she had stumbled upon the scene by pure accident, following a peculiar yet familiar smell. boards CREAK under her feet as she entered. nostrils flare as she notes the scent is stronger than it had ever been. whatever it was she smelled, it had to be in here. a low GROWL emanates from the back of her throat, unable to help herself. alyx moved about with a semblance of trepidation; after all, this could be a trap. indeed, it had been --- but not for herself. blue hues are CURIOUS as they narrow in response to seeing the devil's trap. she is cautious, for even one step closer would find herself trapped as well. the hybrid takes careful, considerate steps to the side, a HAND raising as she allows her power to tremble the earth. tiny cracks form in the floor, the trap BROKEN by her sheer will. "who did this to you?" she questioned, her eyes flashing red in the wake of her ANGER. she always had something, someone to be angry with, no matter the cause, but this created fury, unlike any other. people were not meant to be trapped, neither were young men such as this creature.

          He glances down at the devils trap scrawled on the floor and raises his brows.  “I feel very welcome here.”

usually, alyx was not one to party; but she had to learn how to maintain some sort of semblance of sociability. the invitation had come to her purely out of accident, she just happened to be at the right place at the right time; or the wrong place at the wrong time; a matter of perspective, really. at his words, she chuckled lightly before graciously accepting the shot. “you had me at hello!” she knocks it back. a hiss comes in response, the intensity of the alcohol hitting her. “i mean, typically, this ain’t my scene, but i guess even i gotta make exceptions.” trepidation fills her as she crosses the threshold. 

"Nice of you to show up to my party." Billy said with a smirk on his lips as he leaned in the doorway of his house. "Gotta do a shot to enter." He said, picking up a shot from the table by the door and handed it to her. "Didnt think you were actually gonna make it."
