currently in finals hell + convention crunch for the rest of the month. very little sleep, running on coffee and stress and pure adrenaline, so long replies may take a while (or be queued)! i’ll pop in when i can & reply to shorter threads + memes.  plus, my IMs are always open for plotting or just talking uwu  i also have 5 drabbles planned (3 character studies, 2 past events) that i’m really excited to begin writing out!!!

aw man, i meant to write replies & some drabbles when i got home, but it’s been a very long day and i gotta get up early in the morning so those’ll have to wait.

in the meantime, i have a fun starter call idea.

HAPPY MUNDAY!  i just remembered the time when i was in italy and a ferrari came roaring into this open area near my airbnb, parked, and stayed there for a good hour. the owner, who didn’t even get out of his car (& had his son sitting in the passenger seat looking bored), was chatting with people and letting them take pictures with it. and then he drove away, as loud as he was when he arrived.

MY POINT IS that mabel would be the driver, dipper would be in the passenger’s seat, and she’s very proud of her shiny, super expensive car; thank you very much. (even if she’s a menace of a driver.)

you think she’s horribly arrogant and flaunts her wealth a lot in the states? when overseas, she’ll have nothing less than the best. no shame at all in showing off how rich she is. her instagram would be full of “humble” flexing (it’s bragging).

wow hello! i didn’t mean to disappear for a whole year (that seems to be a thing with me; i came back after a year long hiatus last time too oops), but life came at me fast with my 18th birthday and officially starting my college life. things are finally starting to slow down a bit (my schedule’s still hectic haha) and i’ve been missing this blog dearly after re-watching gravity falls recently.

i can’t write up starters at the moment, but i’ll be happy to reply to any y’all throw my way! more mature topics are now fair game since i’m legally an adult, so anything goes.

Wanted Plots

        ( that got kinda long bc i can’t shut up )

• reincarnation AUs have my mcfreaking heart – can either be lovers, enemies, or best friends. i’m a sucker for only one of them remembering (and mabel would be so intense + doing whatever she can to make your muse remember)      PLOT TWIST(?): mabel actually saw your muse once. she remembered. she tried to talk to them, but got dismissed (reason up to you). that makes her think that your muse DOESN’T remember your past life (or lives) with her and so she… wait for it… alters / “erases” her memories. (air quotes bc they can be brought back)

• everyone’s favorite next door neighbors AU. whether they annoy the hell out of each other, ignore each other, or sometimes have late night chats on their balconies; their bond deepens after mabel’s pet pig, waddles, gets out of her apartment and into your muse’s when neither of them are home. so your muse opens their door to the sight of a random pig making a mess of things. mabel comes back just in time to see waddles gone AND the reaction of your muse.

• mabel succumbing to her magic; letting it consume her and essentially attaining the “goddess” status she’s dreamt of. minus immortality. if your muse is a god, they could come and see what this newbie is all about. if your muse is not, they could’ve known mabel from the ADs about the tent and, when stumbling upon her one day, recognize her from that. but she seems… different…      (she’s technically not OP in this btw ‘cause of her mortality & human body;        the overflowing amount of magic is like, keeping her on a thin line between life + death)

• IF SOMEONE DID A NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM AU WITH ME I WOULD CRY!! either mabel is a wax figure in an exhibit detailing the history of the American circus or your muse is (with the background of your choice). the other muse would either be   a thief sneaking in, completely unaware that the museum comes to life at night until they stumble upon the other   a visitor / benefactor who wants to see more and decides to visit after hours. they could also already know about the museum’s secret & is friends with several exhibits. the wax muse could either be new to the museum or have never bothered to meet this night owl until now. OR our muses could BOTH be wax figures with a relationship like Sacagewea + Teddy (crushing -> become lovers / or good friends) or Jed + Octavius (enemies in the beginning who warm up and become friends; or don’t.)

ALSO for Harry Potter muses / muses with HP verses; what if we went super meta with this and either (or both) of our muses are part of an exhibit in the British Museum à la the real ‘Harry Potter: A History of Magic’ exhibit from the British Library. do you know how heartbreaking it’d be if one of our muses was a wax figure ‘cause they actually died during the second wizarding war and the other muse knew them when they were alive? to see this wax version moving & talking to them? ;v;

• another favorite trope: waking up in vegas after getting drunkenly married. either to a stranger, an ex, her worst enemy, or a client / benefactor of the tent (‘cause while she’d gladly sleep with them, marriage is way out there). they could wake up in the same hotel room OR (and i think this is more fun), wake up in separate rooms so they have absolutely no clue who they’re married to except for foggy memories, blurry photos on their phone, and some hints in texts / drunk tweeting. this is 100% a legal marriage as well; good luck to our muses!

• mabel has a big fear of the undead / anything related to the dead coming back to life (so ghosts). she hates it and sees it as a weakness she needs to get rid of. she calls your muse and asks them to help her get over this fear. this plot would show mabel at one of her most vulnerable states and would (most likely) create a very deep, possibly intimate bond between our muses. your muse would have gained mabel’s utmost trust after all.

• this list with mabel in the celeb role bc i’m a HUGE fan of celeb/non-celeb AUs

• if applicable: mabel’s parents employing your muse to spy, assassinate, hurt, etc. mabel. but feelings (romantic/platonic) develop. shit will go down if your muse never tells mabel about their employer and she finds out on her own. shit will still go down even if they tell her; but at least she won’t absolutely hate & want to kill your muse.

• this list of shakespeare inspired plots minus romeo + juliet and othello

• that soulmate AU where you have many, different kinds of soulmates (positive or negative) and they leave a colored imprint (the lighter the color is, the friendlier/positive that soulmate is) wherever they first touch you. mabel has a lot of imprints but the ones that stand out the most (& the ones she treasures) are from dipper, will, & the stans. she doesn’t think she’ll ever get another imprint as bright as theirs,  so she’s not careful with touching like most people are. and then your muse touches her and there’s this beautifully bright colored imprint in a sea of darker marks. mabel immediately leaves her own imprint on your muse so that they have the same color in the same place.
