Nascido como Kim Ga On em 1878, durante a Dinastia Joseon, a família de nobres tinha forte influência entre os cargos de alta patente da família real, Ga On chegou a um posto de confiança ao lado de um dos príncipes antes que começassem os sinais da invasão do Japão no país. Tinha 32 anos quando um espião japonês lhe sequestrou para tomar o seu lugar na posição, foram poucos herdeiros do trono que conseguiram sobreviver as artimanhas sujas do país vizinho para tomar o poder, e Ga On não sobreviveria de forma alguma. Uma paixão pareceu lhe salvar do destino agonizante da morte, aquele homem parecia saber como mantê-lo vivo por uma eternidade, qualquer coisa que fosse possível para mantê-lo vivo e próximo o suficiente para vê-lo evoluir. Não, o espião não era um vampiro e muito menos imortal, mas ele conhecia um e o levou até Ga On que não tinha ideia do que estava acontecendo, lhe foi servido um líquido pastoso e vermelho, chegou a sentir uma breve ânsia, mas lhe foi garantido que era algo que lhe salvaria, imaginando que tentariam mata-lo envenenado, não fez muitos questionamentos quando bebeu aquele pequeno cálice, por mais nojento que pudesse parecer.

Porém foi como despertar de uma sessão de tortura, Ga On sentiu o seu corpo inteiro doer, cada célula do seu corpo parecia feri-lo como pequenas agulhas, para então despertar em uma casa e cheio de fome, demorou alguns minutos para perceber que a sua fome era de algo que nunca lhe trouxe qualquer interesse na vida: sangue. Aquele líquido viscoso e de um vermelho intenso lhe foi entregue mais vezes em uma taça de cristal, o homem era estrangeiro, pele muito branca, uma aparência quase sem vida e olhos bem vermelhos, uma barba rala e roupas de primeira, tecidos finos e corte clássico europeu, deveria ser algum lorde de algum lugar da Europa, ele lhe servia aquele líquido pelo menos três vezes no dia, ainda que a sua fome parecia insaciável, Ga On conseguia deitar o seu corpo sobre a cama, as dores sumiam aos poucos e a energia parecia voltar, mas ele percebeu que não conseguia dormir, e que aquele cômodo sempre ficava escuro, não tinha como abrir janelas e as portas viviam trancadas.

Depois de algum tempo preso naquela casa, a figura do espião que lhe sequestrou surgiu no campo de visão, ele parecia feliz em vê-lo bem, ainda que diferente. A conversa não foi muito amigável, após descobrir a sua verdadeira natureza, ele percebeu que não poderia voltar a sua vida de antes, teria que manter a história de sua morte a sua família e entregar para os deuses a possibilidade de manter o seu país em segurança. Ga On abandonou o seu nome, o seu título e o seu clã para se tornar Timothy, o sobrenome ia mudando com o passar do tempo. Primeiro foi Kim, depois partiu para Lee, chegou a ser Park, mas finalizou a sua jornada como Cho. A cada década vivida, adquiria mais conhecimento e se adaptava a nova vida, seu documento mudava assim como a sua idade, sempre com 32 anos e uma vasta experiência, cartas de referência, conhecimento, mas sempre sozinho. O vampiro que o transformou ainda mantinha contato, mas se acostumou a viver por conta própria, assistiu a morte de todas as pessoas que se apaixonou, que odiou, que criou laços fortes de amizade, não era bom ser imortal e odiou aquele japonês por tê-lo lhe dado aquela vida miserável, mas não tinha muita opção.

A sua chegada a Arcanum foi pela necessidade de mudança, documento novo e nova profissão. Agora tinha uma habilidade quase incomum com computadores, programação, entre outros tipo de tecnologia, se juntou ao clã vermilion com a certeza de que não era leal a ninguém, se não a si mesmo. Uma década tinha se passado, uma nova vida estava sendo estabelecida ali, esperava ao menos não ter que fugir novamente já que haviam muitos semelhantes a ele, Timothy sentia que agora ele poderia criar laços sem medo e torcia para que não terminasse tão cedo.
