Breakfast in bed with a Scottish beauty🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💄💋🧇🥞☕️

One morning,Oliver woke up and he saw his lovely and gorgeous husband sleeping next to him. He crawled up to Douglas and whispered into his ear and said

“ Toad and I are going to make breakfast for you.” He then kissed his cheek and Douglas moans a bit by a sweet but husky voice of Oliver whispers and he said

“okay my honey bunny.”

~Then afterwards, Oliver got up out of bed and went to toads room. The two agreed and went down to the kitchen and started making the most beautiful breakfast ever. They made pancakes and waffles, added fruits like strawberries and blueberries and last but not least the whipped cream. Toad and Oliver are satisfied and they’ve carried a tray that leads to their bedroom (I’m talking about Douglas and Oliver’s bedroom). When they’ve arrived, Oliver thanked toad for the help and toad heads out to hang with skiff and said good bye to Oliver.

Soon after, Douglas woke up from his beauty sleep and he stretches his arms while wearing his Négligée that is stunning on his body and he said

“ngh mmmmmmmnh, good morning honey.” as he gives Oliver the bedroom eyes and bit his lips. He crawled up to him and said

“ oh Oliver, you made breakfast for moi.” Then Oliver said to him as he placed a tray full of waffles, pancakes and strawberries and topped with whipped cream and said

“Yes, babydoll I’ve made breakfast for you and me.” As Oliver kisses Douglas lips slowly and they parted a bit. The two shared breakfast together like soulmates and lovers do, so Douglas has the strawberry in his hand and feeds it to Oliver as Oliver has a strawberry in his mouth and fed it to Douglas. The two teases via whipped cream and feeding each other pancakes and waffles. After they were done with their breakfast, they were making love with passion and romance that goes on and on (you get the idea).

Finally after all of the lovey dovey stuff, the two got out of bed and started to get ready for the day. As the two left the bedroom (heads up they’re fully clothed and they’re in human form) and left their beautiful beach house, they started heading out via holding hands.

The two had the best bed and breakfast that they ever had.

Mugshot Monday - "Big Toad" coffee mug by David Swenson with Morning Glory Signature Blend by Peace Coffee

I finally own a David Swenson mug! It's been a long journey of missing his sales over the years.

I met "Swen" by chance a few years ago at Northern Clay Center in the studio's glaze bay while he was helping his ceramics class glaze their pots.

When his students weren't asking any questions, he was painting beautiful designs on some of his own mugs and tumblers.

His illustrations are so detailed and fluid -- it was mesmerizing to watch him use stain and wax resist with a brush. I had seen his finished work previously and always wondered how he made those cups.

It was fascinating. I decided then and there I'd own one of his mugs some day.

Well, my friends Adam and Jennifer offered to drive to Matthew Krousey's Fall Pottery sale up in Harris, MN last Saturday where Swen was selling his pottery with a handful of other potters.

It was a gorgeous fall day and the pottery vibe was excellent.

I took a look at all of Swen's mugs and settled on this awesome toad mug. He said he'd catch toads when he was little and they're fun to draw.

I'd be happy with any of his mugs--they look amazing. But this toad mug felt like "home" when I held it.

The swirly handle feels so good and the unique shape actually fits your hand and thumb perfectly as if the handle wasn't even necessary.

I really enjoyed talking with Swen at the sale about ceramics, shapes, handles, glazes, studio space and more. He's a great ceramic artist but he's also a fantastic human.
