˚₊·🖇⎯⎯ as  soon  as  an  update  comes  through  from  one  of  the  dealers  he's  in  touch  with,  edward  leaves  the  dorms  immediately.  it's  been  a  very  rough  week  in  which  he  had  to  play  pretend,  come  up  with  the  story  of  being  too  sick  to  leave  his  room.  he's  lucky  he  was  able  to  be  placed  alone  and  not  with  a  nosy  roommate.  the  only  real  problem  now  is  feeding  his  girlfriend  lies.  telling  her  he's  sick,  which  is  partly  true,  having  her  worry  about  him  ...  it's  not  fair  but  there's  just  no  other  way.  he's  gone  awhile,  phone  left  at  his  desk  on  top  of  the  tomes  of  literature  he's  been  reading.  it's  all  fun  and  games  until  he  arrives  back,  eager  to  finally  feed  unbothered,  only  to  find  valerie  waiting  for  him.  " fuck. "  he  breathes,  shoving  the  blood  bags  into  the  pockets  of  his  hoodie.  " val  ...  what  are  you  doing  here? eddy  was  somewhat  excited  to  go  to  the  gaming  company  and  officially  start  his  internship.  his  plans  never  include  working  in  this  field  at  first  but  the  fact  that  he  checked  all  the  boxes  for  the  position  he  was  interviewed  made  him  think  twice.  it’s  an  industry  he  can  definitely  establish  himself  after  a  few  years.  besides,  games  are  liked  by  people  of  all  age!  confidently  walking  into  the  building  and  towards  the  front  desk,  he  offered  a  charming  smile  “ good  morning.  i’m  edward  park.  i  was  interviewed  last  week  and  was  told  to  come  today. ” / @faeriemists

₊·🖇⎯⎯ too  immersed  in  reading  the  new  book  he  obtained  after  so  many  calls  (  as  a  true  lover  of  art  and  history  he  had  to  have  it  ),  eddy  barely  registers  the  first  buzz  of  his  phone  and  only  looks  at  it  later  when  he  notices  the  screen  lighting  up  again.  stretching  his  arms  above  his  head,  he  grunts  and  then  cracks  his  neck  before  grabbing  the  device  in  his  hands  to  check  who's  needing  attention  at  such  late  hour.

with  everyone  getting  onto  the  roller  coaster  attraction,  except  for  aeri,  eddy  decided  to  stay  back  as  well and keep her company.  he  had  learned  something  and  wanted  to  confront  aeri  about  it  but  he  had  to  make  it  subtle.  now  was  the  perfect  time  for  it  as  well.  “ so  player  3,  huh? ”  he  spoke  while  looking  at  their  friends  getting  ready  to  go  on  this  wild  ride,  bittersweet.  turning  his  head  to  finally  glance  at  her,  there  was  a  hint  of  a  smile  there.  “ was  it  before  or  after–-  me? ”

♡˗ˏ✎*ೃ˚ :; once  the  hustle  and  bustle  of  the  city  quiets  down  and  streets  are  nearly  deserted,  eddy  goes  out  on  his  midnight  walk.  the  night's  dark  veil  allows  him  to  feed  unbothered.  with  the  freshly  delivered  blood  bag  in  hand,  he  walks  down  the  street,  fangs  piercing  the  plastic  material  its  made  of  and  sucking  out  the  contents  slowly.  he's  savoring  the  taste  since  it's  been  quite  a  while  since  he  last  consumed  human  blood.  he  feels  like  he's  already  recharged  but  he  can't  really  get  enough.

standing in the shadows, gwen tuts in disappointment, her impatience fueling the itchiness in her throat. her gaze narrows at the sight of the male, and she follows with silenced footsteps. she closes the gap quickly but trails behind for minutes before her eyebrows raise slightly in recognition. her fingers reach out and wrap around his arm, tugging him back firmly. “ are you kidding me? ” her eyes land first on the bag in his hands, then she meets his with irritation evident in hers. “ and you're not sharing? what the fuck? ”

" i've.. thought about it.. i know i'll outlive my family, friends.. that is okay, because i'll have you. i know there will be struggles, good and bad days. isn't that life? " she is unsure how she would deal with being in the medical field, maybe she would do fine or maybe not. she wouldn't know until the day came. once  he  has  had  his  fill,  eddy  feels  so  much  better  and  he's  able  to  fully  concentrate  on  their  conversation.  he  wants  to  protest  again  but  he  knows  it  better  than  anyone  that  valerie  has  a  point.  if  he  was  still  with  the  woman  who  turned  him,  he  would  have  never  met  her–-  which  would  have  been  such  a  loss.  since  the  first  time  he  laid  eyes  on  valerie,  he  felt  things  he  never  did  before  and  that's  his  proof  she's  the  one.  his  lips  part  for  him  to  speak  but  nothing  comes  out.  it  wasn't  only  the  thought  about  having  to  kill  val  so  they  can  start  the  process  of  transitioning  but  a  lot  more  things  that  would  change  for  the  both  of  them.  his  eyes  close  for  a  moment  when  she  cups  his  cheeks,  releasing  a  sign  in  defeat  because  he  too  can't  be  without  her.  " i  can't  imagine  spending  eternity  without  you  too  but  val  ...  there  are  so  many  things  you  have  to  think  about.  your  life  changes  so  much... "  he  says,  trailing  off  while  thinking  about  it  once  more.  taking  her  hands  in  his,  he  pulls  her  along  for  them  both  to  sit  on  his  bed.  " for  instance,  you  are  in  a  field  where  people  bleed  excessively  sometimes.  do  you  know  how  hard  it  is  to  c o n t r o l  myself  when  i'm  hungry?  god,  the  amount  of  times  i  almost  latched  onto  the  first  person  in  sight. "  he  rambles,  wanting  to  share  his  struggles  so  she  knows  what  she's  getting  into.  " if  i  turn  you  now,  we'll  never  get  the  chance  to  ...  have  children  of  our  own,  val. " / @sacriifice

the  smile  was  huge  on  his  face  however  it  softened  at  the  thought.  after  seeking  information, he  was  ready  to  opt  for  whatever  remedies  were  known  to  help  (  if  any–  )  but then things  progressed  and  happened  without  much  of  a  problem.  “ after?! ”  he  was  a  little  surprised  but  in  a  good  way.  “ it  happens. ”  he  agreed  with  a  nod  of  his  head,  gaze  shifting  towards  the  bunch  waiting  in  line.  “ she’s  not  a  big  fan  of  it. ”  he  laughed  while  his  gaze  remained  on  his  girl. / @charmfox

"  he  would  give  everything  so  he  could  become  human  again  since  doesn't  care  about  this  eternal  life,  the  power  he  could  possess.  he  would  rather  not  deal  with  this  thirst  every  now  and  again.  biting  a  hole  into  the  blood  bag,  his  eyes  turn  darker,  the  veins  around  them  becoming  more  prominent  when  he  smells  the  blood.  pouring  the  contents  of  the  bag  into  the  mug,  he  chugs  it  down  in  one  go.  eddy  can  feel  his  color  going  back  to  normal,  the  warmth  of  his  skin  returning.  tossing  the  now  empty  bag  into  the  bin  by  his  desk,  he  finally  turns  his  full  attention  to  his  girlfriend.  " i  would  never  do  that  to  you.  i  can't,  val... "  he  steps  closer  to  her,  placing  both  his  hands  on  her  arms.  " you  deserve  to  be  happy. " / @sacriifice

꒰ * ｡ ˚ . ✧ ꒱ when he leans into her touch, she relaxes too, knowing that something she said or did has had an effect. valerie didn't like the feeling that was in the air, but she loved him and isn't willing to let him slip out of her fingers. his words strike her right in the heart, knowing that he loved her just as much is one of the reasons she knew what they had is something special, worth fighting for. " brows press together as she listens to how hard it has been for him, she can't imagine. just then, she remembers that he has a blood bag in his pocket. she clearly felt it when he first came in the door and he hasn't fed for who knows how long. she is likely making it difficult for him. pulling away from his embrace, her eyes glance at his jacket pocket and then back to him.
