TRP Aesthetics & formating has always been a well-guarded secret within the World of Warcraft RP community. This guide serves to break down that gatekeeping and give everyone access to the tools to make their TRP in whatever cool way they want!

It's been a long time since I realized my first guide, so this one serves as not only an updated version for all the new tricks I learned, but also a connection to further resources which have come out since then.

This guide will also be actively updated with Further Resources when new guides and tricks come out by other creators.

Symbols! Dare I say the face of Aesthetic TRPS! There are two kinds of symbols: the symbols you can simply copy/paste easy-peasy & then the ones that require a special symbol to activate!

When using ANY, make sure to include this ㅡ symbol somewhere in the line or it will appear as a box.

Formatting is a bitch. THANKFULLY, we got some tips & tricks here to make it easier for all of you! This section will be going over gradient text, empty 'race' slots, headers, spacing, additional information and all that funky stuff that just makes it look nicer. Who thought moving text over or changing it's size would make such a difference!?

Okay, so you want to do something like this?

You're going to want to go to this website: https://www.stuffbydavid.com/textcolorizer

Put whatever text you wish within the box and the colours you would like. Copy paste the BBCode selection into your TRP. Every 'color' must be turned into 'col', every set of these brackets [ ] must be turned into these ones { }, the # & = must be erased and = must be replaced with : . It is a long process, but it won't show up unless you do this.

Empty 'Race' Slot

So you want to make race/class all one colour! It's actually HELLA easy.

Go to your Race Slot and delete everything in it, once you do that, press spacebar and BOOM. Empty! Just make sure whatever you want coloured is in the Class Slot, and it will appear the colour of your choice.

Headers

━━━━

How to make your text bigger! There are three sizes of header:

You can colour your headers whatever kind you want - the gradient even works with headers as well! Headers can be used for all sorts of things: Titles, About Sections, Quotes, Borders, Symbols, whatever you want! Icons are also effected by headers so you can orientate an icon wherever you'd like within your TRP!

Just make sure everything is within the {h1:c} & {/h1} or else it will appear as it's default size.

Additional Information

Additional Information can be a canvas to put whatever you want! Here's an example of what I do with mine!

The sky is your limit! You can really do anything with it. Here's a small video explaining spacing with Additional Information and some tricks I've learned.

Links are where you put your. . .Links! Artwork, tumblrs, carrds, social links, etc etc. Here, I'll be showing you the different ways you can format links; orienting them on your page as well as turning them into icon images! The former was hard af to figure out but when you see how simple this is, you will laugh at me-

So formatting links; it's basically the same as formatting normal text as shown above. You can even colour them too! Here's a quick little show of how to make a coloured and formatted standard link.

The order of code for coloured links is as follows: Header (If wanted) > Colour Code > Link To make a link appear as an Icon, you MUST place the Icon Code within the text section (as seen in the video). If you do not, it will not appear and ruin the string of code.

Borders can be used wherever within your TRP! They're good for sectioning information and just making it look nice and formatted. There are three different kinds of borders: Symbols, Images & Icons. I will explain how to make your own, as well as share some for free use!

Symbol-based borders are by far the easiest to make. You just type them out and play around with the symbols of your choice! You can really put them anywhere within your TRP - Additional Info, About, OOC info, literally ANYWHERE.

I encourage you all to try and make your own! I bet they'll be super cool. For now though, here's some examples ya'll can use.

Images

━━━━

Image borders can come in two forms: full images or flattened images. The first is very explanatory, whatever image you pick can divide text. This can be scenery, crowns, gems, Blizzard-licensed character art & so much more! There's a butt load to pick from, so take the time to browse and find the perfect one.

Here's an example I did using a Revendreth image!

Flattened images can also be used as borders! To flatten an image, you must alter the last numbers within the string of code. As you can see here, this is the normal image and default code.

I go in and edit the number 128 to 5 and get this flattened image as a result!

Again, feel free to play around with this and find the images and sizes you love best! I've even seen some people super impose them for backgrounds??? Badass???

Icons

Icon borders are like the weird lovechild of Image & Symbol borders. With a mixture of Icons & Symbols, you can really make some cool shit. Icons can be formatted and moved around your profile with Headers. Like so!

Here is a collection of aesthetic TRP Icons I've found and categorized for your usage! They are divided by UI-formatting, colour (random picks), Racial, Faction & then any other cute random ones I find.

Sadly, the black, white & brown Icon sections has to be cut due to the sheer GIRTH of this post. However, you can really find any sort of Icons within the searchbar! Keywords like colours (black, pink, green), races (Nightelf, Human, etc) and so much more can be found easily! Want your icon to be a class ability? Use the class as your keyword.

Simply a collection of little tricks and nuggets of info I've learned about TRP over the years. They don't quite count as formatting so uh. I dunno. This is my guide, I'll do what I want-

The larger your TRP is, the longer it will take to load. Don't feel put off if someone whispers you about it thinking they were accidently blocked!

A TRP doesn't have to be long to be good. Size doesn't matter, it's how you use it as they say.

Don't feel pressured to make your TRP a certain way. It's your TRP. Have fun with it and go crazy!

Don't feel afraid to reach out & ask other players how they did something in their TRP if you like it! Though some may still gatekeep techniques, there's been a shift in the TRP culture. You may make a new friend too!

If you get a TRP formatting error, you're most likely just missing a / or { } somewhere within the code. I do it all the time and a comb through the code normally shows me where one went missing.

BACK UP YOUR TRP! The worst feeling in the world is writing a super swag TRP only for it to get shitted on by a WoW update. Below, I'll show you a quick and easy way to do it.

In choosing the image on which the mb is based I want to separate them into 3 levels

Easy: An image that has common and striking colors that you can find popular aesthetics - easy to combine, harmony in colors etc!

Not so difficult: an image that has one or more not so popular colors,a background or image a little more complete, with aesthetics not so seen or visual

Difficult: The image has a color filter (dying) It has extra decoration or accessories, it has a specific bright (or duller) color (it means in any case that any image to combine will have to be edited to get the exact color)

# 𝐓𝐈𝐏 𝟐 : ¿How to decorate it?

1. Collages on PICSART cute and easy♡ Make sure that the images complement each other from one side to the other so that there is balance and very importantly give it a center image!

2. Dividers You can make them yourself (On PICSART again) or find them here on tumblr!

3. Gifs I always move the images a little to make it more striking! (you can do it in capcut and create the gif here on tumblr♡) another tutorial of example gif here

4. Texts! separate the angles you can always put a poem or some lyric music! (To add color to the text I have a tutorial here) You can always add "bios", symbols or kaoemojis since they are closely linked to the aesthetics in the texts

5.Pngs: It's very cutee and also gives an extra resource ((I don't use it as much as before but it can work well on quite a few mbds) I would recommend putting it in the middle

# 𝐓𝐈𝐏 𝟑 : ¿How to combine images? (My way to do it!)

Taking into account the general color palette, look at the image and check if the most prominent colors are warm or cold (including the background will be very useful) this way it will be easier for you to combine the tones without really having to find the exact color of the image! It will make it look much better.

# 𝐓𝐈𝐏 𝟒 : Center and sides

Keep in mind the center of your moodboard! As it is still a square (think like it's a painting) you can have more balance if you put certain colors or certain photos on one side or the other and put the main photo (or a collage) in the middle! So that it harmonizes and draws more attention.

# 𝐓𝐈𝐏 𝟓 : Tonal degrees

Always keep in mind what tonal degree the color of the photo has. Depending on that, you can look for images with the same tonality! As I already mentioned, if it is more opaque or stronger or brighter, it makes it much easier to identify a better combination.

# 𝐓𝐈𝐏 𝟔 : Combination

At first glance, you might be able to identify the most prominent colors in a photo, but taking into account color theory, the color of that photo only exists when it is contrasted by another, that is, based on the combination of colors with each other.

So when choosing photos to match, look for the two colors together in the photo to give a more similar impression even if the colors are not exact (In any case, you can also edit the color of images that have the same tone as your photo by changing the image and the difference would not be noticeable)

# 𝐓𝐈𝐏 𝟕 : More ways to apply aesthetics . . .

Related objects: depending on the image, there are also usually certain objects that can be related to the aesthetics of the photo. You can always add details with reference to the aesthetics that, without necessarily matching the photo, can look good.

Angles and sizes: Looking at the reference photo we can find photos that have the same dimensions as this one will make it look pretty good and make sense to put together

Requirements for adding a photo: to make it easier to combine you can write down things to keep in mind so that they combine, for example:

1.Color and Color palette

2.Size, shapes and angles

3.Common objects

4.Balancing abundance (for example if a photo has a lot of details, you have to find similar ones and at the same time find photos that have less details to give it a better impression.)

# 𝐓𝐈𝐏 𝟖 : Your own Style and have fun!

Don't rush into having your own style, eventually your mbds will be guided by your tastes and then you will have your own stamp unconsciously so don't rush!

Have fun and take your time making mbds, that's the secret formula to making a good moodboard♡

𝓑𝓸𝓷𝓾𝓼 𝐁𝐎𝐍𝐔𝐒𝓑𝓸𝓷𝓾𝓼

Match Technique 💋🎀: My painful technique for making everything match so well comes from my perfectionism and I'll tell you what I do,sometimes the photos match each other perfectly (which is perfectly fine lol if you want you can leave it like that) but to make sure.. what I do is separate each of the images and compare them to each other to see the contrast and thus realize if they really match.

Searching: ¿How did we get to the final result? There will always be many times in sex where you simply won't like the result, I always recommend having at least two stages when looking for a good result.

This requires quite a bit of experimentation.

Stage 1 "Draft" : Where you look for the basis of what you want

Stage 2 "Improvements" : You look for the parts that don't fit and why.

Stage 3 "Details": The finishing touches!

Readjust and improve. This is a time for reassessment of your approach and charging forward despite failure. The clouds will pass in just a jiffy, all you need to do is reassess yourself, change your approach then charge forward.

You know girlie, something funny happened to me when i was preparing myself for your reading. I got the intuition to cleanse with incense before i begin your reading, which i ignored at first but gave in cuz i wasnt getting any messages. However, the matchsticks i was trying to use just wouldn't ignite. I was confused and after many failed attempts i struck at a different area and it finally worked.

I feel like it applies to your situation. Youre a firey person, but to ignite that fire you just need to change your approach or technique a bit and then charge forward no matter the resistance and difficulty.

Learn to change with the situation, be patient and brave. You must learn to become fluid and work with your emotions.

Perhaps it is your emotional world causing you hindrance in your journey as symbolized by the waves crashing into the chariot in the card. You should do some cleansing of your own. Dont waste your energy, make sure that when you act it is well thought out and effective.

Do not act thoughtlessly and waste your resources. Focus and center youself, dont get frustrated.

10/5/2023 - RIMUP RAYA! ♡

Our school joyfully celebrated RIMUP stands foR “Rancangan Integrasi Murid untuk Perpaduan”, a festive event to commemorate the joyous occasion of Hari Raya Aidilfitri. As a practicum teacher, I had the privilege of being part of this vibrant and culturally significant celebration.

The school was adorned with colorful decorations, traditional Malay motifs, and beautiful ketupat displays, creating a festive atmosphere that captured the essence of Hari Raya. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation as students, teachers, and staff members gathered in the assembly area, dressed in their traditional Malay attire.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a heartfelt prayer seeking blessings for the school community and the joyous occasion. The religious significance of Hari Raya Aidilfitri was emphasized, reminding everyone of the importance of gratitude, forgiveness, and unity.

The highlight of the event was the cultural performances, where students showcased their talents through traditional Malay dances, songs, and skits. The vibrant music, graceful movements, and colorful costumes brought the spirit of Hari Raya to life, captivating the audience and creating a sense of pride in our cultural heritage.

11/5/2023 - Ceremony Towards the Top (Target Setting) SPM

Today, I was assigned the task of creating a bookmark for the Ceremony Towards the Top (Target Setting) SPM Event. This event holds great significance for the students as it serves as a motivational platform to set their academic goals and aspirations for the SPM examination.

As an enthusiastic teacher, I eagerly embraced the opportunity to contribute to this meaningful event. The bookmark would serve as a symbolic reminder for the students to stay focused and motivated throughout their SPM journey.

To begin the process, I brainstormed ideas for the design and content of the bookmark. I wanted it to be visually appealing while conveying a powerful message of determination and success. Considering the target audience of SPM students, I incorporated elements that would inspire and uplift them during their preparation period.

Next, I gathered relevant resources, including motivational quotes, relevant images, and artistic materials to bring the bookmark to life. I carefully selected quotes that would resonate with the students and encourage them to persevere in their studies. The images chosen were reflective of their academic journey and represented the themes of ambition and achievement.

The creative process involved sketching and refining the design layout before transferring it to the final bookmark format. I paid close attention to the color scheme, typography, and overall aesthetics to ensure an appealing and eye-catching design.

Today marked the 24th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Parents-Teachers Association (PIBG) at our school. Due to the current circumstances, the AGM was conducted virtually through Google Meet, allowing parents, teachers, and school administrators to participate from the comfort of their homes.

The virtual meeting began with a warm welcome from the PIBG committee members, expressing their appreciation for the attendees' presence despite the online format. The agenda for the AGM encompassed a wide range of topics, covering academic matters, extracurricular activities, parental involvement, and other pertinent issues.
