a wild percy falls asleep on sora's shoulder,

     he’s paralyzed. unmoving as a statue, stuck as if frozen in time. he doesn’t dare try to shift, to blink, to breathe ( —— well, no. he has to breathe. but he’s taking the slowest, most careful breaths imaginable! ) out of fear of disturbing the sleeping other beside him. after all, sora knew how important it was to sleep whenever possible! if the opportunity ever arises, then you should grab hold! no matter where you were! and apparently, that’s exactly what percy did!     ( a little unfortunate that it was on sora but well… not like something could be done about it now! )     so sora sits still and continues to sit absolutely still. he doesn’t make a sound. and in all honesty? he couldn’t, even if he wanted to! the moment contact had been made, sora lost any and all ability to speak / to think. the only bright side was that with percy asleep, he couldn’t see the roaring blush on his features!

     oh, he’s embarrassed. he’s embarrassed at how casually percy can just say stuff like that, he’s embarrassed at how cheesy it all was, and he’s embarrassed at the fact that it absolutely works on him. cheeks puff and lips pout and the blush goes across his face and on his ears and down his neck —— he’s embarrassed! so sora reacts in the only appropriate way.     his hands go up! and smush against percy’s face. he doesn’t want to be seen ( not when he’s this embarrassed! ) and he doesn’t want to see that silly grin he knows percy is wearing and he’s just too flustered to really do anything besides huff and complain!     ❛  don’t you have to go be sappy somewhere else?  ❜
