. So he started with what she built.

Time went on and Y/N was now blabbering on about how her costume design was changed around three times. Kirishima was asking her what one she liked best as he looked to see he was five minutes away.

"Ooh, the red and black one." She claimed, downing another drink. Much to Kirishima's demise. "Because we matched! We were so cute, Eijiro, weren't we?"

He smiled to himself, stopping at a red light. "Yeah... we were." He sighed out.

It didn't take him much longer to finally arrive at her house. He took out his keys, a spare one of Y/N chained on with his, and opening the front door with ease. He called out her name once. And then twice. And then saw Y/N look at him from around the corner, waving a bottle of cheap wine that Kaminari got her as a present jokingly. It was half empty now, the cap off and spilling drops a few times. She smiled carelessly and called out for Kirishima.

"Woah, okay, hold on." Kirishima spoke, closing the door behind him and taking off his shoes. He slides on his house slippers and makes his way over to her. "Let's go to the living room, okay? We'll watch Howl's Moving Castle."

Y/N grinned widely, taking his hand and dragging him to the kitchen first. "Yes! First, we have to drink!" She claimed, pushing another bottle of wine into his arms as well as two glasses, "We haven't had a glass in ages...."

Kirishima chuckled nervously, following her into the living room now, "That's because you drank with Hiro..."

She looked back to him, over her shoulder as she stood in the hallway.

She was wearing the light blue dress that Hiro used to like. However, it was dishevelled and incredibly messy, some wine stains and dried tears on the collar. Kirishima noticed as soon as he walked in.

"Hiro..?"

Kirishima took her hand, sitting down on the couch and making sure he set the glasses on the table. He looked her in the eyes, trying hard to not let her face away.

"Do you want to talk about what happened?" He questioned, rubbing his thumb over her knuckles, "With Hiro?"

"No. What's there to say?" She laughed, leaning back into the couch, "He said he loved her. So he's going to her. And here I am." She looks to Kirishima, squeezing his hand. "But at least I'm not alone, right?"

Kirishima huffed back, staring down at their hands, "Right."

He knew Y/N wouldn't want to be alone, so after a few more drinks (which she downed pretty easily) and a dinner for two at home, she was out like a light on the couch.

His arms wrapped around her, letting Y/N lay on his chest and pillows under his head. He closed his eyes as the TV quietly played Ponyo in the background, the last film for their Studio Ghibli marathon. His fingers brushed against her back, chest slowly rising and falling in a steady beat.

Y/N drew circles against his bicep.

"Sorry you had to come all this way for this shitty breakup, Eijiro." She sighed out quietly, now more sober than she was beforehand. Kirishima had asked her to drink more water after he watched her down another whole bottle of wine. "I wish this never happened. The thing with Hiro. I wish that never happened."

She furrows her brows, a small frown on her lips. A drunk man's word is truth. "But he did love me at some point, right?" She states, leaning her cheek against his chest, "I have no idea when he stopped loving me, or even why for that matter. But I know, during our relationship, we loved each other at the same time. Maybe that was a year or so ago..."

She soon closed her eyes, feeling the tears begin to pour as she sniffed out, "Love is fucking hard... Why is everyone else having it easy?" She buried her head into his chest.

Uraraka and Midoriya were happy. They had been together for years now, even married for a couple. And they were Pro Heroes thriving to protect and provide for their loved ones. Why couldn't Y/N find something like that?

She wrapped her arms tighter around Kirishima, feeling his warmth drip onto her. The only source for a while. "I just..." She sighed out, trying to calm herself down, "I just wish you loved me like I love you, Eijiro. That would've made things so much more easier."

It was late, the movie was still playing and she was about to fall asleep, like how Eijiro was doing at the moment. Except he wasn't. He wasn't sleeping. He was wide awake, trying to stop his heart from beating so fast because Holy shit, his best friend and also long time crush has just confessed to him.

He waited for a while, a good 20 minutes until she was finally asleep. No matter what, he knew that this was not her ideal confession. She meant for him to be asleep. Not hearing her slightly sober words. But nevertheless, he heard everything. For her sake, however, he'll pretend he wasn't aware.

This is the only time he has to act.

After turning off the movie and shifting them to be facing each other, Kirishima held her against his chest, arm under her head. He brushed his fingers along her shoulder, kissing her forehead.

"I do love you." He whispers, voice a little hoarse as he tries to keep quiet. He closed his eyes. "I have for the longest time. Now that you've finally told me, I feel like I should be... ecstatic. But I want to give you time."

He pulled away slightly. "I've waited this long. A little more couldn't hurt." He chuckled to himself, admiring her sleeping form, "Tell me you love me when you no longer cry for him. After you love yourself even more than before and beat up those villains' asses."

He hugged her tightly.

"I'll love you the most when you're at your best."

10. Bakugo Katsuki - My Hero Academia

- okay listen, I dont tall much abt Bakugo because honestly he's an annoying piece of shit. However, I understand why he's an annoying piece of shit. The amount of effort and psychology that's put into his character is fucking amazing, one of the best I've seen in a while. I think Bakugo has the potential to have an amazing redemption arc for all the shit he's done to Midoriya, if done right. Of course erasing asshole-ery isn't gonna happen in one night, but if he's willing to try, I think Bakugo could do it.

9. Yusaku Fujiki - Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS

- now Yusaku is right here bc I honestly don't know much about it. I've been meaning to watch the series, but i've only gotten as far as ep. 10. But he gives me major Yusei vibes and I'm excited to see what the creators have and are going to do with him, because unlike his predecessors, his backstory seems much more dark and tragic. Why he's a favorite? Well I mean shit it's the first time I liked an anime character that's actually MY AGE so yeah 😚

8. Kirishima Eijirou - My Hero Academia

- at this point ranking doesnt mean shit so stfu. I love kirishima. He's one of VERY FEW positive male representations in anime that I've seen. And I sincerely hope Horikoshi gives him the screentime and glow up he deserves because this can be a huge turning point in how boys see how they are represented in the mainstream media. With how popular MHA is rn, Kirishima could easily dismantle many toxic masculinity stereotypes set up by western media if given the space and opportunity for it.

7. Taichi Yagami - Digimon Adventures tri

- reason why I chose Digimon Adventures tri. specifically is because 1) they're aged up in this part of the series, and 2) the turmoil that Tai goes through reflects a lot of my own inner turmoil when it comes to making decisions i know will effect everyone. Throughout this part of the series Tai struggles with how to deal with the invasion of Digimon since, even though the Digi-Destined are back to being "regular kids" they're titles were never throughly undone. And with him being the designated leader of the group, all eyes go to him for answers. He's not the same kid who has the fire in his eyes and the certainty of his actions - he's thinking of how everyone - the entire world - will be affected by his actions. It's a scary concept being put on a 17 year old, one that I struggle with a lot in my time, so I always relate heavily to Tai in this part of his journey.

5. Spike Spiegal - Cowboy Bebop

- let me tell you about this piece of shit right here 😡 We have a love hate relationship going on here. I love him to death and feel sympathy for what he's been through but if he would just SHUT THE FUCK UP everything would be cool. But nooooo he has to have a smart ass mouth. Wish I could just pop that mf in it 🙄 but yes I love Spike and his moss for hair havin ass.

4. Korra - The Legend of Korra

- Yes I know its not an anime but stfu. I can't tell you how excited I was that a show with a woman of color protagonist was coming to Nickelodeon. Korra definitely helped me with a lot of my confidence issues and how I see myself as a woman. She taught me it's okay to be strong, but it's also okay to let yourself be vulnerable. It's okay to love and lose and you can still rise from the ashes of it. And most importantly, it's okay to not know what you like in terms of dating, it's okay to explore your sexuality and feel comfortable in your skin. If I didnt have Korra in my childhood, I dont know where I'd be at right now, honestly.

3. Aang - Avatar: The Last Airbender

- AGAIN I KNOW ITS NOT AN ANIME STFU. Aang is another comfort character for me in how he's so skilled in de-escalation and evasive maneuvers. He's practically one with the wind, which is kind of what I aspire to be in life. He's a natural born peacemaker and childish at heart, which are two qualities i see in myself as well. Okay, and he's cute as fuck like, him babie 🥺🥺🥺

2. Shinsou Hitoshi - My Hero Academia

- I'm sure yall are surprised why he's not no. 1, but I shall explain. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE shinsou. I've never met a character I could relate to so much in this day and age. And the way I kin this man is honestly unbelievable. We share a lot of similarities, one of them being how people don't necessarily believe in the things we can do if we put our minds to it. Shinsou is such a comfort character and I love him to bits, and the only reason he's no. 2 is because of my all-time husband since I was little.

1. Yusei Fudo - Yu-Gi-Oh! 5DS

- listen, I kin this man way to hard. It's almost as if we share the same soul. Like- ofc when I was watching it as a kid I was more focused on the physical appeal bc he do be fine asf 😩😩 but rewatching the series now that I'm older, I definitely see why I kin Yusei. He's quiet but has this kind of "don't fuck with my family" aura. He's gentle but isnt afraid to get his hands dirty when it comes to those he loves. He's got a heart of gold and honestly i wouldn't see anyone else at no. 1.

I just finished watching this anime called Parasyte and Black Butler before that. I'm looking for a new one to start. I've heard one called Devilman is good but I don't know. There's 2 shows on Netflix under that name except one has crybaby added to the title. 🤷‍♀️ I've seen you post alot about Hunter x Hunter. Probably a stupid question to ask but is it any good? I'd like one with a little bit of humor...I tried to watch Attack on Titan but...it was a bit much for me 😬 I guess I'm just asking if you have any recommendations on anime lol

HxH is good indeed! Though I can’t finish it cause my skills at time management suck and I’m at the longest and most traumatic arc in the show rn - I’m pretty aware of what comes next. The universe itself is pretty dark and dangerous, there’s a lot of grey characters, so you can feel sympathy for both antagonists and protagonists, which is very attractive for me. If Kuroshitsuji and Parasyte are the only titles you’ve watched, I can recommend you Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, sorry, if you’ve already seen it, this is just like one of the first things that pop up in my mind x) Second one is a film called Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, really atmospheric animation masterpiece. Really, it’s so aesthetic that I don’t have any words to describe it, just watch it :’D After you said that Attack on Titan was too much for you I’m not sure you’re gonna like the next one, or else it would be the first thing that I recommend you. It’s Hellsing Ultimate OVA, and if the thing about AoT was “too much violence”, well, Hellsing is more like ultraviolence x) But if in AoT you as a viewer are always in prey position, Hellsing is more about reversible horror at some point, cause the main character is antihero. If you’re okay with animated violence, you can even have fun watching Alucard tear his enemies into pieces. The setting is pretty dark too, though there are kinda unexpected humorous inserts, one may say they’re ruin the atmosphere, but I find them pretty charming. About new ones I really enjoyed Promised Neverland and Made in Abyss, they’re both unfinished, but pretty interesting. Both have mysterious setting, both are pretty tense and dramatic. And also there’s one title which is completely horror, but I just can’t be silent - it’s called Mononoke, it’s really short (only 12 episodes), includes like... 4 or 5 stories, I believe, but they’re just brilliant and the visual style is very catching. And the last ones is My Hero Academia which works as a really cool drama sometimes but comparing to everything listed above is pretty light to watch, and Gurren Lagann and Brand New Animal - these are just titles with cool action and visual style, neither dark, nor too deep. Hope I could tell you something new :’D I haven’t watch that much of anime, but these are the ones I can confidently recommend c:
