Her uncle enters her room and the pale violet eyes flit over the man. She had seen him in her dreams before. She wasn't sure what it meant, but she was a little… Frightened. Not as much as Aegon scared her at times. Her brother was mean, she'd never admit it though. Her mother wanted them to be closer as if trying to push them together.

"Uncle…" She said softly in High Valyrian. Helaena would be a dragon rider soon, she knew that. She already felt a bond building with Dreamfyre. "Was there something you needed from me?"

Had he mentioned he was stupid? He knew that he couldn't make her understand that he loved her and only her, that it was just sex. She didn't think of sex like that. But, there was another part of him that did know, that there was no way they were going to work anything out, even if this had never happened, until it did happen. It had been two and a half years. He had broken up with her after two years, because of it. They had gone back, but nothing had changed. He hadn't fought hard enough to say no. He should have. He betrayed her. He knew that he did. "I know what I did was wrong. If the roles were reversed, I would forgive you. I wouldn't just refuse to listen to you!" Okay, so maybe he wouldnn't handle it well. He looked up at her and hated when he did and went back to not meeting her eyes. He could lie. He could. But, if there was any chance in hell, he couldn't. "No, but only wih her. It wasn't a long time though. It just started at the carnival. I haven't been lying to you for weeks. I love you too much for that. Please, you have to forgive me."

knowing david had slept with another female only brought tears to donna's eyes. she had repeated to herself over and over what could she have done differently. if she had just had sex with him then maybe he would have never done it. but that wasn't fair to her at all. it wasn't even fair to their relationship to treat it like that. donna loved david with all of her heart and she couldn't imagine the day she would stop. but it was over. their relationship was over. it had to be. how could it be saved after what he had done? she couldn't believe what she was hearing right now. he did what he had done, he betrayed her, he was the one that had cheated. why was she being put as the bad guy? ❝ you have to be joking, david. you cheated on me! you are the one who betrayed everything that we have built in the past few years only for what, a late night booty call? and now you want me to take you back as if nothing happened? i'm sorry but it doesn't work that way. you made your bed and now you're going to have to lay in it. ❞ tears were streaming down her face when she looked at him and she felt like her heart had become so heavy. ❝ answer me this, david. last night, in the limousine, was that your first time? ❞ donna had desperately wanted to know the answer to her question as soon as she had caught him cheating on her.

SHE MEETS VANCE'S GAZE FOR a split second, shrugging indifferently. « i'm a simple girl. » she places a soft peck on his chin. « nothing works for me quite like you do though, » she adds coquettishly with a grin before she notices sawyer's movement in the corner of her eye. rey is quick to act, one hand shooting out to grab at the knife the man pulls out, twisting it out of his hand. « nu - uh. weapons are for adults, not children, » she chastizes before locking her gaze on orlando. « and if you have a weapon on you you better drop it immediately or i'll let sawyer stab you too. »

there's a brief satisfaction in knowing the words have landed, one that only lasts a moment before his own features darken. “ fuck you. ” both hands raise to shove sharply at the other male's shoulders, any distance it offers between them instantly closed as he steps back closer. “ you have no idea what family is. just because i don't have to force her to stay around me. you let him go more than an inch and he'll realise you aren't cut out for any of this — you're a scare tactic, grimshaw. nothing more. ”

he knows he's going to have to get involved, that realistically it's only a matter of seconds as he accepts the bite of empanada offered to him. “ well, it's definitely not us. ” vance sighs softly, not when they're the two subjected to watching it, brown eyes studying the two men cautiously. “ does this seriously work for you? ” question can't help but tease, head nodding towards the brazen display of testosterone before his attention is pulling back to rest on reyna.
