I headcanon Spider!(Y/N) meets Clark/Superman on accident before Batman does.

Just, imagine. Your heading to a part time job, super excited about it! Get on the bus, and wait... Then fall asleep..

The bus driver kicks you out at the Mertropolis bus station. Not good! You don't have enough for a ticket back to Gotham so you managed to get a part-time job at The Daily Planet, as the coffee runner! Simple enough?

Bumping into a meek Clark Kent, who is shyly thanking you for his cup of joe'. Then you, eagerly wanting a new friend in a strange enviorment, (again), asking about what he's writing.

"Wow Kent, didn't expect you to snag the new girl."

Lois teased light-heartedly. "Oh, ha-ha it's nothing like that. They're a good friend."

He shrugs it off as Lois shakes her head. "Sheesh, a lot of fella's make a LOT of trouble with that word. Good luck Smallsville."

Blinking in confusion, you were suprised she didn't notice you as you walk up beside him. "Huh... Wait, you think were good friends!?" You beam in awe at Clark, happily spinning around his desk chair. "Clark! You should of said something sooner!"

You let go, now thoughtful. "Hmmm, we should do friendship bracelets then.. I mean, I did make one with another friend of mine.. OH! I got an' idea-" "-Guh.. I-I think I.. Need to rain check.."

"Hm? What's wrong? You look dizy... Vomit-y."

I know there's different versions of how Batman met Superman. Personally, I perfer The Animated Series Ver!

I would like to think, Robin and Nightwing asked her to get Superman's autograph as a casual comment if Spider(Y/N) went to Mertropolis.

So during her "stay" at the other city, she'd often patrol and help a bit when she could.

Would totally meet Supes' on acident.

"Wow! Hello! Why is your city so much cleaner? I like your cape! Reminds me of Miguel-!" You try to descalate the situation.

You happily greet him, babbling as your buddy glared at you. You shrug at Batman's gaze, giving him a slight push. Herding him close to your side incase of any... Bad, course of action, between you and the supposed "Man of Steel".

Superman paused at the greeting, after thrown into a wall. He expected more hostily from you as well, since he read most crime-fighters were, due to the Gotham Gazette. Yet you seemed more occupied with keeping the Batman away from HIM.

Using his x-ray vision, he peaked underneath your masks.

"Bruce Wayne..." He mumbled under his breath as Batman shoved you to the side. Glaring at the super-powered male, "You peeked.."

"Hm? He did what?" You weren't paying attention, more focused on the destruction and damage. Frowning worriedly, knowung your "unexpected vaction" would meet it's end.

I can see Spider!(Y/N) being pen-pals with lot's of heros and vigilantes. Possibly even anti-heros and villians?

Carefully web-shooting the civillians away, you keep squint as you watch them dance in sync. Slightly envious, before shooting a glance at Batman.

He collapsed as groups of Music Meisters pawns held him down. Grunting as he tried to move away. You used your web to toss them away quickly. Huffing as you glanced down at your comrade.

Even with the ear-plugs, you couldn't help it!

As if spotlight shone on your cue, you sang encouragingly. Smiling underneath your mask, you hold out a hand to him. He grasps it as you slowly pull him up.

We all know that THEE Batman has a certain type.

But this is for fun, so, (。ゝ(ェ)・)-☆

Overall, I stated perviously, it's more a comedic pairing that has many set-ups to be serious.

Watching Catwoman flee once more, you walk to Bat's side. Standing beside him politely, before.. Slowly... Reaching out your hand to his. Holding it firmly with no caution.

The vigilante glares at the action, yet you don't let up as he tries to shake your hand away.

You giggle as you watch your arm swing with his, your laughter becoming louder as he finally gave in.

Batfam relationship depends on if Spider!(Y/N) came before or after the Batfam was formed.

Personally, I perfer it before. I feel like it would show growth in Bat's and Spiders dynamic.

I sorta wanna explore it, but if ya'll got ideas Im open to it.

A playwright and Emanator of Enigmata who wants to make the world more like one of her shows (really taking the phrase "all the world's a stage" literally huh) She's revered for her storytelling and her status in high society as a patron of heros.

Personality

Eccentric and dramatic, Klio usually follows her heart over her head. She's very emotional and rarely seen being calm or serious. At worst, she's childish with a dangerous amount of power at her fingertips. At best, she's playful and happily uses her status to uplift others.

The poll with the most votes was Group P (the Death By Glamour one) with 794 votes, followed by Group W (735, Metal Crusher) and Group T (Spear of Justice vs Bergentrückung, 601).

With the least votes is Group C (275), beaten out by Group N (282) and Group L (318).

The average turnout in a poll was about 438 votes.

None of the Uwa! tracks qualified, with none of them getting over 10% of their group's vote. Temperate was the most popular.

Oh! One True Love and Oh! Dungeon were also both eliminated, though Dungeon scored much higher than One True Love.

Death Report qualified, with almost 4x the proportion of votes than Live Report.

In a great injustice, Can You Really Call This A Hotel, I Didn't Receive A Mint On My Pillow Or Anything was eliminated, but Hotel was not.

Spooktune was the only one of Napstablook's house songs that qualified.

The most dominating performance was by Death By Glamour, which was over 615 votes over any other track in its group (77.5%).

The closest race (other than the two ties) was between Reunited and Snowdin Town, by 0.6% (2 votes). However, both qualified.

The closest race that actually resulted in one track qualifying and one not was between the tie of Good Night and Oh My..., and Long Elevator, which was kicked out by 2.5% (9 votes).

Speaking of the ties, there were two within groups, and two in the Danger Zone across multiple groups.

The aforementioned Good Night and Oh My... both got 68 votes or 15.4%. In Group F, It's Raining Somewhere Else and SAVE The World both got 182 votes (32.2%), both winning their group.

Interestingly, two strange occurrences happened. Groups M and U both got 329 votes, and their third place tracks, Reunited and Hotel, both got 53 votes (16.1%). Similarly, Groups B and Q both got 352 votes, and their third place tracks Oh! One True Love and Respite both got 46 votes (13.1%).

The highest-placing tracks by percentage that did not qualify were Spookwave, which got 17.3% but came 4th in its group, and Oh! Dungeon, likewise with 16.2%.

相思��续入梦来/"Thoughts and memories entering my dreams" by 远皓ZIL

[三嫁咸鱼/Thrice Married to Salted Fish , Season 1]

The music and lyrics of this song perfectly balances the blend of humor and heart in this story. The verse starts off kind of cheeky, but the emotions mount as we build towards the chorus. That line about Lin Qingyu donning his wedding robes again -- a scene that made me weep while reading the novel -- is like a punch to the gut. Thankfully the song and the story ends on a happy note.

山月随舟/"The world that follows" by 大C

[残疾战神嫁我为妾后/After the Disabled God of War Became My Concubine]

This is supposed to be about a maimed war hero biding his time to take revenge on the unscrupulous enemy prince he is forced to marry, but thankfully the real story is better represented by this sweet ballad. Despite the trials and chaos of the main characters' circumstances, they find a kindred spirit in each other and a promise to build a peaceful life together after the war is over.

真情错给/ "True love given in error" by 匀子, 漆柚

[泾渭无间/Clear and Muddy Loss of Love, Season 1]

This heartbreaking duet is attempting the impossible: to capture the emotional devastation of this epic novel in just a few minutes. "Love/ falls into a drop of tear, there is no one to blame, but me who has given my true love in error." A heartfelt love has crumbled into the cruelest betrayal, but instead of anger, there is just sadness, longing, and helplessness.

随月/"Follow the moon" by 海疼er

[游龙随月/You Long Sui Yue (both seasons) ]

I love this song so much that every time I hear it I instantly forgive the parts of the audiodrama that I enjoyed less. The lyrics tell a story of meeting and getting to know someone with whom you can share the rest of your journeys and your life. It sounds like a theme song for a wuxia drama, the song that should be playing while they ride off onto their next adventure together.

[诟病/Morbid Attachment]

I'm still torn between feeling like this song is a bit too raw and under-produced, or breathtakingly intimate with its focus on the main vocals. It's written for a lost lover whose name is hidden in the lyrics and melody, a lover who doesn't know or believe in this, even though a part of him desperately wants to. This song is filled with the regret and yearning that comes out of such a relationship, vulnerable but hopeful.

This duet featuring two of my favorite voice actors is basically fulfilling one of my CV fandom dreams. Their voices work so well together! The calm, modern sound of the song perfectly sets the mood for the journeys of (relatively) ordinary people who manage to have some incredible drama.

First Flight - Henry Jackman (Big Hero 6 Soundtrack)

either 18 or 9 years old me would still be fascinated to see the scene where Hiro took his first flight with Baymax. i would still tear up and feel myself shiver when watching the score. the tune really feels like a good sip of courage and excitement. i think when talbott finally learns how to fly in his animagus form, he would listen to something like this. the first time he soar, the first time he saw the world from above.

the title speaks for himself :D however i thought this was talbott's song until i realize the lyrics is not really talbott. the lyrics says that the singer will no more believe in the person who left them, but we know that talbott is carrying the people who left him (his family) in his heart :'DD still a good song, nonetheless

i like to think that this song is the song my mc would dedicate to talbott the moment she learned his secrets. the moment she paid empathy. the song to lift his spirit. "everything's not lost, talbott, at least you have me now!" kind of encouragement. oh and the hidden track's lyrics are also nice. but life is for living, it's somehow simple yet deep. life is for living, for dreaming, for breathing, for reminiscing.

OKAY i might interpret this song differently from what it was supposed to mean but this is a truly beautiful song. the moment i learned that talbott is into poetry, the literature student in me quickly approved.

for me, the lyrics "take me to the lakes where all poets went to die, i don't belong and my beloved, neither do you" rather sounds like "take me to the lakes where all poets went to die, but we don't belong because we are yet to die. i still want to write poetry for you."

I KNOW it's not the exact interpretation but it sounds to me like that. talbott winger, a wizard poet, admits himself as a poet and would like to make a trip to the lake where all the greatest poets have gone to, however, he proclaims that he went there not to die, and he would tell his lover that both of them did not belong to that lake. they can still continue living. talbott would still write love poems to his lover. and his love will be eternal within those writings.

another song that speaks for talbott himself!!! 🎉 how can i mention talbott without his animagus ability and his love towards transfiguration. unlike flying solo, this song fully (from both title and lyrics) describes talbott very well. change shape? he can change into an eagle. change shape? just the sentence to describe his favorite class. i thought that the lyrics also speak for him the moment he decided to open up to mc and consider mc as his friend. he got somewhere to start, this might be the time that he's sure.

i read the datamine prophet about how talbott's love letter would look like after being exclusive with mc :) one of them says you'd think I'm better with words, but you always leave me tongue-tied. simple yet sweet. and this song is just the right company when he write those sentences into paper! :)

Moana medley — VoicePlay music video

Combining the powerhouses of Disney animation and writer Lin-Manuel Miranda was almost guaranteed to produce a hit movie in Moana. So it was no surprise that these former theme park kids loved it, and wanted to put their own spin on those catchy tunes. With a stroke of good timing and a social media boost, this medley became a bit of a runaway hit for VoicePlay, as well.

Trivia:

According to Layne, the decision to do this medley was one of VoicePlay's least contentious. He suggested it, and the other guys all agreed. Usually, there's at least a little hesitation or dissent.

Everyone's wardrobe was purchased from The Gap, because Layne wanted the aesthetic of the video to resemble the clothing store's fun, carefree commercials. (They all look so comfy.)

Eli lip syncs to the bass line for part of "Shiny", but the vocals are actually Geoff on a second track. (He can and does cover the occasional bass part during live performances, though.)

The public release of this video was delayed by three weeks so that it could premiere on Yahoo! Music, which exposed VoicePlay to a much broader audience. It was also featured in an article on the Yahoo! Entertainment blog.

The Facebook upload reached 20 million views in less than a week, and 40 million in just five months. (Based on social media comments, a lot of those views were kids and their parents watching repeatedly.)

It took a little longer on YouTube, but they reached 10 million views there in seven months.

Constructing the set involved Earl moving "half a ton of sand" twice. Good thing he's got those big muscles. 💪

Since Rachel lives in Nashville, they scheduled filming of both this video and their "Attention" video for the same weekend to minimize the amount of travel needed.

This medley was released as an album on music streaming services, with each song being an individual track. The audio version also includes bonus dance remix versions of "Shiny" and "Where You Are".

The YouTube description assures us that "[n]o coconuts were harmed during the filming of this video." It doesn't mention what became of them after filming, though.

It also includes an intentional mistransliteration of the Polynesian lyrics: "Taco belly, belly… Oh, hey, a hockey leaguer, we know the way!!! (Mmmmm… Tacos.)"

Fan artist Leon King made a drawing of Earl, Rachel, and Layne as their characters based on one of the Moana promotional posters.

Series One There is no official Series One soundtrack, so I'm eternally grateful to the fans who took the time to extract parts of the score from various episodes. The pieces aren't perfect but they're still great, and beats the alternative of having absolutely no soundtrack for the season.

The unreleased music below, Fight at the Garrison, is from Episode 1 Friends and Enemies, where d’Artagnan confronts Athos (and meets his future brothers!) at the garrison. The theme starts around 0:59, after the classic scene of the boys crossing ⚔️ at the table.

[And before that, if you listen hard enough, you can hear Athos say, "Don't make me kill you over a mistake." 😉]

Series Two and Three The show got a new hero theme after Paul Englishby took over from Murray Gold as series composer. Variations of The Musketeers can be heard in most of the compositions for Series Two and Three, from exhilarating (They Are Here Somewhere, Refugees) to inspiring (The Ravine, Series Three Finale) to poignant (Training the Village, We Refuse to Die).

Would have loved for the theme to be longer but hey, it's an official release (yay!) and there's always the replay button. [It also makes a great ring tone.]

My thoughts on Sonic 2

YOOOOOOOOOO I just got out of my first viewing of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (cuz we got it early in Germany) and I wanted to share my thoughts fresh of the press and piping hot.

(Don’t worry, I put all the spoilers below the thingie.)

One thing I can say without spoiling anything: I laughed when I saw the three posters in the theater. (translation as follows)

Knuckles: 2 times as strong

Sonic: 2 times as fast

Tails: 2 times as fluffy

Also, there is no second post credit scene. But the movie was such a blast that you’ll probably sit through them anyway just in sheer awe of what you have just witnessed.

- Nice how they made a new Paramount ring logo rather than just reusing the one from the first film

- Clever way of showing Eggman’s ingenuity with his Rube Goldberg utilities and traps.

- Applause for that Shiitake joke.

- How much you wanna bet that those obvious humans in silly suits, who are apparently pals of Knuckles, will receive zero context or explanation? *TWO HOURS LATER* Yep, just as I thought.

- They actually referenced Da Wae, Jeff Fowler you madlad

- More scenes of Sonic’s room are always a good thing

- More Sanic and fart jokes *insert George Takei Oh my here*

- Times they could have used the drowning music but didn’t #1

- So Longclaw really did die... that’s sad.

- Nice reworking of an innocuous detail from the first film into a plot point

- UPTOWN FUNK LET’S GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!11111111

- Sonic made the dance scene good, great and awesome, and then Tails made it outstanding and amazing.

- One of the very few criticisms I have with this movie is the beginning feeling a tad rushed. Like, it would have been nice to see a flashback to Tails being bullied and feeling like a lonely freak rather than just having him tell us this. I suppose the comic tie in is supposed to fill in the gaps, but it’s most likely not going to be released here.

- Also, Tails canonically watches Sonic as he bathes.

- I’ll say it now, the cabin scene is my favourite in the entire movie.

- “Kids, there’s nothing more cool then being hugged by someone you like. But if someone tries to touch you in a place or in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable, that’s no good.”

- With just one word, heck not even really a word, Knuckles manages to make Jim Carrey Eggman look like a bore by comparison.

- Knuckles’ father here was a better dad in one scene than Locke was throughout Penders’ entire run.

- Sonic has the most Gen Z energy I’ve ever seen.

- GUN are total shits.

- Tails wins by doing absolutely nothing.

- Didn’t this film have a hedgehog in it? I could have sworn- oh there he is.

- Sonic is Jesus now.

- Times they could have used the tunes of concentrated anxiety but didn’t #2

- For a movie called Sonic Vs Knuckles in Japan there wasn’t as much bad blood between them as I thought.

- Times they could have made Honest Trailers’ prediction come true but didn’t #3

- Sonknux shippers are going to meem this scene to heck I just know it.

- Knuckles yeets himself into oblivion.

- Stone continues to be a simp.

- Nice trick with the missile Sonic.

- ♫ Sonic Heroes! Sonic Heroes! ♫

- The return of the dance off! YAAASSSSSS!!!!

- If I had a euro for every time Robotnik has turned himself into a god and Knuckles was the one who took that power away from him I’d have three euro. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened thrice.

- OMG, the Chaos Emeralds are so TINY!

- Wait are they actually... Yo, Super Sonic looks incredible!

- As a huge Sonic the Comic fangirl, that bait and switch they pulled was one of the most hilarious things I’ve ever seen.

- “You finally had all seven Chaos Emeralds together, and you threw them away?!” “Exactly!” “Eh, that’s fair.”

- I take back what I said before, I'm having a hard time if I like this scene or the cabin scene more.

- SONIC CALLED TOM DAD I CANT EVEN

- Nice callback to the baseball scene from the first movie. Great to see how much this boy has grown.

- Idris Elba wasn’t lying when he said the Knuckles ice cream scene was great.

- This movie in general has some of the funniest lines I’ve ever seen.

- I love the updated classic sonic sprite with the blue arms. It looks so good.

- Shadow being the one to be featured in the post credit scene didn’t surprise me. I’d already been spoiled on the fact that another Sonic charecter was featured in it, and he, Amy and Metal Sonic were the only candidates I could think of.

- Doesn’t this raise some plot holes with the events of the first movie? Because Commander Walters says he knows about Project Shadow, yet he had no clue what was going on when Sonic caused that EMP with his chaos energy.

- Shadow looks really cool though.

- I’m wondering how the 16 bit credits in the third movie are going to work, because unlike Sonic, Tails and Knuckles, he doesn’t have a classic form and his design is a bit too complex for that.

- Wondering how they’ll adapt his mess of a backstory.

- Also, it’s so obvious that he wasn’t given any lines so that could leave it a surprise as to who will voice him.

So in summary: I’ve found my new favourite movie.

Y/n busted down the door to her room, and ran outside. She ran through the hallway to the hangout area (what do you call it😭), where she saw the rest of her classmates with their devices who were all yelling.

"Oi, dumbass," Bakugou approached Y/n with his phone. "Why the hell ain't our damn WiFi working?"

"Why are you asking me?" Y/n asked, sounding stressed. "I'm having the same problem!"

"It's 10:30 pm," Kaminari sobbed. "10:30 pm and the WiFi isn't working."

"I hate the dinosaurrr," Sero blubbered.

"Even Bakugou isn't sleeping because of the problem," Mina cried, hitting the floor with her fist in emotional pain.

"Do you know what's happening?" Todoroki asked around as he too, was holding his phone, but nobody answered him, since they were too busy either crying, raging, or both.

"Alright, we get it, you should all go to sleep," Aizawa walked in with his hands in his pockets with a tired expression on his face.

"MR. AIZAWA!" The class screamed, tripping over their feet in an effort to get to him.

"MR. AIZAWA OUR WIFI ISN'T WORKING!" The hero students all wailed in unison.

"A tragedy, really..." Tokoyami shook his head, sighing.

"My music..." Jiro said quietly.

"My online hero notes..." Deku sniffled.

'I was supposed to spam Endeavour's inbox with gay pictures...' Todoroki thought.

Y/n was seething, as she had her hands clenched tightly on her phone. 'WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MY GODDAMN FANFICTION?!'

"We put a WiFi timeout on so the WiFi automatically turns off at 10 pm," Aizawa yawned, as the students' cries faded in shock.

"Excusez moi?" Aoyama broke the silence.

"You guys don't..." Aizawa paused to yawn. "You guys don't go to sleep otherwise. You just stay up all night doing whatever on your devices."

"YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!" Y/n, Kaminari, Mina, and Sero shouted.

"Technically, since you live in the dorms now, we have rules, so we can and will, if it means you'll be able to get more sleep and be more alert during training," Aizawa said, making Aoyama collapse.

"Monsieur... Monsieur, you're killing me," Aoyama held his stomach as he laid down in a fetal position.

"You'll live."

"But Sir, how will we be able to use our devices?" Iida asked.

"The WiFi will automatically turn back on at 9 am."

Kaminari let out a series of shrill screams as Sero made a cross with his arms. Mina gave Aizawa a bible, and Kirishima handed out bottles of holy water.

"Sir," Y/n said to her teacher. "Sir, I'm going to have to, uh, persuade you. Lucky for me, I specialize in persuasion. I once convinced my dog to bring back a stick."

"I don't think that's persuasion-" Aizawa cut himself off when everyone put their devices on the tables and couches.

"So," Y/n pulled out shaded sunglasses out of nowhere and put them on. "Let's begin. Shall we?"

It was quiet for a moment before Aoyama started clapping. "Very dramatic... trés chic!"

~ 3 Hours Later ~

Y/n was laying the ground with life support (aka her classmates) beside her.

"Are you okay?" Todoroki asked.

"Let me get some water for you," Kirishima got up.

"Make that... holy water," Y/n groaned.

"Who knew teenagers relied on WiFi so badly? The power it holds..." Aizawa sighed. "Enough to make a teenage girl fall to the ground after 3 hours without it."

"I didn't fall, I got attacked by gravity."

"You're having withdrawal symptoms," Aizawa said.

"For what?"

"WiFi."

~ The Next Day, In The Common Room (Is that what you call it someone please tell me)~

"Hey, Bakugou, I know how-"

Bakugou fake coughed, "I'm allergic to your stupidity, Y/n, go away."

"No, listen, I think I know how we can use our electronics without WiFi!" Y/n said excitedly. "This is a scientific breakthrough!"

"How?" Bakugou asked, intrigued, but still skeptical.

"A SIM card."

~ At A Random Store That Sells SIM Cards ~

"What the hell do you mean they're sold out?" Bakugou slammed his hands on the counter, talking to the frightened cash register employee. (What do you call them again-)

"W-well, uh, sir, um, we didn't get the chance to restock yet s-since the trucks broke down..." The employee cowered.

"FUCKING-"

"Okay, Bakugou, that's enough socializing for you today, let's go back to the dorms," Y/n grabbed the yelling boy's arm and dragged him out of the shop, and they made their way back to the dorms.

~ At The Dorms ~

"Where were you guys?" Uraraka asked.

"We were trying to buy SIM cards for the class, and-"

"Wait, everyone in the class?"

"Yup!" Y/n nodded, before correcting herself. "Well, everyone in the class except Mineta. God knows what that boy would use it for."

Uraraka and Y/n shuddered, when Yaoyorozu walked up to them.

"Oh, hey, Momo!" The two girls said.

"I have these for you two! The whole class, actually!" Momo handed them both two small cards each.

"Oh my god," Uraraka said in disbelief.

"SIM CARDS! THANK YOU, MOMO!" Y/n hugged Yaoyorozu who smiled and hugged her back.

"How much does this cost?" Uraraka asked.

"Oh, you have to pay monthly. But don't worry, it's on me," Momo gave a closed eyed smile.

When she opened her eyes, she saw Y/n and Uraraka kneeling before her, fanning her with a giant leaf.

I love the fact that the contrast of Russia’s soft voice and the intensity of the instrumental actually works. It fits him so well, which is funny considering so does Light My heart, which is a very different song from this one. Wanna give him a hug man.

Pleasant. Whoever is in charge of the flute is once again, doing god’s work. The melody grows on you after a while, it certainly did for me. The guitar solo...god it’s such a calm song but I feel like I had too high expectations.

39:Pukapuka ★ Vacation - Japan, Germany and Italy

I love it. My guys are just vibing at the beach. I love how the gist is basically Germany struggling to keep up with an Italy song and Japan just Cannot Do This Today and he produces his own vibe and he and Italy vibe (THEIR VOICES TOGETHER IS SO UNEXPECTEDLY GOOD??) and then Germany also produces his vibe and then they all mix and they all vibe together and it’s honestly an adorable song.

Vibing hard with the strings and though a little slow for my liking, the chorus makes up for it with how pretty it is. A cool intro to his character. Beautiful summary of his feelings.

The fact that I didn’t realise this wasn’t Spain’s va really shows that I don’t listen to his actual song enough to tell the difference. Anyway, I actually enjoyed this one more than his actual character song (it’s fanmade lmaoo) and the chorus is easily more striking for me.

I love how it’s presented as them actually singing it that’s adorable pls. (Where tf if Lithuania’s character song? Man has a lovely voice) The chorus is easy to remember and it’s altogether really wholesome. I wasn’t expecting Russia’s entrance (Why can’t these guys have one nice thing??) and his entire Thing at the end is a shame because otherwise it would’ve been a lot higher.

Anyway, guess who fell in love with Italy for this song alone . It’s like a love song but also a tourist song (you could say that about literally any of them i’m just biased because i read aws a few days ago) I'm not really into the voice with the instrumental (i just dropped a raspberry on the floor :( ) It’s a sweet song, just not that memorable for me.

Who on earth decided it was a good idea to make a character song 17 minutes. I love the melody a lot and i wish he was singing for most of it because there are like, 3 instrumental sections in the song which are great and well-orchestrated but needless. The lyrics and meaning...are truly something. The moment when all the character’s insight is in the songs alone. I still can’t grasp the meaning of it all. Depressing as hell man.(lmaoo what if i write my dissertation on the meaning of white flame where I dissect the song and what it means for the character ahaa jk unless…)

One of his catchiest songs. Literally sounds like an opening in the best way possible. Had the chorus stuck in my head for days and the message is swag too.

THE hype song. The opening synth makes me giddy every time. Definitely prefer his voice alone rather than with everyone else’s. Maybe it’s the fact that it’s a good song where screaming works that I prefer it to any of America’s songs. (THAT CHORUS THOO??) Kinda shocking that he plays chess. I completely expected these vibes from Denmark but the quality of the song was a surprise.

21:Ah, Legendary Class ☆ The Awesome Me Highway - Prussia

I think I’m genuinely crazy for enjoying Atsushi Kousaka’s singing voice as Prussia. I just feel really happy listening to it and reading the occasionally dumb lyrics that match perfectly with his character but not the instrumentation. The contrast is hilarious. The opening scream and the ending ‘Weeeeest’ get me hyped and the chorus sounds really decent. Glad my entire family doesn’t know Japanese and just thinks I like heavy metal. Wasn’t surprised that most of his songs are just him praising himself with the occasional compensation.

20:Ephemeral Flowers - Saki (another bonus)

Have cried several times about this. Everything about the melody and the lyrics encapsulates the raw emotion of the situation. It’s not just limited to America’s feelings either. Reading the lyrics while listening to the song wasn’t a good idea at all. I love it so badly, the chorus is simply one of the most bittersweet melodies I’ve heard in a while. If ephemeral flowers doesn’t invoke a surge of emotion in you I’m ending whatever relationship we may have.

Okay this one is actually a bop. I was skeptical at first because of the synth but damn the blend between synth and instruments was just perfect. I like how Kaida made China sound really excited here it was really cute

Any song with Prussia is an immediate win. Both voice actors are incredibly talented (the way Takano’s voice just?? Drops??? In the 7nth verse?? Sexy as hell. ) A hella earwormy chorus too. 2 sisters loving their brothers in 2 different ways is what a lot of people take from this song, but I’ll probably go over why I don’t think it’s the case in a different post.

Something about the instrumental and lyrics gives me tragedy vibes (digging the electric guitar). Onosake does this song justice. The big question that is more evident in this song than ever is who France is talking about? A random woman? A tourist??? I find it unlikely he’s talking about himself or to the listener (actually that may be it uhh). Something about it seems so tragic, and for me it ties to the Bientot episode. I love this one.

I’m probably gonna get mauled for this, but I prefer this to Iceland’s other song idk. The melody especially in the chorus is so goddamn pretty idc what anyone says. I guess i just wanted a song where Iceland’s voice was the main thing?? Because he has a really pretty voice kudos to his Asakura.

Both of Hong Kong’s songs are amazing but I’m ranking this one lower because I can straight up only remember the chorus ( which is really fuckin good btw). Not a fan of rap in general but it works in the song and I definitely enjoy it. Fast-paced and a fun ride.

Rat movie vibes. God this song is so magnificent in so many ways. HIS VOICE . THE VIBES . THE INSTRUMENTAL. The instrumentation is brilliant, the chorus is so lively and wonderful i just. I can tell how much effort went into this song it captures his vibes perfectly. Everything a France song should be. The change near the ending oh my god just take me. The KEY CHANGE THE ENDING NOTE???? The only thing I’d change is the ending note lasting a little longer but the entire song as a whole is literally chef’s kiss

Do I even need to say anything? Deadass slaps so hard and shows another side to his character ( Also the flute solo?? Hello??) I love the constant referring to the moon in both his and China’s songs, both for different reasons. Very fast-paced and I’m here for it. Brilliant metaphors and an amazing instrumental.

Deadass? Catchiest song hetalia has ever produced probably and the character had 9 LINES AT MOST. THIS MF SHOWED UP IN 2 EPISODES AND HE GOT 2 BANGERS (the chorus jesus christ) Words cannot express my love for this song without praising the hell out of how good the melody is and the swag as hell beat. I know all the lyrics putting this out there rn. God it's so good man. These songs boosted my love for Hong Kong tenfold btw. That ending string section has me by the throat and I’m not even mad. What a king honestly.

1:The Fragrance of Early Summer - Japan

Why don’t the newer character songs get recognized? Everything about this song is stunning. The melody is so enchanting and the entire mix of the stringed instrument (dunno what it’s called) and the masterfully talented voice actor are literally ethereal. It’s a gorgeous and soothing song that should definitely be talked about more. The lyrics don't have the emotional depth as White Flame (let's face it, the amount of INSIGHT in Russia's songs can't be topped by anything else), but it's so beautiful to imagine. The instrumental is actually very simple compared to Aiyaa 400 years or Dream Journey, but it's the simplicity that makes it so good?? The lyrics are simple, simpler than most of his songs I believe, and for some reason, it works really well. There's an air of calm, peacefulness in this one song. It absolutely deserves more recognition.
