i fully support the mentally ill + hospital thing, but i think it should also be acknowledged that being mentally ill and dealing with mental illness doesn't excuse mistreating friends or people who care about you (and idk if you've been mistreated and that's why you're tired but,,that's an accountability thing for the people who did/didn't mistreat you)

okay so 1st of all i 100% agree with that statement and i think that we don't talk abt it enough, and that sometimes ppl use their issues as an excuse/way to be literally shitty

however i feel like i need to explain that the whole quote is from this video, and it was used in a trend jokingly calling out ppl who simp for "problematic" characters (which i do, constantly) and that's why i was laughing abt it. i need to come clean abt that
