meet Halfmoon! They're a very serious individual whose loyalties seem to switch at a moment's notice, though their actual actions tend to err on the side of good despite the curse's whims. They're protective, contemplative, and extremely hard to read without knowing both components well.

Unlike most fusions, they might've first been made with utility in mind (hiding their identities, combining their power, etc). Halfmoon has slightly stronger magic than Financier on her own and is made much sturdier by Dark Choco.

{ those little hints from Ovenbreak aren't canon to my Dark Choco because you can't tell me this man is bad at direction when he's lived in multiple places that were complicated and difficult to navigate and was never mentioned to get lost }

GOLD

those who rule from a throne of gold lead their people fiercely and courageously. even when they feel unfit to rule, they soldier on and never let their fears weaken any aspect of their reign. they value bravery over all other assets. although they care for their people with a burning loyalty, they also believe that violence is sometimes necessary, a symbol of strength to protect the kingdom when it is threatened.

GLASS

the leader who sits on a throne of glass values honesty and integrity. they rule their kingdom democratically and will uphold justice at any cost. their intelligence and perception is unrivalled in any of the surrounding lands. they will always be transparent with their views and be true to their people and what they stand for. however, it is unwise to lie to a ruler of glass - they can see right through any deception and believe dishonesty to be the most severe of crimes.

{ before anything else, Sugar Glass is a canon character! she's one of two introduced in the O.venbreak-exclusive Labryinth of Remembrance event (which you can watch here). Sugar Glass and Amber Sugar aren't very popular/well known in the fandom though, so i dont blame you for not knowing! }

{ as for the au itself, she found Dark Choco after he'd wandered out of the Citadel by himself! Sugar Glass didn't want to leave an Entire Child (about 7 or 8 years old? maybe younger) in the snow by himself and he was too young/quiet to tell her where he was from. plus he didn't really want to go back... }

{ so Sugar Glass and Dark Choco went back to the Labyrinth, the former unaware of where he's from and the latter letting himself forget his childhood as he got older. }

meet Dark Chocolate Tart, a quiet fusion who uses their trident - the Fork of Judgement, which is now a combination of Pastry’s crossbow and Dark Choco’s sword - to administer justice to whoever they deem fit.

It’s often hard to tell exactly what constitutes as “justice”, however, as their components seem to disagree and destabilize as soon as they’re no longer in need of each other’s power.

Internally, both Dark Choco and Pastry stubbornly refuse to acknowledge that they’re almost two sides of the same coin. They think of themselves as being on opposite sides, so they usually split before they can accidentally expose their doubts and fears to each other. If they were to be unable to pull apart, they’d likely meditate to avoid this.

Dark Chocolate Tart would be weak to the Fork of Judgement if they touched one of its prongs. They also have Bloodcaller’s dark lightning, though Pastry’s presence nullifies the curse.

Mother Mary by Mr. Kitty fits as a theme song i think?

i realize i don’t think i ever thought of a name for them, but here they are anyways! they’re five feet tall and as quiet as both their components, who fused after Dark Choco’s appearance frightened Spawny. It fortunately doesn’t take long to split them again when Spawny isn’t going missing anymore!

Outside of the initial shock, they’re quite stable. Rosa is surprisingly good at ignoring Bloodcaller’s whispers, giving Dark Choco a sort of reprieve, and they both enjoy reading. The real downside is that they seem to be in a mildly dissociative state most of the time.

They have very slow movement speed, dragging their sword around with very little enthusiasm, but do a lot of damage that can also paralyze enemies. Just be sure that they haven’t fallen asleep standing up...

If they were to be overtaken by the curse, it’d probably manifest as Darkmess possession.

Soul of Cinder - so this theme is........ so good for this. i feel like a fight between them would be a big deal, both of them being skilled in battle and on such starkly opposing sides. Financier is the good guy, Dark Choco is the bad guy- she'd be a hero for defeating him.

and then the latter half of the song kicks in, and this is probably where the fights slowed down or Dark Choco has lost.

the heroic to tragic transition is just. so good. augh.
