So I finally listened to The Predator 2: Fleeky Season (I'm so behind in albums...whatever).

I like Fleeky Bang overall. He's good at what he does. However, it kinda got repetitive halfway through the album. I got tired by about the 7th song. In the last half it has more variety though. I feel like the first half a lot of similar instrumentals and lyrical content (opps, "blicking"/shooting them, mentioning SCH Yel or Dirty play members, etc).

I like him mentioning SCH Yel members to an extent. He mentions Tray B once (says he is his favorite rapper) so that was fine. But he mentions Uneducated Kid like A MILLION times! Once in that same line as Tray B saying they are his favorite rappers. He also mentions Polodared (or just Polo) a handful of times. I LOVE the crew/label vibes but I feel like they all just need to do a song or two (or a few) together like Indigo, WYBH, YnR, and whatever other crew, label, or close group of friends can be mentioned.

Rosy Barbie was an interesting feature for "Sausage". I liked Rosy on Drop the Bit but her voice/rapping doesn't come off as good on songs. She sounds better live to me. Or maybe the verse she did on Drop the Bit was just overall better than her regular songs. I'm not sure.

The Quiett trying to be sexual on "More & More" was somehow so unsexy. Like I find him super attractive and handsome and cool but...idk what it was about that lol. Maybe it's the overtnessn of it. Usually The Quiett is very overt when he has sexual content so idk why that stood out to me so much on this one lol.

Coogie makes everyone he interacts with more likeable to me. He just has that effect. I think the song on "Pull Up" was a slightly different song and good chang of pace. Same with "Tokyo" w/ Big Naughty and "No More" w/ Yumdda.

I also liked "Wemby" the lyrical content was similar to other songs but the instrumental was more different to what he's done before.

Last few small details but mentions Hong Dabin (yes calls him by his full government name) on one of the songs. Fleeky Bang is a confirmed DPR Live fan lol!

Ph-1 saying ICN is his second home. Sounds miserable! I HATE that airport! I'm sure he got used to it after being in it so much. I got lost incoming AND outbound of Korea in that airport. I was lost for like an HOUR both times! I almost was gonna just keep the wifi egg and pay whatever price they would have charged me for it cause I was tired of looking for the return kiosk! He might just be talking about the city, Incheon though. In that case, nevermind lol.

Overall, the album is ok. The only problem is the repetitiveness in the first half.

The road to Dabin’s sophomore album Wild Youth is well under way. After the release of “Alive” earlier this year, today he’s out with “Rings & Roses” featuring Conor Bryne.

Drop the Bit Ep.2 Thoughts

(I wasn't able to find the EP.1 Thoughts post so that's my bad. But I'll make sure I start linking the previous episodes)

SadboyJB isinteresting. Like many he needs ab it more polishing. What does he mean he can't speak Korean? I hear a non-English accent when he speaks? Oh apparently its a concept LOL

This guy's voice reminds me of a mix between Changmo and Woo. Sounds nice. Xeeyon was the name.

Noa is pretty polished. He gives off idol vibes tbh. I wonder if he was a trainee before?

This guy reminds me of Super Bee a bit with his voice/style tbh. His name was Noah. As it went on he's a bit different though. A bit more rhythmic.

I recognize the voice! It's the guy from SMTM10! The young guy, I totally forgot his name though. He improved quite a bit again though! Song Minyoung!

Reminds me of ourealgoat a bit but louder. LOL even the clothing style is a bit similar. Blanc is his name

Ahn Byungwoong and Lil Boi mixture? This show is lowkey like Masked singer LOL. Its so funny to just listen to people and try to guess who it is/who they sound like. It was Cha Jinhyuk. His voice is deep compared to his rapping voice LOL

This contestant has a nice vibe. Hong Jungoh. So he had a controversy but they don't expand on what it is but he is apologizing. (After googling, he faked having tourette's syndrome)

I like his vibe. Dabin. He just comes off cool. He lived in Dubai. He's handsome.

Is it KillahGramz? This person was Woojay.

This is a really advanced rapper. I recognize this person but forgot their name. Oh its Sycho! SMTM777, 9, 10 former contestant.

Buddy has a really nice voice. The other 2 female rappers didn't leave much an impression.

She's really interesting. Her tone is good. Also, lots of style. Reggae and Jazzy. She does have a lot of potential! Also, she's pretty! Why didn't they tell us her name? (Had to do some googling, She's Rosy Barbie. According to IG, she's recently release a song with Zene the Zilla)
