With  practiced  ease,  she  slips  into  Peter’s  bathroom,  closing  the  skylight  with  a  barely  noticeable  click,  even  if  she  knows  that  Spider  isn’t  inside;  after  all,  he  was  the  one  who  gave  her  directions  to  get  his  web-fluid  (as  if  she  hadn’t  figured  out  his  hiding  place  the  first  time  she  was  here,  sweet  Spider).  Going  into  the  living  room,  she  plucks  a  few  items  from  the  desk,  running  her  fingers,  musing  about  what  to  tease  him  later  when  she  hears  a  noise  coming  from  the  bedroom,  a  second  later,  a  voice  calls  out  for  Peter.  With  a  raised  eyebrow,  she  drops  the  fidget-toy  and  swaggers  into  the  bedroom,  smile  spreading  across  her  lips  when  she  sees  Xandra.  “  Aren’t  I  glad  to  see  you.  Was  afraid  I  would  have  to  scare  a  poor  girl  away,  ”  Felicia  teases,  falling  back  into  the  bed  the  woman  just  vacated,  purring,  seemingly  without  a  care  in  the  world,  even  as  her  fingers  slip  the  hidden  key  in  the  bedframe  into  the  palm  of  her  hand,  the  metal  tucked  in  a  second  later  into  her  sleeve.  “  He  sends  his  regards.  ”

It was quite a bold move in those times to be left alone, having sandwiches over a dining table. It’s much more racy than it sounds these days. i love felicia so much. like, she is so iconic. like, the way they reverted the usual trope of ‘loved one is worried about their super-hero partner’ (which is one of my fave tropes!!), to like ‘babe, babe, i love it when you put yourself in danger, i’m right there with you, i just don’t like it when you talk about things like paying taxes or your rent, it’s so boring’
