#⚜ headcanon [ amoret ]

you know i've had more romantic ships here lately than i have ever rping and i love it (and if anyone wants to play with romance a bit more just hit me up!!!)!! and it's made me think some of my characters aren't exactly young/teenagers and it's very possible they might have relations before so here are my thoughts on my ocs!

alv

so with alv i can see he's had a few relationships maybe three or four. the first one was a childhood friend who was an elf as he didn't really leave the forest. but the ended up not working out in a romantic way but still remain friends!! she even married and now has children. i can also see alv have totally fallen for a few humans but it never quite works out because in the end he will outlive each and every one of them. he's had heartbreak over this. and there are many years in his life that he hardens his heart to loving again especially mortals but some women just have a way to squirm their way into his heart once more. that and sometimes he just gets lonely so that is a possibility too.

amoret

her big point in the story is losing her fiancé who she loved in every way one could love another even if they were young. a true romeo and juliet feeling for her. she is a woman, though, and she does have needs. i can see her probably have one night stands and such but tries her best not to have emotional attachments. but i can see eventually since it has been a decade someone maybe letting her love again and not losing that love.

hildr

in most instances hildr has not been in any relationships prior to interactions. she is a princess and is expected to have a higher standard and purity. but that doesn't mean she stays like that or craves to have a knight in shinning armor to sweep her off her feet. and quite possibly if i make her a verse where she is older and in an arranged marriage with children that will obviously change!

he's been much too isolated to ever even fancy the idea of a relationship with another. the only person that ever did was that gross evil fae who cursed him. so yes he has zero experience even less so around women in general aside from servants and tutors and such.

so just to get a post that has more info on amoret!

she lived in a medium sized village close to the capitol. her mother was a seamstress and worked on attire for nobles and royalty. she followed after her mother learning this skill as well. she was a childhood sweethearts to her be fiancé who i still need to name. but they were very much in love. an illness came over the village and he died on the day they were to be married.

a couple years after this she sought out the guardian of the night went through some trials and earned her blessing. which is the dark magic and necromancy. she practiced her new magic for a few years as well as using the scythe for her main weapon as well as a small sword and shield.

returns to her village tries to bring her would be husband to life but he's just a shell. it's not him and never will be him. grief overtakes her and her new magical abilities get out of hand as she raises more dead and they attack the village. she's able to calm her self and desummon the dead but it's too late. she's attacked her village, her friends and family. she's banished from the village.

she travels around trying to find a purpose in life but doesn't find much. she's a hired mercenary on occasion and keeps her dark magic a secret from most.

she has a very deep respect for the dead and others in general. she is kind but isn't the easiest to warm up too. she's still grieving her lost of her love and now her home and family that she can never see again. she sometimes will work for a simple meal if someone really needs help or assistance getting from one place to the other.

i'll expand on this more when i'm able to and get it on the carrd but for now a very quick summary of her!

i was on tiktok the other day as one does and someone had a slowed down version of you are my sunshine and it just made me think of amoret so much! i could see her singing this song to herself after she leaves her village... i actually love the idea that she's a good singer soft, gentle type of voice. but these lyrics especially made me think of her and her lost loved:

The other night, dear As I lay sleeping I dreamed I held you In my arms When I awoke, dear I was mistaken So I hung my head and cried

i love amoret so much my little creation inspired by different things. a tragic character too but one that i can very much see one day finding love again.

so thanks to @scandinave i've decided that amoret has a skeleton horse named mister bones! is it a silly name? yes. but it's also fitting and we love mister bones. amoret came across him during her wanderings and can summon and unsummon him at will. she will usually ride him when she's alone. once she gets close to villages and towns she will usually walk by foot allowing mister bones to wander where he likes. she knows her skills are feared by many so doesn't use her necromancy even that for a horse around others if she can prevent it.

and btw i'm totally picturing the stalhorses from totk for her horse. he would look very similar to this. though probably a better saddle one that has pouches and such on it and an actual rein on it.

I want to make a post about this in more detail later but... if amoret hadn't lost her lobe he still doesn't have a name but one day! Anyways if she hadn't and started down her to find the guardian od darkness she would have been a seamstress. Just like her mama. She would have had a nice simple life and made amazing art through her clothing for nobility and maybe royalty.
