He saw her approaching, saw the bucket in hand filled with water but he didn’t think to move. He assumed it was for something or someone else. He was very quick to learn that he should have indeed moved because next thing he knew, he was soaked in the front. His hair that was styled up now falling into his face, water droplets slowly dripping down his face. His shirt and jacket soaked as well, his pants though were more or less spared. 

His mouth formed into a smirk, staring her down. It was quite the bold move, one many wouldn’t have done. He was even more impressed that she approached him where he saw instead of doing a sneak attack from behind. The girl got guts and he admired that within someone. 

“ You sure you’re not gonna regret that later? If you apologize now, I may not hold a grudge. ” He finally said, playful but there was a little bit of danger behind his voice. Of course nothing that would actually cause her harm, no, but he would get her back.

Shuji was wandering around the mostly abandoned streets, eyes not focused on anything in particular. He had left Kisaki for the night, tomorrow something bigger was planned and Shuji couldn’t wait to see the outcome. 

When he collided with another, he didn’t even stop to apologize or see if he hurt them. No, feet were planning to keep walking until the words left the person he ran into. His foot in mid step but instead of stepping forward, he brought his foot back next to his other planted foot. His body slowly turned to look at the girl he bumped into. Golden hues staring directly into her own eyes. 

“ Ohh? One could say the same to you. ” Shuji answered, slowly giving a smile but it wasn’t sincere. “ Quite the mouth on you, usually people would be apologizing instead of accusing, right? ” Eyes flicked away from her briefly to look at their surroundings before he was back on her. “ It’s late to be walking alone, isn’t it? You should run on home before you actually run into the wrong people. ”
