usually, alyx was not one to party; but she had to learn how to maintain some sort of semblance of sociability. the invitation had come to her purely out of accident, she just happened to be at the right place at the right time; or the wrong place at the wrong time; a matter of perspective, really. at his words, she chuckled lightly before graciously accepting the shot. “you had me at hello!” she knocks it back. a hiss comes in response, the intensity of the alcohol hitting her. “i mean, typically, this ain’t my scene, but i guess even i gotta make exceptions.” trepidation fills her as she crosses the threshold. 

"Nice of you to show up to my party." Billy said with a smirk on his lips as he leaned in the doorway of his house. "Gotta do a shot to enter." He said, picking up a shot from the table by the door and handed it to her. "Didnt think you were actually gonna make it."
