"Irene! You did it!!!" She could hardly contain her excitement, Cynthia practically screamed herself hoarse cheering for Irene. "I'm so happy for you! You did great out there!"
“I– Um– C-Cynthia…!”
The attention is sudden, and a little startling! In fact, it earns a soft squeak from the victorious cavalier, and she averts her gaze as a heavy red settles across already pink cheeks. If anything, the cheering and praise should go to the rest of the team– How cool is it that she’d gotten to play alongside actual historical figures?! And a group of heroes, at that?!
Still, the adrenaline from the victory is enough to quirk Irene’s lips up into an equally bright smile.
“Thank you…! Thank you so much! I’m… I’m glad you think so…! It– It was a fun game…! I-Ike’s team were a mighty foe, that’s for sure…! But, um, we triumphed in the end, didn’t we? … Goodness, you sound like you could use a drink after all that cheering. L-let’s go find you some water...!”
