He's not surprised at the question; a lot of people thought his obsession with her was from some misguided attempt at romance. And while there had been a time before she'd run away that he thought he was starting to love her, that maybe, just maybe, she might love him, that had quickly changed.

He had loved the idea of her, of what she represented. As far as faunus went, she had suffered very little; she had been raised by loving parents, had wanted for nothing, had only joined the White Fang because her parents were in it initially, not because she'd had no other choice. And yes, there's more to it than that; she chose to stay even after her parents had left, but he'd had nothing.

His parents had abandoned him as an infant, he'd been practically sold to the SDC, forced to work in the mines as a child, and then he'd been branded, which had ended any hope of escape, of a normal life.

And for a time…, he had thought that Blake had seen past all of the hurt, to the scared boy beneath, saw how much he wanted to help his fellow faunus, even if he didn't always make the best choices.

"It was….complicated," at best, he finally replies. They had not shared more than a single kiss….., but she represented everything he could never have…., and that made him angry. Beauty….home….a loving family….; he wanted to destroy all of it.

[hair]: length, colour, texture, whether it grows quickly or slowly, how manageable it is, whether it requires lots of styling, do they leave stray hairs everywhere, is it present on their face, is it present on the rest of their body, etc.

Adam's hair is a mix of red and brown, and while there is some brown mixed in with the red throughout, it changes to brown around his ears and down. He's actually very vain about his hair, and very proud of the colour and how it looks. It's very striking, after all, and he uses that to his advantage.

Because of his horns, he doesn't have too many options with what he can do with his hair, so he tends to keep it a manageable length, that looks good with his horns, and won't get in his face. When he was younger, there was no one to really help him take care of himself (his parents abandoned him and the orphanage didn't care, and neither did the people they essentially sold him to), his hair was longer and it got into his face and he hated it. But he doesn't like how he looks with extremely short hair, so he's found a middle ground.

Thankfully, it doesn't grow super quickly, which means he can put off dealing with it until he has to. He is very selective about who is allowed to touch his horns, and it very much also depends on context.

With the length he keeps his hair, it doesn't require a lot of styling, which keeps it soft and healthy.

He doesn't have a whole lot of hair on his chest, but that red picks up again, leading down from his lower abdomen. His pubic hair is natural, though there's again, not a whole lot there, which means it likely looks trimmed, but that's just how it grows.

[skin]: obviously colour, but also if they’re inclined to run hot or cold, do they have any blemishes or unusual markings, are they inclined to blush, are they freckled, do they tan, what does their skin feel like, etc.

Though most people will never have caused to find out, Adam runs colder than most. He keeps most of his skin covered because of this, and also because he figures that there's not really any reason not to. The less of him he has exposed the better, to protect him from blows and from someone deciding that that was far too much and they'd really rather not.

There are scars on various parts of his body, though more on his back than just about anywhere else. Most of them occurred when he was still fairly young, working in the dust mines. There were definitely a couple of times he had to be whipped into obedience, and they left their marks.

Adam takes good care of his skin, especially what little can be seen, figuring that if presents himself as though he has more than he does, then people won't question that. (It's one of the reasons he dresses like he does, as well.)

He definitely burns in the sun, but after that initial burn, it'll fade into more of a tan, which is useful for when they're travelling and may not necessarily have as much access to sunblock or aloe.

[eyes]: not just the colour, but the shape, the length of their eyelashes, whether they’re alert or usually half-closed, large or small, sunken into the face, ringed by bags, etc.

And here we go: the most obvious thing if one were to see Adam without his mask. There is an SDC brand across his face, which blinded his left eye. He is very lucky he did not simply lose the eye completely. But as it is, he cannot see out of it at all, and it is grey and completely blinded.

His right eye, however is a bright, clear blue, somewhere between an almond and oval shape, a bit more pointed on each end. It his heartbreaking to think what his life could have been like without the brand, but it very much affects how he sees himself. His right eye is framed by dark lashes, just long enough.

He keeps alert, though that usually can't be seen behind his mask, and he relies on his other senses for that, as well, since he only has sight in one eye.

When fully erect, Adam is about 7.5". While not particularly girthy, he's also not super thin, either. A bit wider than a couple of fingers (depending on the person), but certainly not as wide as a whole wrist or anything like that. Slightly darker skin than the rest of his body.

He was circumcised at the hospital, when he was still just a baby.

As mentioned above, while he does have pubic hair, it's not terribly thick. It is very red, though, like the hair on his head. There is some brown hair, though not nearly as much.

And as for his rear, Adam's is toned, lean muscle, like the rest of him. He has some cushion there, and enough give that if someone were to smack him on the ass, they would notice movement and wouldn't completely hurt themselves.
