So, My Friend Jochen is about Seb Vettel accidentally time travelling to the 1960’s and meeting his crush *ahem* hero Jochen Rindt.

This was inspired by an interview I remember seeing of Seb openly admitting that he has a crush on the late champion and how it’s a “shame” he never got to meet him in person. Well, now he can in my fic!…….when it comes out. No idea when that’ll be. 😅

I’ve already explained what My Friend Jochen is about here. But to briefly summarise: It’s a time travel AU where Seb Vettel accidentally time travels to the 1960’s and meets someone he never thought he’d come face to face with in a million years: His crush I mean hero Jochen Rindt.

Barefoot Seb is a silly idea I had based on an event that actually happened in real life where Seb was once seen walking around barefooted because his girlfriend (soon to be wife) Hanna complained about getting sore feet from wearing high heels all day and wore his shoes instead.
