this sucked. the second the bad idea popped into his head, the brunette knew waiting would be torture. it was her fault, though. who came to the movies in a skirt? only someone who knew logan bought tickets in the back row. he patiently waited as the movie began, hand falling to her leg. his digits delicately brushed along her thigh as his eyes remained on the screen.

he was tired of always having the same conversation. the one where logan had to talk his best friend off the ledge because they couldn't see how incredible someone else would be for them. if he had to go in circles with them one more time, he was sure he'd snap. "i honestly just don't get it." he said casually, as though there was no weight behind his words. "if i was with you, i'd treat you so much better. he's blowing it left and right but you keep going back to him."

“i just want you to loosen up a little.” he shook her shoulder as if to demonstrate. reaching for the tray on the table in front of him, logan nabbed a joint and a lighter. lighting the end, he inhaled, held the smoke for a moment, and exhaled with a smile on his face. “it’s that simple.” he hit it once more before holding it out to her. “you don’t even have to do the lighter part. it just keeps burning.”

"it's easy." logan leaned forward, snagging a joint and a lighter from the coffee table. he turned toward the other, a small smile on his face. "you just light and inhale." he demonstrated, holding in the smoke for a moment when he did. after exhaling, he passed the joint to isabella. "it should be rolling, so just inhale for a second, hold for a second, and let it out."

"you've never smoked before?" he grinned. he wasn't judging, per se — he was just surprised. he didn't consider himself a stoner, but definitely dabbled. "can i show you? i promise it'll be fun."

logan’s digits wrapped around the blunt long enough to let out a sarcastic gasp, feigning hurt at the mention of it being for lowlives. “let your dad know that it’s not 2005 anymore, okay? it’s cool again.” he nodded at her question, taking another small hit before passing it to emma. “i promise it’s not. the worst thing that can happen is some paranoia, but i’m right here. i’m not going anywhere.”

"i've heard stories about your wild side, that's all. i guess not everyone has to smoke to be wild, though." he spoke softly as he lit the joint, inhaling the smoke before he passed it to the blonde. "it's a lot like smoking a cigarette... but with more smoke involved. inhale, hold it for a few seconds, then exhale. it's nice and easy."

“i’ll make it as simple as i possibly can.” he promised, snagging a lighter and joint off the table in front of them. he lit the end wordlessly, taking a quick hit to get it rolling. he inhaled, held it for a moment, and exhaled with a grin spreading across his features. “all you do is inhale for like, a second or two. then hold it for a second — if you can’t, that’s okay, too. then you exhale. you might cough — in fact, you’ll probably cough. it happens. even to me.”
