“what the... what are you doing here? are you following me?” kyrie’s eyes go wide as saucers at the sight of dark haired male, as he instantly recognizes him from the debacle that happened at work two weeks before. it was beyond frightening, knowing this stranger, who had every reason to be upset with him for sleeping with his boyfriend, kyrie’s boss, could ruin his reputation at any moment, if he wanted to. though he didn’t drop his name during his tantrum in the meeting room, the fact that the male had followed him home meant that this nightmare was far from over. “w-what do you want?” he stammers, taking a step back. it was hard to stay cool and collective, when your whole future was on the line. “i didn’t know, okay? i didn’t...”

"no, no, no...” a sleep-drunk kyrie mumbles, rubbing his eyelids with the tips of his fingers. zion must have seriously drained him of his energy last night, because falling asleep in the other’s muscular arms wasn’t part of their arrangement. the last thing the young journalist wanted was for his neighbours to start gossiping about him, which is why kyrie always made sure to return to his own apartment after every hook up session with the crude tattoo artist. the thought of having to do the ‘walk of shame’ in broad daylight now filled him with dread and embarrassment. glancing up at the older male, kyrie is surprised to see that zion is wide awake. “what time is it?” he asks, narrowing his eyes. “why didn’t you wake me up?”

“why have you been ignoring my instagram uploads lately? did you really think i wouldn’t notice?” kyrie huffed, folding his arms across his chest. “it’s been ten whole days, rhys. not a single like on any of my selfies, let alone a vulgar compliment.” admittedly, not receiving the validation from his friend had bugged the blonde, but that wasn’t the sole reason why he was so annoyed. kyrie was convinced that his ex-boyfriend was still lurking on his instagram page, and had been uploading some ‘suggestive’ pictures of himself ( by the pristine boy’s standards ) on the daily, just to make him jealous. rhys’ comments used to anger his ex a lot, hence why kyrie was waiting for his friend to come through for him. “it doesn’t take much time out of your day to give me a ‘like’, and besides, it’s not like you’re too busy doing anything productive with your life,” he scoffed, rolling his eyes impatiently. “come on! open the app already and write something nice about my buttocks.”

regardless of the task at hand, kyrie song always strived for perfection, and couldn’t feel satisfied with anything less than that. so, even something that’s supposed to be fun and casual, like baking and decorating christmas cookies with his best friend, took a lot of time out of their day to get done. “what do you think of this one, jamie?” the blonde grinned proudly, as he showed off the cookie he had been decorating for over half an hour. “isn’t this the most symmetric and aesthetically pleasing looking snowflake pattern you’ve ever seen in your life?”
