a  TL  ;  DR  for  serena’s  stranger  things  verse :

as  usual ,     her  family  is  a  kennedy  parallel ,     and  very  prominent  in  business ,     society ,     and  politics.     however ,     after  the  death  of  serena’s  father ,     she  and  her  brothers ,     august  &  masen ,  are  sent  to  stay  with  a  family  friend  in  hawkins ,     indiana ,     in  order  to  keep  them  from  any  danger  in  new  york.          sort  of  like  a  witness  protection  thing ,     but  also  not  since  they  don’t  have  new  identities  or  anything ?

their  current  guardian  works  at  the  lab ,     but  serena  and  her  siblings  don’t  yet  know  what’s  going  on  there     -     only  that  their  guardian  works  long  days  and  nights ,     and  they  have  more  freedom  than  they  did  in  new  york.

serena  is  still  a  ballerina ,     and  attends  a  new  studio.
