{ ♪ } -- Arabella had gathered a lot of habits over the years. Travelling was something as familiar to her as breathing. Between semi-yearly trips to both Italy and Japan to see loved ones (affordable thanks to her parents being well-off, of course) and her own frequent wanderings, airports and train stations felt warm and welcoming. 

   Since she and Sanji had gotten together, she wound up starting to put off her trips in favor of spending more time at home to help him. Her family understood, thankfully, but it still tore at her. Finally, the cook had been able to convince her to go. A month long trip, split in half between the small towns of Italy and the Japanese country side. The time spent with her family was long overdue, and she was overjoyed to do it... But she couldn’t help the pangs that came with missing her home and her love.

   Bella had made very sure that Sanji knew when her plane was arriving... She’d done her best to give him as much information as she could. As soon as she was able to have her phone on and working again, she’d begun texting him. It was hardly a surprise to see him waiting there for her. Despite the fact that she’d been prepared for it, tears sprung to her eyes and she broke into a run. Completely forgetting her suitcase by the conveyor belt, she rushed to him and leaped up, practically tackling him in her joy. 

     “I’m home! I’m home, and I’ve missed you so much!”

   She couldn’t keep herself from laughing even as tears spilled down her cheeks. Urgent kisses were pressed to his forehead, his cheeks, his lips. Arms remained wrapped tightly around his shoulders, not even stopping to consider that there was a possibility of her falling. He wouldn’t let her fall, after all.

{ ♪ } -- They danced more often than she would have ever expected. It was a pure joy she would never trade for the world. Being in his arms was enough to make her smile, feeling safe and at home. As they spun together, she giggled and let herself relax completely.

It wasn't until she noticed how they stopped that she looked up, blinking in quiet surprise. That was when he twirled her again and dipped her down. Her face flushed and she gave a little squeak of surprise. She was only further surprised when she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss.

Bella purred against his lips, unable to keep the smile away. Even as she nipped at his lip, giggling a little as she did.

@xamassed​ whispered:  He could have waited until he returned home to show her, but it was hard not to want to show her right away. A message would ping at her phone, the picture inside showing two small, ratty kittens eating a mound of shredded chicken on a plate. Then, a second later: ' I didn't think they'd come back after I found them yesterday. What do you think I should do with them? ' ( sanji )

UNPROMPTED

{ ♪ } -- She blinked at her phone, not anticipating a message from Sanji. He was on his way home, wasn’t he? However, when she opened the message and saw the photo of the kittens, she gave an audible gasp and immediately started typing out a response. 

     [The poor dears!]

   His question already had an answer in her mind, and she was bound and determined to see it through. Her fingers flew across the digital keyboard as she tapped out her answer.

     [Bring them home! We can take them to the vet. Even if we don’t keep them, we can make sure they’re healthy and fed before we take them to the Humane Society or try to find them a home! Shou would love some kittens to be a grandpa to, and I’m sure Patriot would love some playmates.]
