it huffs, reaching forward to wrap one of it's arm's around kaeya's waist only to somewhat harshly tug him back towards it a second later . it nuzzles against the back of his neck ❛❛ krasivaya, lyubimaya.. ❜❜ maybe it was getting a little annoyed at kaeya having to focus on work , on others - instead of focusing on it .

The last thing Kaeya expected was to be yanked back by the abyssal creature, thrashing a bit from the initial surprise before settling down. He huffed in turn out of very mild exasperation, but exasperation, nonetheless. Although, he was unable to keep his cheeks from warming at the pet names it used on him while it nuzzled against him.

Heaving a sigh, the Mondstadtian press a hand to the arm around his waist, giving it a few gentle and assuring strokes. “Liebling…” he began with that all-knowing, pointed tone, “You can’t keep doing this, you know. You can’t always drag me away from my job; I have work to do. Just because some of us are enjoying some time off, doesn’t mean that everyone else is, too.”

Then, however, he felt the long stripe of its tongue lick up his neck. With a gasp and a shudder, he grits his teeth and furrowed his brows, screaming at himself internally to PULL HIMSELF TOGETHER! No, he refuses to bend to its whims, he has things to do and responsibilities to get done and commitments to get to and—and…

“… Ugh. UGH—Archons, you’re insufferable! Fine, but don’t get used to this!” he relents, groaning in defeat as he dragged his hands down his face.

And then she steps out from behind a building.

She's taller. Her plating is thicker, and she's wearing a large leather jacket in place of her original attire. The SOLVER flashing through her visor.

It felt ike everything around her disappeared in that moment as she watched J—

come creeping out towards her, and the moment her optics lay upon that terrible symbol she can feel her breath catch in her throat. Her inner emergency fans click on to try and help V get her breath back. She tries to scan the other but it gives her a object unscannable error and V whimpered quietly.

Why did J have the Solver virus..?

She thought it had been all fully contained once Cyn had been destroyed..? The smaller femdrone backed up, looking terrified. "W-Who the hell are you...? You're not J...”

Her back pressed to another building and her tail was quick to curl around her own peg leg.

HIS HESITATION WAS INVOLUNTARY. he blinked, & he was watching terra fly away from the land of departure, itching to reach him with every part of his heart. another blink & ven was reaching for him as a portal pulled him into the lanes between, unsure where he was going to end up. he steadied himself, focusing on the changes between the terra in his memories & the one before him now ( he had them, & aqua had them too–––– but not ven who did not have a scar on his body or a hair longer than when he had gone to sleep ).

it had been a long time ago, things were different now–––– a mantra he repeated often.

his feet carried him forward until he was side by side with terra. his key blade spun in his hand, a newly familiar weight ready to take on any heartless that got too close.

❝ we can do this together! ❞

aqua would be there soon, & if they couldn't handle it on their own, the three of them would be more than enough. ven believed it, now all he had to do was get terra to have faith in him, too.

The man she approaches on the dance floor is certainly eye-catching—his blue ensemble paired quite nicely with not just his eyes, but his flaming red hair. Similar to her own, though in a decidedly differing hue.

"Hello," Teardrop crystal visible on her brooch, she offers a hand to him as the next song begins, "Would you care for a dance?"

Eliwood likes the atmosphere here. The dancing, the laughing -- and the food, perhaps most of all. It's different than he's experienced before, but that just makes this evening all the more magical.

And he's pleased that he's meeting new people. With a smile he takes the young woman's hand in his own.

"I would love that. Thank you," he says as he takes a deep bow. "Eliwood of Pherae. How shall I address you, my lady?"

THERE was an annoyed sigh and a roll of his eyes, but aphelios complied. while he'd prefer to somehow do this by himself he'd let his bandmate do so to make it easier. outwardly he wore the posture of impatience and annoyance but internally he found it almost nice to some degree. would he ever actually admit to this? never. well . . . never to kayn directly. to alune? oh, this would probably be part of their next conversation or the one right after that. maybe he'd include some kind of teasing that could result in his twin inadvertently poking fun later on. was this a fickle roundabout way of doing things? probably. but his ways were what made sense to him and he'd stick to them.

aphelios wrote what he said in his messaging app. while his voice was good to use it was more fun to tease with text by forcing kayn to read it. it was weird but it made it funnier. though he definitely appreciated it. who knew he could enjoy spending time with people other than his twin? times sure changed.
