( i just wanted to say that i'm super grateful to be able to be here && write with you all and that you all decided to give me a chance, i've been interested in writing jayce since i first watched arcane last fall but i was incredibly insecure about my ability to pull this off because the world is so unique and multifaceted and i didn't have the advantage of being a league player before i watched the show. but through writing jayce i've managed to fall even more in love with him as a character so i'm super grateful for you all sticking with me through this developmental period of his and giving me a chance at this. <3 )

You went to visit the Nijiue siblings for one reason or another. Since Iroha wasn’t home, you thought she would be with her siblings. You had checked every room except for May’s. Since it was the only room left, it has to be where they are right? As soon as you opened the door, you saw four kids. A messy brown-haired girl with the underside of her hair dyed blue; wearing a burned, torn, stained oil white dress. She was bruised and had burns on her body.

There was a girl with brown hair that faded red, she was wearing shorts and a tank top with no tattoos. She had a lot more bruises and cuts on her body than the others. The boy had his shoulder-length hair split into two colours, brown like the others and green. He was the least injured of the four. He only had a few bruises and that’s it. The last girl had brown hair and was in a green dress. She was bruised just like the rest and had a bleeding nose. She was also the only one hiding from you. The red one got up and ready to fight as the blue one stood in front of them, shielding the rest from you. These kids were the siblings, but how did this happen?

it's a sentiment that jayce actually finds pretty sweet; shoulders visibly relax as he exchanges a shy glance with the other. he's not sure why he's suddenly bashful .... he figures it's because he's felt the same way about viktor for a while, but has never had to face it in this way before, where the other actually felt the same way about him. there's nothing he can do about the sudden lump in his throat, either.
