Her calloused hand recoiled as the French woman removed it from her shoulder, gritting her death as she did as if to silence the pained response that she would’ve released.

Some movement was possible, but her evident pain in her shoulder flew in the face of the blonde even beginning to entertain the idea that the woman was at all fine.

Her expression contorted more in pain, her brow furrowed and her jaw clenched as she set her arm down once more to indicate her state.
