𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐋𝐘𝐍𝐄 makes her appearance at the end of Noah's NRC career,  but who exactly is the rose-haired witch?

to start,  Rosalyne is a native of the Briar Valley and one of its many fae residents.  she is roughly 300 years of age,  and like most,  doesn't look a day over 25 or so,  and this is due to her targeted prey  ...  yes,  her prey.  as any fae of the Unseelie Court,  she is the sort of fae who preys exclusively on menfolk.  she is a baobhan sith, a very pretty succubus-esque fae who feeds exclusively on male partners, often consuming their blood, or eating their hearts as she is want to.

owing to a small deal made with the ruling family of Briar Valley, Rosalyne was gifted a lovely plot of land towards the beach but still deep enough in the forest to be half hidden. a right and proper place to be left to her own devices, where unlucky sailors might stumble into her territory to dance with her for an evening, and never return to their ship. but this also means that her home had a tendency to attract the unwanted attention of wayward children of the valley, since her yard was brimming with ripe fruits, from an abundance of strawberries to apples, and even a very carefully kept blueberry bush.

this has led Rosalyne to become acquainted with Silver and Sebek, as they've made poor attempts to gather fruit from her unmarked land. or, in the case of Silver, to nap beneath her apple tree. although she is quick to return the children, she never leaves them without a threat to carve out their hearts and leave them for dead.

and she would if it weren't for Malleus or Lilia.

helen can cook,  but she doesn’t want to.  she is most likely to take you out to eat junk food,  like burgers and fries or pizza,  ramen,  etc.  over whatever you can get at a 5 star restaurant.  it’s not that she’s cheap,  it’s that she sees her wealth as meaningless,  and honestly,  cheap food is sometimes the tastiest food.  she can at least make a killer cup of coffee

meg can cook,  but doesn’t’ want to cook.  so welcome to microwave meals,  and so many cups of ramen  ( that she probably plucked out of idia’s hands,  let’s be real )  and occasionally she makes something really healthy.

so Arawn is physically gray. like from the top of his head to the soles of his feet, he's the color of plaster, slightly off-white. the reason he has any color is because of the insects that are drawn to him bless him with their color. usually, it's butterflies and moths that land on his person and shed their color on him. this leads him to have unnatural-colored eyes, or two-toned hair, and his skin tends to be bone-white or some odd neutral shade.

Arawn, also, never keeps any one specific appearance. sometimes he appears to be a young, pretty boy of some youthful age. sometimes he appears as a man in his late twenties to late thirties. his appearance is determined by his own whims.

meg's height varies greatly on most days.  it really depends on what legs she has equipped for the day.  most days she stands at at least 6′1,  though there are days when she’s known to be closer to 7′.  if she’s wearing these adorable porcelain looking digitigrade legs with soft pink pads,  she’s closer to 5′7.

bouncing off that roommate idea  : 

meg doesn’t have roommates,  even back on the isle.  the closest thing she had back in the day,  was two of her many,  many sisters.  as a child of nyx,  meg’s total number of siblings is  ...  many.  but if she had to do the roommate thing,  she’s quiet,  disappearing for long stretches of time,  and making it a little difficult to be friends

helen doesn’t have roommates per se,  but she also owns more property than she actually uses,  and the only person guaranteed one of her houses is cass ( @soothsaer ).  but at least everything is paid for way in advanced,  and she’s likely to drop all this gorgeous one of a kind designer pieces on whoever is staying with her.  (  she also does this during her short stay as staff at nrc,  she drops clothing pieces on her students,  mostly jackets,  sweaters,  etc.  bc she doesnt want them or need them.  )

vali is grateful that diasomnia doesn't’ do roommates,  all things considered.  hates that.  also,  wouldn’t stop his familiar from killing his roommates.  he is also a terrible friend.

xia is ambivalent,  has had roommates.  keeps to himself.  he’s very quiet,  cleans up everything,  and only acknowledges the foxes that come and go,  bc they usually bring him notifs from inari.  however he is in scarabia,  so he is suffering.

Noah is a great roommate.  he won’t touch your food.  he does fill the fridge with ensure,  and occasionally sandwiches that might  ...  that might stay there for 5 days before he remembers he bought them.

Dimetor can technically say that he has four parents, and it's true. he technically is the child of Semele and Mors, who was birthed by Thyone posthumously, by way of Alecto.

and none of them would ever claim them as their own. Mors is missing, probably punished by the head of the Shroud's for this perceived sin. Semele was driven mad just carrying Dimetor for six months. Thyone is ... a little dead. and Alecto cannot admit that she ... did some things to make it possible for a corpse to carry past term.

but hey, at least the Junos can say that the year of Dimetor's birth gave them the best harvest on their vineyard. those grapes were growing out of control while he was still in the ground.

Yizhi,  Xia’s falcon familiar,  has a small red ribbon wrapped around his left leg,  & has his magic stone strapped to his body with a similar ribbon. Xia should be carrying that stone around like everyone else does,  but finds it more convenient to leave it with the little falcon.  After all,  it’s very hard to get a hold of the bird without him knowing about it.

Yizhi,  however,  is rarely in class with Xia bc he cannot be trusted not to bother certain students or  a certain cat.  He does pull hair,  and he will perch on the head or shoulders of other students.  He goes after earrings,  and ties,  and collars.  And no,  Xia will not stop him for the most part,  unless Yizhi is being too distracting or actually causing trouble.

mizu sometimes walks around with fox legs to change up their tracks.  it used to be a dead giveaway that one might have married a fox,  accompanied by a pungent musky scent,  and various other tells,  such as dietary,  sexual and so on.  these,  of course,  still very much apply to mizu,  as during long periods of time being around a regular group of persons,  they begin to show more of their fox traits.  and if around long enough,  and depending on who they are with,  when they show their ears,  the number of tails will change from a singular tail to multiple.  during these occasions,  mizu’s legs and hands may also change to more fox like limbs.

more permanent features,  of course,  are mizu’s long canines,  and slightly elongated lateral incisors.  their bite is extremely painful,  and it is best not to be bitten by the fox.

yes,  yes,  make all the jokes about how flat meg currently is,  but when it comes to foreplay or even sex,  keep in mind that her chest is extremely,  extremely sensitive.  touching her breasts,  playing with her nipples,  leave bite marks,  lavish her chest in attention.  just don’t stop touching her.  having her breasts touched and worshiped is one of her greatest desires.  she wants her partner(s) to spend hours just playing with her chest;  she could get off on that attention alone.

rarely,  rarely would meg let herself be dominated,  but sometimes a girl just wants to be shoved down on a desk or the bed or whatever,  face down ass up and just fucked roughly in doggy style.  pin her hands down by her wrist,  grab the back of her neck,  but DON’T ever pull her hair.  no matter how heated things get,  pulling meg’s hair tends to spark some violence from her.

meg isn’t very vocal in bed,  beyond commands and dirty talk,  she only lets out soft moans and groans.  she’s a biter,  a bury her face in her partner’s neck or shoulder or against their back and whimper kinda girl.  she’s a desperately grinding,  clawing,  gasping,  arching,  open mouth silently screaming as she is unmade and remade kinda girl.  there are times where she can be made vocal,  where she becomes a desperate pleading mess,  twisting and writhing,  calling out loudly for more more more.  good luck getting that out of her.

a summary of noah's existence after story events, probably, most likely :

being invited to stay in briar valley by malleus post-graduation, as neither an apology nor an olive branch for the pain he has inflicted upon him. instead of taking the invitation right away, he goes about insisting he ought to finish school now that he is free from his curse and has awoken as a mage graduating and being picked up by silver at malleus' behest being pushed onto a baobhan sith for further tutelage bc malleus can't give him all his time said baobhan sith confirming that she'd kill him bc male, but has a surprisingly soft spot for changelings; still going to run him ragged silver dropping by to check on him and to sleep in the garden, and getting kicked out for being a nuisance by noah's teacher finally able to make a full recovery from his ed with a lot of persistent help from his teacher ( and silver, sebek and co. and some persistant assistance from vil ) still writes to or calls adeuce, and grimm. still loves them in his own way. constantly losing track of time, and has been gifted a lot of very specific jewelry to keep him grounded occassionally dreams of other lifetimes, other versions of himself finally learns how he ended up in twist and, surprisingly, doesn't have a breakdown over it.

Noah does somewhat remember his birthday,  he can usually recall either the month or day,  depending on how the cycle is progressing.  he refuses to celebrate,  and he will gaslight his friends about it if it’s ever brought up.

Rosehearts is,  in a sense,  Mary Ann's father   ...  in that he caused Alice Underhill to overblot,  and,  upon seeing the result,  thought the Phantom was amusing and insisted that Clover provide for it.  Clover,  of course,  is more a father to Mary Ann,  as he reared her,  and cared for her,  named her,  and loved her.

Whatever Rosehearts felt,  it was not love.

Mary Ann aside,  he has had other children.  He had a King,  too.  and at least four children.  And then he decreed they should all be put to death.  Well,  no,  he would have,  had his friends not rebelled against him and spirited away one of the Rosehearts children.

Rosehearts was very idealized in Mary Ann’s eyes as she grew from being a parasitic monstrosity in Looking Glass to Queen. 

though he was nothing but cruel,  he never once lied to her,  even whilst telling her that she was nothing but regrets made flesh.  he considered Clover to be her author,  after all,  since he had given her a name,  and began to shape her into something between Wonderlandian and Phantom.  in his own way,  he was,  perhaps,  holding on to the role of editor,  as he would also pick and choose what parts of Mary Ann ought to remain,  to shape her into something suitable for the title of Black Queen.  this included gifting her with visions of Riddle Rosehearts as the child grew,  allowing her to use his blood as ink upon the pages of Looking Glass that he provided for her.

of course,  releasing her to Twisted Wonderland was little more than a passing fancy,  and he has every intention to bring her back,  even if he has to pry her from those who have come to love her.  even if he must behead everyone she loves.

there is one lifetime which has left such a scar on Noah’s existence that it has manifested in a near irrational fear of big cats.  ( though this has no bearing on how he views Leona )  to be specific,  he is terrified of big cats in the panthera tigris family,  aka tigers.

he is unsure of where this fear might have manifested or why,  but it sticks to him enough that he is honestly terrified of beast men with tiger traits and one specific member of Diasomnia.

and although he may not know the origins of this fear,  I’m more than willing to share this secret  :

during an unspecific loop,  his relationship with Floyd had blossomed into something near romantic.  to the point that he would follow him deep into the woods during Vargas Camp,  ever joking,  pushing and shoving,  and hooting and hollering.  that he would nearly fall off a cliff’s edge because he was so wrapped up in Floyd.  and though he would be jerked back by him,  he would nearly watch his friend go careening off a cliff.  by luck,  though,  Vali would grab Floyd’s arm and drag him back from certain death.

but in the time it took for the taller Leech to straighten up,  Noah would tip his head up and into the jaws of a waiting tiger.  the Mountain God who always accompanied Vali wherever the Diasomnia student went.

Death was swift,  of course,  though the feeling of rough tongue against the back of his head,  the heat of that cavernous mouth,  and those sharp,  sharp teeth,  were the last thing Noah was aware of in that life.

(  He doesn’t know,  because he couldn’t know,  how Vali pushed Floyd off the cliff with barely a glance.  How he only stood by as the tiger consumed whatever it wanted from the pathetic offering that was his body. )
