Some headcanons I have about my ver. of WooWoo that I will inevitably draw:

Though his suit hides most of them, he does have a good number of tattoos, made with specific ink that doesn't run out as fast and is a bit more resistant to the serum he takes.

My ver. of Wolfwood has this uncanny knack to sound the dumbest wise man to ever exist on the mortal coil. Like, he truly just ends up saying shit sometimes.

He's less inclined to walk a straight path if he finds the untread path interesting. However he won't go out of his way to do so, more likely to tread an overgrown walkway than wander into the woods. Yfm?

Wolfwood in most of the aus/verses I have are with Kelpy (misplacedreporter), but main and polycule are with Nyx (breathofcosmos) and her three main cast characters (same goes for Leggy Eggy).

the confused double-take.

you realize it with an "oh, wait." as if you've stumped yourself on a problem that a fifth grader could solve blind. you realize the target of all your love and it confuses you. why? how? when? where? more importantly, THEM? you're confused. you blink, and blink again. you realize it and you can't stop realizing it. you realize it and it's all that consumes you. they're your life, your love, your soul, your heart. you don't know when, or how, or anything about that, but… you'll have to face the music one day, but for now you can be baffled by the cacophony that somehow makes sense.

some things that are canon about wolfie's universe ( either thru talking to @breathofcosmos or me deep diving the info )

double dollars are worth ROUGHLY the same as a two dollar bill (or just two dollars in general, if not a little above it). meaning blondie over there is worth as much as bill goddamn gates in a wanted bounty.

wolfie and meryl don't bicker AS MUCH, but still get into routine bickering fits over truly the most asinine of things. like why he couldn't just cut his hair if it's bothering him, or why meryl is following them around when she could die and being met with 'it's my JOB'. stuff like that.

re: the hair. yep! my wolfie has longer hair that he keeps tied back in a loose ponytail. this applies to every verse, and he's oddly stubborn about it not getting cut.

he's younger than his tri98 self but not as young as his tristamp self. i'd put him at around mid-volume 6 age, which in my brain seems like it'd encompass about 4-6 years since the start, so he's around 24-26. if not a little older due to weird time shit that's never explained.

it would be funny if you called him shades (hiyoke) or some variant of it. he'd laugh and run with it.

wolfie is a bit of a mish mash mix of all his counterparts. and again, wolfwood lives here.

a couple of things about my wolfwood's main verse & his main vash, meryl and millie

his age is going to be a little younger than what i originally had, because my main verse is tied to @breathofcosmos and all the force we've put behind our connections is prior to julai. at least, in stampede. they are currently their younger selves, but... a little different.

wolfwood is a touch more solemn than most others you'll find. he's less likely to get annoyingly sarcastic than he is to at LEAST first see if you're not talking out of your ass. he doesn't have time to play games, not after being around blondie for so long.

calling him "wolfie" is forbidden unless you're close, because that's what vash calls him when he's being silly and what meryl calls him to get his attention. "woowoo" is on thin ice but he might answer off and on to it, especially if you're his meryl or vash - or one of such that he feels somewhat close to. "nicky" is... dangerous territory. the safest bets are "wolfwood" and "nicholas".

he only smokes when he's on edge. which, surprisingly, not that often. however, he'll smoke packs through after being nearly shot to death.

another note: fuck off, wolfwood lives, both of us have already said so.

ik that there's no water but, hear me out: swimmer's body with enhanced muscle from experimentations.

due to the way he was "enhanced" due to experiments as well as taking the serum so much, he speaks in his low register with occasional shouts on purpose. if he speaks loud for a long time, he has a chance to make his throat bleed for a little while (a day) to a full two weeks and cough up blood a lot.

re: the above. only select few know this, and while it can be fun for your muse to find out one day, by default the only person (because there's no way she Wouldn't know w/ her naturally high insight into people) who would know without asking him about it is MILLY. (millies, i love u.)

he has several tattoos that were made with resistant to wear ink, as well as being tailored to ignoring the HEALING FACTOR of a serum drink. he learned the hard way that the serum fucks with tattoos. it's not pretty.

his tattoos are as follows:

1. a small black phoenix curled around a blue moon that trails from the back of his neck and the head of the phoenix is curled around the moon which rests on the base of the front of his neck. 2. "some by virtue fall" is tattooed in block letters on his right forearm on the outside of his arm. 3. "silence makes cowards" is on his left arm on the inside. 4. a purposefully red "flower" is the last one he has, and canonically he got it after his meeting with those on the last ship with vash. (tri98/trimax applicable, idk what's going on with tristamp yet.) it rests next to where his heart is. don't fucking LOOK at him.

i subscribe to the idea that he NEARLY bit the dust in the '98 anime, and vash and the girls actually managed to save him. how? let's plot. but he survived that, and he has since then gotten sweeter around them in his own way. he also may or may not have become a bit more chaotically headstrong, knowing that death can't be that bad if he has these three by his side.
