          —     Admittedly, for the most part, she tries to ignore negative emotions (until the point she can’t). Jealousy/anger/etc. don’t do anything but distract her from what she has to do — from the important job she has protecting the people of South Korea. Obviously, though, there comes a point where she holds on to these things too much and she can’t stop them from coming out. Generally, it starts with an outburst of emotions, generally shouting in anger at first until everything else comes pouring out. And then she naps for like four hours and considers herself good to go. Definitely not a healthy way to deal with her emotions, of course — not that she’ll admit it.

          —     Ooh! I hadn’t thought of this yet. So thank you for these questions!

          —     For favorite characters: D.Va is definitely the type who likes to see big damage numbers, so she’s not a huge fan of any of the support-type characters. The only exception is Zhongli, but she just likes the shields and additional damage he can provide — along with his Elemental Burst. That said, she usually just has him on her team and swaps him in to do those before swapping in for one of her damage dealers. Of the healers, she prefers Jean or Qiqi, because they can both heal while doing damage and she just prefers how swords feel in comparison to claymores. (Gotta go fast!!) Her TOP favorite characters, though, I can see as being Keqing and Hu Tao! She almost constantly has them on her team (except in a situation where they don’t work well).

          —     Her typical team comp is Keqing, Hu Tao, Zhongli, and Qiqi. Sometimes she’ll swap Qiqi for Jean, but she prefers having a wider array of elemental reactions to choose from, and in times when she feels she needs more healing, she’ll usually try to swap Zhongli for Jean instead of one of the other two. Her second favorite comp, though, primarily for the later floors of the Spiral Abyss is Xingqiu, Bennett, Albedo, and whichever healer she doesn’t have on her main team.

          —     And you didn’t really specifically request these, but:

Her favorite aspect of the game: exploring and ascending! She likes to wander all around Teyvat to see what she can, and she ironically loves the grind of levelling up her characters.

Her least favorite aspect: Drop rates. She missed out on more constellations for Hu Tao, damn it!!!

Events: She generally prefers the battle-based events and will grind until she can 100% them. She was a huge fan of the Golden Apple Archipelago, though! Her least favorites were the Windtrace event and most of the sub-events for Windblume. Also the Harpastum rings from Golden Apple Archipelago can die.

Co-Op: She has her own invites set to auto-reject until she specifically wants to allow people in, but she likes to pop into other people’s worlds and help them with things!

          —     Are you asking me to make a Genshin verse for D.Va, Nons? Because I will do it—.

          —     Well, to start with region, we don’t know much about any of the nations’ inspirations aside from Inazuma, Liyue, Mondstadt, and Snezhnaya, but none of the mostly unknown nations seem to hint at any inspirations from South Korea, either. So just in regards to the real-life countries that are nearby that inspired nations, I think she’d be technically from both Liyue and Inazuma, with her father hailing from Liyue and her mother coming from Inazuma (Since Hana is also a Japanese given name and Song is also a Chinese family name.)

          —     For element, I would peg her as either having an Anemo vision (for her free-spirited personality and as a reference to her boosters on Tokki) or a Pyro vision (for her passion for gaming and protecting others and as a reference to her blaster and her Self Destruct ultimate).

          —     Since guns aren’t really a weapon in Genshin Impact, D.Va would likely probably have either a bow or a catalyst, since they’re the closest! In either case, I imagine her having a taunt-like ability that acts as a call-back to Tokki (summons a large, bunny-like creature or illusion that can also do damage like Oz), the ability to create a shield (a call-back to her defense matrix), and the ability to quickfire (likely a charged shot / attack, as a reference to her micro-missiles). Her burst would be a quick, wide-spread damage as a reference to Self-Destruct!

          —     Due to those general talent ideas balancing between straight out damage and defensive abilities, she’d probably be a sub-DPS with the potential to main-DPS if you build her correctly!

          —     And for giggles, with her passive talent, gliding becomes faster when she’s on the team. (Yes, this is referencing her boosters again.)

          —     Firstly, ohmygosh, thank you so much for the kind words! That is so absolutely sweet, and so is sending in this question!

          —     In all honesty, I haven’t thought much about what D.Va would be doing for work aside from even gaming, so this is a real thought provoker! As a character, so much of who she is just seems to revolve around gaming, so coming up with something different is a challenge. (But I like challenges. :P)

          —     Just thinking about it, now, I think if she hadn’t gotten into pro-gaming (and MEKA as a result), I think she’d be going to university, maybe working a part-time job on the side — probably at a cute little café or a clothing store somewhere. As far as degree, I think at what her canon point in life is, she’d still be exploring her options and considering her major, but I think ultimately she’d probably settle on engineering, since it’s so close to what she and Dae-hyun liked to do as kids — taking things apart and putting them back together, fixing things, making things work!

If a civilian gets hurt in the Gwishin attacks, it’s because I wasn’t good enough or fast enough. Every time one of my teammates gets hurt, I feel like it’s my fault for not doing well enough.
