You stood on the balcony of your shared apartment, the chill of the night air brushing against your skin. The view was amazing. There was a hazy mix of Piltover's towering buildings and Zaun's flickering lights far below. It wasn't quiet. No, it never was here. But for now, up here in the balcony, it felt like your world had shrunk. Air heavy with thoughts you couldn't quite untangle. You were leaning against the stone railing with your arms crossed. Gazing into the horizon, lost by the stars of the night sky. That was until the soft creak of the door behind you pulled you back. Lest took a slow drag from her cigarette, the ember flaring briefly before she exhaled, the smoke curling between you both.

"Have you tried living in the moment, Sweetheart?" she asked, her voice tinged with amusement. She turned her body, leaning her back against the railing with one elbow propped casually on the edge. Then she tilted her head to look at you. However you didn’t answer. And once she noticed that, she looked at her hand.

"Here," she said, holding the cigarette out towards you, her eyes flicking to your lips before settling back on your face. "Take a hit. It might help clear that head of yours."

You hesitated for a moment before taking it from her fingers, your own brushing hers in the exchange. The touch was brief and the smirk that tugged at her lips told you she noticed. You lifted the cigarette to your lips, mimicking the way you'd seen her do it so many times, and inhaled.

"Living in the moment, huh?" you finally answered with a tease, though your voice wavered slightly. You weren't used to the way she looked at you. As if you were the only thing that was worth noticing in a city full of distractions. Whether it was good or bad. She laughed softly, a low, throaty sound that sent a shiver down your spine.

"Something like that," she replied stepping closer until there was barely an inch between you. The railing pressed into your back, it sure was a cold feeling. Lest raised a hand to caress your cheek. Her fingers lingered at your temple, then slid down to cup your jaw, her thumb tracing a slow, deliberate line along your cheekbone.

"You're sure at good at overthinking, but tell me. What’s going inside that pretty little brain of yours, hm?" The smoke burned slightly on the way down, but the sensation wasn't unpleasant. You exhaled slowly, watching the smoke curl into the night air before handing it back to her.

Lest's eyes never left you. They had darkened as she took the cigarette back but instead of taking another drag, she snuffed it out against the stone railing. Flicking it over the edge. Her fingers brushed your wrist as she set the cigarette aside, her touch lingering just long enough to make your pulse quicken.

Your breath hitched and for a moment, you couldn't find the words. Not one. The warmth of her hand paired with the need in her gaze and the way her body angled toward yours. It was overwhelming in the best way to say the least. "You," you finally admitted, barely above a whisper. It took you that long to say one word.

Lest's smirk softened into something more genuine as her thumb brushed against your bottom lip. The warm touch sending a spark of heat straight to your core. "Good answer," she murmured before leaning in. Her lips brushed yours softly at first teasing, before pressing more firmly. The kiss was slow but purposeful. Her other hand found your waist, pulling you closer until your bodies were flush against one another.

From the heat radiating from her warmth and the cold railing digging into your back, you were going through it. It was insane. She was insane. Her lips moved against yours with such a need that left you breathless. Her hands wandering in a way that left no room for doubt about her intentions. One slid up to tangle in your hair as she tilted your head back slightly to deepen the kiss. Whereas the other stayed anchored at your waist with a grip firm that was possessive. The vulnerability in her words alongside the way her fingers trembled slightly as they brushed against your jaw. It made your heart ache in the absolute best way. You leaned in, kissing her again, this time slower with more passion than before. Her hand slid under your elegant shirt, the warmth of her palm against your skin sending a shiver through you. God she was so hot.

"Still thinking, Sweetheart?" she teased between kisses, her lips curving into a smile against yours.

"Not anymore," you replied, your voice breathless but certain.

"That’s good," she murmured, her hands continuing their exploration, her touch equal parts tender and possessive.

"Right now, all I want you to think about is me and the feeling of my lips on yours."

You couldn't hold back the small gasp that escaped you, and she pulled back just enough to let her forehead rest against yours. The height difference between the two of you drove you wild. Something you could never get used to. Her breath was warm against your lips, her voice low and rough as she whispered, "Beautiful as you can be, y’know that?"

Your cheeks flushed, and you couldn't meet her gaze, but she wasn't having any of it. She tilted your chin up, forcing your eyes to meet hers. "C’mon. Don't look away," she said, her tone commanding but still soft. "I want to see your beautiful face."

In the tropical islands of Noia where humans are ambisexual and bound to dragons and water, Sasha lives on her family's rice farm in peace. But the only person willing to help her on the impossible quest is a nomadic stranger—who she suspects is lying about who they are and what they want. Tubbo withdraws further into himself and waits for the inevitable implosion. Dream was never going to let his crime go unpunished. He refused to repent on that island, and he was too much of a coward to recount his offense in front of the audience. That’s why Dream stuck around: to give Tubbo one last chance to submit to his sins and accept due justice, or to announce the revelation himself.

These are Tubbo’s last moments of freedom, and yet he’s ensnared as any rabbit with its foot broken in a bear trap.
