There was nothing about this that felt right. And she wondered, not for the first time, why she had agreed to do this. Why had she believed herself to be capable of deceiving what was considered one, if not the one, greatest wizards of all times. But Dumbledore's words sound loudly in her mind, and the soft tone is such a contrast from the harsh yelling from her father that Maria chooses to focus on it. Let's the light timbre clear some of her nerves as she approaches the room he's in. The man at her side looks pleased, almost proud, of taking to his master another one ready to follow. And she hopes she can play the part, Maria's a good liar, growing in Slytherin, but she's also stupidly blunt sometimes.
The hairs at the back of her neck raise as shivers run down her body at the sight of him. And she can understand why Dumbledore is so concerned. She can feel the thick ropes of his magic, and knows it's nothing compared to the reality of it. Lord Voldemort is an imposing figure, and she swallows deep as she stares before lowering her eyes to the ground. Jaw tense before she speaks. "My Lord... I --I have come her to offer my service... and my loyalty, if you'd take me." and the words feel wrong in her mouth.
Everything feels like going against everything she's sworn to fight for, like going against herself. And she needs to remind herself it is for a reason, a greater good, as Dumbledore had told her. A sacrifice to make so that they could win to see another day. She doesn't stop to think if her blood status would be an issue. If Lord Voldemort would look at her and know, and feel nothing but disgust. She sets her jaw once more. "I would like to join your cause."

She tightens her fingers on the redhead's waist. Tries not to flinch again when Natasha starts cleaning the wound, but she can't help the glare she shoots her way. Nor the way her jaw tenses, teeth pressing together tightly before she breathes in deeply, closing her eyes for a second too long. It's always awful the feel of the needle piercing her skin, the thread crossing the wound. She breathes in deep once again before opening her eyes, settling on the focused expression of the redhead. A light hum leaving her ips in acknowledgment. She doesn't remember having discussed the details of this mission with Natasha, but Maria reckons she didn't need to for the other to just know. "It was." she shrugs unconsciously. Moving the arm Natasha was stitching and hissing when the movement pulls at the thread. "Our intel was... incomplete."
Maria isn't exactly wrong when she says it's 'just a scratch'. Granted, a bullet wound would never be just that, but Natasha has seen far worse injuries, on herself and others, and the fact that she's not speeding to the hospital currently shows the lack of urgency. But there's something ugly that curls in her chest when she catalogues the note of pain that is veiled in Maria's voice. But she can feel the director beneath her, warm and alive and it's enough to soothe the predator that wants to emerge. She looks over the graze with a critical eye and only gives a brief warning before she is moving in to clean the wound with an alcohol wipe. She's far gentler than she normally is ( ask Clint ), and she blows over the sting as she works. Once the area around is clean, she threads the needle and begins to stitch. "So... what happened? I thought this was supposed to be a surveillance mission."

A/N: i apologize in advance if they are ooc, i don't know how to write them.
"Come on, little buddy," he says while reaching out towards Nine; a reach of desperation that things would go back to the way it was before all of this.
"Stop calling me that!" Nine slaps his hand away and raises himself, using his mechanical tails to tower over Sonic. "You just assumed I'd go along with you no matter what! Did you even consider what I wanted?"
Sonic visibly flinches at the remark as he backs away when Nine takes a step closer to him. "I just assumed that after everything we've been through, you'd see the way things I do." He stammers over his words, eyes flickering towards the mechanical tails and Nine's expression. He pauses, a sudden overwhelming sadness entering him. "Just like the real Tails would…"
"I am real!!" Nine screamed at him. His voice has a lot of anger, but there is also hurt in it. He breathes heavily, his icy gaze staring Sonic down.
Sonic looks at Nine as though he is seeing him in a new light. He doesn't see his little brother in Nine, but someone else. Nine is not Tails.
He sees Nine in front of him, eyes blazing with fury. He is furious at Sonic, but he looks hurt by his words, with the way his ears lower down. He is hurt by the assumptions Sonic made. He thought he would be able to get along with Nine — and they did. He saw the Tails he knew the more Nine opened up to him. And a part of him clung onto the Tails that he saw in Nine.
Shadow reminded him several times they were not his real friends — just versions of them and he didn't want to believe it because he misses them dearly. He clung to any kind of familiarity, falling back into old habits and being far too reckless with his decisions and careless with his actions.
He didn't see Nine's desire to build a home in the Grim with him. A new place where they can start over. He didn't see how Dread's obsession with the Prism Shard grew and grew until he cared for no one else but his own (and the shard's) well-being. He didn't see how Thorn Rose clung so deeply to caring for nature to the point the others would get hurt because of it.
Or maybe he did, and he decided not to worry too much about it because they were his friends. Friends who attacked him at first glance. Friends who he befriended but could still feel their distrusting gaze at the back of his quills. Friends who he had to fight to grab the Prism Shards. Friends who do not know who he truly is.
"Just not your real friend," Nine continued. He lowers back down to the ground and turns away from Sonic. He looks defeated with the way his shoulders drop and it makes Sonic feel awful for making Nine feel that way. "What did you think would happen to me if you brought your friends back?"
Sonic doesn't respond. He stays silent because he doesn't have an answer to his question. He doesn't know the answer to Nine's question. It's a question he tries not to think about while he was trying to bring back Green Hill. Because he doesn't want to think about this version of his friends disappearing from existence once everything is restored back to normal. Sonic can't bear the thought of him being the reason why they all fade out from existence. He wants all versions of his friends to live.
"I really think you'd grow to love them as much as I do," he says instead, but his tone sounds sincere.
It was not the answer that Nine liked because he turned towards Sonic quickly. "And that's exactly your problem!" His voice grows louder, more furious. "You just jump into situations with no idea about the outcome." His mechanical tails rises as he turns his body towards the prism shards.
The mechanical tails power up and Sonic knows what is about to happen next. "Wait!" he shouted, but it was too late.
Everything around him explodes, and he gets thrown back because of the impact. He feels his ears ringing but he can't think of it now, not when he looks up and sees Nine about to walk into a portal while carrying the Prism Shards that could fix his home.
He is careful when standing up, coughing away the dust he inhaled. He takes a step forward and Nine turns his head towards him. "We can still make this work, Nine—" His voice trembles as he offers a hand towards a version of his brother— "Trust me."
"Trust you?" questioned Nine with a scoff, and Sonic's heart breaks when Nine faces the portal once again. "The only person I can trust is myself."
Nine leaves while the portal closes behind him and Sonic is left alone inside the mountain.
Sonic stares at the empty space where Nine left, then he looks at his trembling hands. He takes a step forward, and he stumbles to the ground, his legs too shaky to cooperate with him. He takes shaky breaths as he continues staring at his trembling hands, not even noticing another presence in front of him.
"I warned you," Shadow growled, but it was muffled to his ears. He sounds frustrated—furious at him. It sounds like he's gritting his teeth with too much force. "I warned you about Nine. I told you he couldn't be trusted!"
Sonic covers his face with his hands while moving his legs closer to his body. Not now, please, he wanted to tell Shadow, but he feels his throat closing up.
"I told you they weren't your real friends!" Shadow continued as his eyes burned with fury. He stares at the ghostly pattern of the Paradox Prism while his fists are clenched tightly.
"And now the shards are gone, Sonic." Shadow faces his rival. Sonic hasn't moved an inch, his body still trembling while shaky exhales escape his lips. Shadow frowns at his lack of response and he moves closer to Sonic.
Shadow stops in front of Sonic and Sonic looks at Shadow with tears in the corner of his eyes. "I—" He suppresses a sob, immediately covering his face with his hands— "I know."
Shadow is unsure of how to respond to that, finally noticing how exhausted the blue hedgehog in front of him is. His quills are still disheveled from the fight earlier, and his body continues to shudder and shake. He could barely hear Sonic's quiet gasps of sobs as though he wanted to keep his crying a secret from everyone but himself. His body is weighed down from fatigue, and his movements are sluggish even when the motion is little.
"I should've—" Sonic shuddered, ears lowering to the back of his skull— "You were right, Shadow. I should've listened to you." Sonic wipes away the tears, but more keeps coming out. His eyes were watery, but he could see an outline of Shadow in front of him. "Nine wasn't— he's not Tails. None of them are like my real friends."
He looks down at his trembling hands, not wanting to see Shadow's expression. "Any chance at bringing Green Hill back is gone… my friends, they're…" He trails off while the tears fall at the palm of his hands.
Shadow sighs. He is still frustrated, but he suppresses it for now. He kneels in front of Sonic, placing his hand on his shoulder even when it feels awkward. "Breathe, Sonic." His voice is lowered to a soft murmur, and it almost sounds comforting. "Take deep breaths."
Sonic looks at Shadow, opening his mouth to respond, but Shadow shushes him. "Just breathe for now, Sonic, and clear your mind. You're not in the right headspace to speak yet."
Sonic nods, and he follows Shadow's breathing, exhaling and inhaling a couple of times. They feel the ground shaking in a concerningly amount, but Shadow isn't bothered by it. His gaze is set on Sonic and Sonic only, carefully instructing him as Sonic breathes alongside him.
Sonic feels his quills relax while his shoulder loosens. His hands don't tremble as much when Shadow holds it, giving little squeezes when he thinks Sonic needs it. Sonic shakily exhales as he slumps over and his face would've fallen to the ground if Shadow wasn't gripping his shoulder.
"Thank you," Sonic breathes out once he believes he's in the right headspace to speak. He looks at Shadow and there's sincerity and genuine appreciation in his eyes, and a small yet soft smile.
Shadow nods and he still doesn't let go of Sonic. He keeps his hold on Sonic's hands, although the one on Sonic's shoulder moves down, so both hands now hold Sonic's.
Shadow tightens his grip on his hands. "It's nothing," he grunted, as he finally averted his gaze away from Sonic. He sounds stiff and awkward with how he says it, but Sonic appreciates it all the same.
He leans on Shadow, head resting on his shoulder while hesitatingly wrapping an arm around him. Sonic thought Shadow would pull away from him at that moment, but he stayed. He felt Shadow move closer and returned the gesture, pulling him closer. They stay in the same position for a while, letting the warmth in their bodies calm each other down.
Sonic smiles as he closes his eyes. "I appreciate it, Shadow…" he whispered to the quiet space, only something for the two of them to hear. "I know you were upset about what Nine did, but…"
Shadow sighs while gripping Sonic's hand. "You relied on someone who bore a striking resemblance to your brother. While I do not appreciate you not listening to my warnings, I understand why you would not heed them." After all, how would Shadow react if he saw a version of Maria? Would he stay by her side the entire time and worry every time something bad happens to her? He wouldn't know until he experienced it himself.
"Shadow…" Sonic leans away to get a better look at Shadow, smiling softly when he sees understanding in his expression. Although there's no doubt Shadow is still upset about Nine's betrayal.
The mountain shakes and a crack forms between them and that is when they realize the current state of the mountain once they look away from each other and around the area. The surrounding mountain is crumbling, pieces of rocks floating as their surroundings quite literally tear themselves apart.
Shadow's eyes widen before he growls, knowing who caused it. "It's destabilizing…" He unwraps his arm around Sonic before pulling himself and Sonic up. He still keeps his hand holding onto Sonic's. "Whatever Nine's up to, it's causing this world to fracture."
"I don't understand… Why would he—? Nine wouldn't—" Sonic stops himself from continuing further at Shadow's steely gaze in his direction.
Shadow sighs, closing his eyes for a brief moment before softening his gaze as he opens his eyes to look at Sonic. "Are you in the right headspace to move?"
Sonic wants to laugh in response— he almost did, but Shadow looks worried about him and he falters. His smile almost falls, but he keeps it back up, although it feels less sincere compared to before.
"I'm fine, Shadow," he answered instead. He steps away from Shadow, although the firm grip on his hand indicates that Shadow won't let him be far apart from him. He wants to tease Shadow about it, but knowing that Shadow won't let him do things alone gives him a comforting thought. Or Shadow doesn't believe him.
Either way, Sonic jumps and grins as he starts stretching his legs with little movement that he can, with Shadow still holding his hand.
Shadow stares before huffing as he looks at the ghostly pattern of the Paradox Prism. His eyes narrow, already forming a plan in his head. But first, they need to get out of Ghost Hill or they will decay alongside it.
More cracks on the ground started appearing and Shadow wasted no time interrupting Sonic's routine as he began skating away from the falling rocks on top of them, dragging Sonic along with him.
"Hey—!" Sonic exclaimed as he stumbled, but he was able to get his footing on the ground to quicken his speed. He easily keeps his pace with Shadow, dodging as many rocks as possible.
They jump as the decay barely reaches them. Shadow grabs Sonic in the air, wrapping his arms around him as he takes the fall for them. Once they land on the ground, Sonic gets off of Shadow and he watches as the mountain disappears as though it never existed.
"We need to leave this world," Shadow tells Sonic as he gets off the ground. "It's not safe here anymore."
Sonic nods, not taking his eyes off where the mountain is supposed to be. "You don't have to tell me twice."
They sped off, dodging floating rocks and shards as they tried to escape from the decay, but the decay is reaching them faster, the ground disappearing under them. They fall once again, landing back on the ground.
Sonic groans as shakily stands up. He turns to look for Shadow until his eyes land on his ghostly friends. Sonic stops and falters, his expression falling as he looks at them. His ghostly friends repeat the same phrases over and over again.
He walks closer to his ghostly friends, hoping for even a glimpse of their real selves to come out.
"I thought we went over this. They're not real," Shadow tells Sonic as he moves closer to him. He reaches out to touch his shoulder in reassurance, but he stops when Sonic turns to face him.
"Maybe I can save them… I have to try," Sonic says as he turns to face his friends once again, moving closer even when he knows he won't be able to do anything. Sonic already tried touching them, but his hand only passed through their bodies.
"No." Shadow stops in front of him, preventing him from moving closer to his friends. "They can't be saved. Think about your real friends." Sonic doesn't listen, tilting his head to get a glimpse of his ghostly friends, but Shadow angles his body so he can't see them. "The ones who still have a chance." Shadow leans closer to Sonic and Sonic steps back, getting more upset at Shadow. "If you want to help them, we need to get out of here."
Sonic shakes his head as he pushes Shadow away. His expression softens as he looks at his friends. "Tails…" He reaches out as Tails begins to fade. "I'll see you again, little buddy…" Sonic closes his eyes and turns away when the rest of his friends fade away from existence.
Sonic faces Shadow and ignores the way his brows are furrowed, Shadow's gaze set on Sonic. "Let's get out of here."
Shadow nods and they both sped off. They run as far as they can while dodging the floating rocks and palm trees, jumping on top of the shards to get closer to the tear in reality. They grab onto each other as support, using any kind of momentum until they use their spin dash to gain more speed and finally escape Ghost Hill.
They fall as they reach the void, holding onto the nearby floating shard so they don't get thrown back farther. Sonic exhales as he lands not so gracefully compared to Shadow. They watch as the gateway to Ghost Hill explodes, sending a blast of wind.
The nearby floating shards all get blasted away, and one of them collides with the shard they landed on, causing Sonic and Shadow to grip onto the shard to prevent falling off as it continues to fall. Eventually, they are thrown off when it hits a nearby shard.
Sonic and Shadow grab the floating shard, climbing on top of it as they collapse. Sonic groans as he gets up and his eyes widen in the aftermath of the explosion.
"If this happened to Ghost Hill, this can happen to the other Shatterspaces…" Sonic frowned, worried about the other versions of his friends but still had doubts Nine would do something like this.
Shadow walks beside Sonic. "Nine betrayed you and left us to die," he reminded him. Shadow clenches his fists in anger. "And he will pay for it."
Sonic looks at Shadow, pressing his lips into a thin line. He doesn't want Shadow to hurt Nine, whether he looks like Tails or not. He still wants to make things up with Nine, but even he's not sure if Nine would talk to him or turn him away.
Sonic feels upset about the situation, and what Nine did. He sits down near the edge of the shard, covering his face with his hands as he groans in frustration. "Ghost Hill is gone!" The ghostly mirage of his friends is gone. Their home is gone. "The shards are gone!" He is defeated. He can't figure out a way to fix things for once.
Sonic feels a comforting touch on his shoulder.
"If knowing you has taught me anything, there's always another way."
Sonic's ears perk up as he looks at Shadow. "Wait, was that a compliment?" he asked with a grin, and Shadow looked away with a barely noticeable tint on his muzzle.
"It won't happen again." He stares ahead, his gaze flickering over the gateways that are beginning to decay. "Nine is out there, hiding in one of the shatterspaces."
"Hm…" Sonic thinks it over until he remembers his previous interactions with Nine. He bounces up on his feet. "The Grim, of course!" he exclaimed as he leaned closer to Shadow. "There's another gateway and a fifth shard!"
Shadow backs away as he mulls it over. "That explains why he wasn't able to rebuild the Prism."
A floating shard passes by between them quickly as Sonic barely dodges it if he didn't see it by the corner of his eye. "Woah!" He backs away, heart hammering over his chest.
Shadow looks at the floating shard that interrupted their conversation, then at Sonic with a barely concealed worried expression. "Can you remember where the gateway is?" he asked instead of worrying further. Finding the shards is more important.
"Of course! Nine brought me there with his Shattercraft." Sonic bounces over to the left side, looking over the gateways before heading towards the right side. "It's this way, come on!"
Sonic jumps at the floating shards as he makes his way to the gateway while Shadow follows behind with the use of his air shoes to travel. They continue, with Sonic constantly turning and dodging any incoming shards. He runs to propel himself when the distance between the shard he's on top of and the one he needs to get on is far apart from each other.
Sonic stops for a brief second to take a breather since they've been traveling for a while. A shard goes towards Sonic's direction and Shadow takes notice of this.
"Watch out!" Shadow shouted as he propelled himself towards Sonic, wrapping his arms around him just as they barely dodged the shard. Shadow stops at a nearby Shard, still holding onto Sonic.
"Pay more attention to your surroundings," he murmured to Sonic, holding him a brief longer until he let go.
"Thanks, Shads!" Sonic smiled as he elbowed Shadow before bouncing away.
"Don't get used to it," Shadow deadpanned as he followed Sonic.
Sonic chuckles. "I wouldn't dream of it."
They continue their way to the gateway of The Grim with no problems. Sonic stops in front of the gateway, standing on a shard while Shadow lands next to him.
"We're here." He gestures to the purple gateway. "The Grim."
Shadow looks at Sonic. "I can't pass through gateways."
Sonic frowns when he looks at Shadow before looking to the side of the gateway, noticing tears on the gateway. "There's always another way."
Sonic smiles as he gestures for Shadow to follow him. They jump (or, in Shadow's case, hover) over the shards until they land on top of the gateway. "We can get you in through here."
Shadow hums and nods. "That will do." Sonic prepares himself to jump in, but Shadow stops him by grabbing his hand. "We need a plan, Sonic."
Sonic turns to Shadow and then to the gateway before sighing. "I can try to reason with Nine."
"Reason with him?!"
"Just let me try." Shadow is not convinced by this as he frowns. "Please," Sonic added with a bit of desperation in his voice.
Shadow huffs as he crosses his arms. "Fine. If that doesn't work, he's mine."
"No," Sonic shakes his head. "He's ours," he corrected him.
Shadow smiles a little. "Good."
Sonic and Shadow turn to the gateway. Sonic holds his hand out to Shadow and he hesitates as he takes his hand. Shadow gives a gentle squeeze and he looks at Sonic while he nods.
Sonic grins back at Shadow before turning to the gateway and jumps in with Shadow by his side.
A/N: this was originally just supposed to be just sonic and shadow being sonic and shadow, but it got a little intimate so i just decided to roll with it and make it pre-relationship sonadow.
i wish i could say this is my first time writing sonic, but i wrote day 11 (which is about movie!sonic) before this so skdjs— anyways, i hope you like this! i fell off a bit near the end since i tried to connect it to the canon events but with some little changes.

❛ are you always so competitive? ❜ - yelena/maria | @silencedrage
Maria fights the urge to sigh and roll her eyes, a hum leaving her lips instead as she turns to the other, who, she's sure, shouldn't be in her office right now. " My most charming quality, I'm sure." she doesn't bother asking how she got in, or even why she suddenly decided to pay a visit, Maria's been getting enough of those ever since the russian ex-assassin ( she's kind of hoping no more will be popping out of nowhere ) managed to track her down. " What did Barton tell you this time?."

it's not my fault you fell in love. - nat/maria | @silencedrage
The scoff that leaves her lips is angry, bitter, and it gives way to a smile that lacks any warmth, any joy. She won't admit how deep Natasha's words cut, to herself nor to anyone. And her face is as much of an icy mask of indifference as it's always been when she's on duty ( or much any moment of her life ). She crosses her arms above her chest, and hopes it doesn't seem as much of a defensive position as she feels it does. She doesn't need to defense herself here, from Natasha, nor any of this... mess, their arrangement has turned to. And she doesn't know why the redhead needs to bring up feelings, when everything was perfectly fine as it was ( she's perfectly fine pretending it doesn't bother her when the assassin flirts with everybody, she's more than fine pretending she didn't just throw some sarcastic comments about it... Maria doesn't do jealousy, she doesn't... she doesn't have the time for it ). Shaking her head, with her mocking smile still on her lips, and ice on her eyes, she spits " you're so full of yourself Romanoff..." in love... Maria could almost laugh at it ( if it didn't left a weird, uncomfortable feeling in her chest ). " Didn't you heard? I don't do feelings."

She can't help it. The worry that settles deep into her brain, a sinking feeling in the pit of her belly. Even when she knows it's useless, unnecessary. Definitely not something she should entertain. Not about Natasha, not when she knows she's fine, and more than capable of handling things on her own ( she's been doing it for a long time, that isn't about to change ). But Maria can't help it, not since everything went down with the Avengers, not since learning of the still operative Black Widow program... definitely not since finding out Natasha went back to it to put an actual end to it. It must, should, be weighing heavily on the redhead, but Maria doesn't bring it up. Her fingers drum against her desk, the papers scattered there long forgotten. She should had gone to bed hours ago, probably, but Maria's never been good at stopping, even less when she's alone and she can't bring herself to feel upset about it when she can hear Natasha's breathing on the other side. She hums, fighting the scoff that wanted to come out instead, she wasn't expecting the redhead to tell her anyway, and knows that whatever it is, she's maybe better off not knowing. "He's doing fine, better ---Stark has the best physicians working with him, he was moving his legs a bit more last time I saw him." She looks at her screen, and closes her eyes tight to shield against its light. Her head falling back as a sigh leaving her lips. "I think he'll start walking again soon, and you know, he's still... Rhodey..."
MARIA HILL (@vrake) said "come on, there's something you're not telling me."
There's plenty that she's not telling Maria, and that's by design, even if neither of them like it. But that's a straw man and Natasha purses her lips, wishing that things didn't have to be so complicated. It's been at least two months since she's seen Maria, catching a brief glimpse of her after she'd brought down the Black Widow program, but she obviously couldn't linger. Being in Wakanda makes it a little easier to make undetectable calls to her, but they're infrequent. It's not even as though this is the longest that Natasha has gone into hiding, but maybe a part of her faith has been shaken after watching the team fall apart as they had. While the world's governments squabbled over slices of power, Natasha knew it was only a matter of time before a threat arose that would require the reunion of the Avengers. But still, Maria doesn't need to know about her and Steve's plan to break onto the Raft and break out their teammates until after they carry out their mission. "How's Rhodey doing?" she asks instead, deflecting from the topic at hand.

There's a brief moment where she figures she should be surprised by the other's actions, thinks she should be more upset by them but Maria finds she isn't either. Instead, she finds herself weakly jerking away from the hands trying to hold her still, mostly out of the sheer pleasure of annoying Natasha just a little more, partly, because even if she won't admit it, it hurts like hell. She was lucky, really, that she moved in time and the idiot's aim was slightly off. But she still grunts when Natasha moves. " You'd think the Ex-Assassin would know it's just a scratch and surely there's no need to make such a fuss about it." her voice is tense, even if Maria finds herself relaxing just a little under Natasha's weight. Her uninjured hand moving instinctively to the redhead's waist. She can feel the blood sliding down her arm, knows the wound actually needs closing even if she won't die from it. But she still pauses at the other's words. It's true no one from med bay would dare question her... but even then, she sighs, letting her head fall back. " Just stitch it up Nat, I know you'll ask questions anyway... that I might or might not answer."
[ 𝐰𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 ] : NATASHA ROMANOFF tends to MARIA HILL's wounds. (@vrake)
She has to sit on Maria's lap to pin her down long enough to get a look at the bullet wound in her arm. "Stop. Squirming," she grits out as she carefully pulls away the ripped fabric from her arm. It's a flesh wound, blood steadily trickling from the injury but not life threatening. A few inches over, and the bullet would have landed solidly in Maria's chest, and they'd be having a much different conversation now. "You'd think the Director would understand the need for proper medical attention," she drawls out as she leans over to grab the first aid kit that she has stashed in nearly every room. It never hurts to be prepared. "Want me to stitch it up or do you want to go into the med bay tomorrow? They probably won't have as many questions as I will."
