            “    IZUKU!!    COME WINDSURFING WITH ME!!    ”    out of all of the things he could have done on the beach,  and will eventually come to do before the weekend was over,  the first thing inasa sought out was something involving wind,  regardless of never having done it before.

            “    there’s a lot of people that assume i’m as dumb as a post because of how excitable i can get.    and then when i floor them with my results,  they just end up hating me.    i guess it’s just how some people are.    ”

            “    i never thanked you for snapping me out of my flurry...    i know you did it more for your friend,  but it meant a lot to me too.    ”    not only would the fight have gotten worse if he hadn’t,  his own actions would have been irredeemable.    he was deeply grateful.

            “    the water is so clear!!    how far do you think we’re allowed to go??    ”    nearly as excited as a child,  inasa couldn’t help wondering what kind of fish and other water creatures he would be able to find there.

            “    would it be too much to ask if there might be an internship position open when i finally get my provisional license??    ”    inasa knew it would be way too much to ask from some professionals,  especially with how he behaved at the exam,  but he’d learned since then,  and hawks seemed like a great man to work under.

            “    i’ve heard you’re a teacher at yuuei   --   they offered me admission if i decided to ever transfer in.    i’ve not been so sure if i want to do it or not...    but i’d like to know what the classes are like if you’re fine with elaborating!!    ”

            “    i’ve been thinking if i should transfer to u.a.    wouldn’t that be cool??    ”    it was something he had been thinking about a lot since the makeup license examination.    not because he didn’t love shiketsu and the people he went with.    and there was nothing lesser about shiketsu to u.a. other than the publicity the schools got,  but still...    he was contemplating it...

            “    you’re one of the kids from ua   --   sero,  right?!    ”    as long as he could put a face to a name,  he was usually good at remembering them.    he’d memorized almost the whole class by now.

            “    it’s a pleasure to meet you,  all might,  sir!!    ”    maybe he was a little too stiff upon meeting the hero,  rigid from the nerves and completely unsure what he wanted to do or say.

            “    i’ve had to live in the dorms shiketsu provided since i started.    my house is actually a lot closer to yuuei,  so summer and breaks are the only times i get to visit back.    ”    which sucked,  especially since he had to leave all of his dogs behind,  but they never forgot him.    and it forced his dad to stay at home while his mother traveled for work.    if he could have,  he would have taken them with him.    but he was getting to see them now.    “    what are your dorms like??    ”

            “    seiji!!    wanna go out this weekend??    ”    as distant as his friend could be sometimes,  inasa always pressed for them to do things together.    he loved his intensity and hanging out with him.
