sitting here thinking about dany and rhaego . . . thinking about how, in verses/aus where he survives, he is, and i mean, in the most literal sense, her world. she stops at nothing to ensure that he not only feels, but knows, that he's loved, protected, and cherished. his well-being is at the center of every decision; he is at the core of everything. thinking about how much she smiles when she kisses his temple and calls him "my little dragon" !!!!

sitting here thinking about the potential meaning behind that moment with the valyrian sphinx, where illyrio and tyrion note that she's a dragon queen, but the empty spot beside her suggests that her king was taken away . . . dragged off as a prize to vaes dothrak. and like . . . the fact that adw.d itself leads so many suitors to dany?? literally from across the world, these guys are seeking her hand in marriage, and even beyond that, characters are just looking for ways to get to her to aid her/seek aid! there's something here! anyways! in terms of the marriage candidates, i think it could symbolize the deaths of those who wish to marry her via obligation/expectation. quentyn comes to satisfy the terms of a contract, and in an effort to win dany's hand by showing her that he's dragon-enough, he gets cooked. victarion isn't going to survive dany. young griff certainly won't survive her. and hizdahr? he's going to be brought to justice, then eaten by drogon.

sitting here . . . thinking about how targaryens, like their dragons, answer to neither gods nor men. thinking about how in valyria, there were thousand of gods, but none were ever feared. thinking about dany as the culmination/representation/embodiment of a new valyria. thinking about dany as a new god in that context, as the dragons representing gods, as well.

smth smth . . . in verses/aus where dany wields fire magic, she doesn't just have the capability to manifest it as fire alone, but there's almost a molecular level of control, this very intimate knowledge of fire's essence that empowers her ability to use it. thinking about the different ways she can use fire, such as condensing it into such a concentrated form it's lightning-like, being able to burn others from the inside out, creating bindings that burn, but also healing-adjacent capabilities, like cauterization, communication in the form of astral projections through flames, forging wards and weapons of fire, among other things!
