Thank you @foxesandmagic-asks, here is a snippet of the latest chapter that I never got to finish.

"Sorry for dragging you over here, man," Caspar told Steve as he inserted his key into the front door of the store and opened it up. "I just need to check that everything is still peachy keen in here." "Peachy keen?" Steve asked, his tone playfully mocking. Caspar rolled his eyes, stifling a laugh, not ready to give Steve Harrington the satisfaction of laughing at his jokes. "I mean, like, I gotta make sure that the store hasn’t been broken into and destroyed." Steve nodded. "Yeah, yeah, I know what you mean," he said, craning his neck to look inside the store. "It doesn't look like it, though." The boys walked inside, looking around carefully to see if anything was out of place. But Steve was right, everything was as untouched as Caspar had left it when he locked up the night that Chrissy had died. "Alright, wait here, I'm gonna go check the back area and see if everything's as it should be back there." Steve nodded once more as Caspar pushed his way through the long curtain that separates the back area and the front of the store. The rest of the group was still buying more supplies for Connie and Eddie at the supermarket, so they had some time before they needed to be back. Caspar walked to the back door, rattling the handle to make sure it was still shut tightly. When the door wouldn’t budge, he did the same with the doors to Ray's office and the storage room. Everything was locked, just as it should be. The break room sat untouched as well, the small fridge in the corner humming away and all of the other devices unplugged as Ray would expect them to be. The back area was clean as well, so Caspar walked back out in the front to find Steve waiting by the door, one hand on his hip as his other arm rested on the doorframe. "Ready to go?" he asked as Caspar walked up to him. "The others should be done with their little shopping spree just about now." Caspar nodded. "Yeah, everything's clean." As Steve turned his back to him to walk out of the door, Caspar's eyes, totally unintentionally, wandered down to his back pocket. "Woah, woah, woah, mister," he chided as he saw the tape-sized dent in Steve's jean pocket. Steve made a face and turned back to face Caspar, whose arms were now crossed in front of his chest. "Were you stealing from me while I was making sure no one had broken into this place?" Steve put his hand over his chin, turning his face away from Caspar's playfully judgmental look. "Maybe." Caspar uncrossed his arms, throwing them up into the air. "Well, why would you do that? What could you possibly need from here right now?" "It was not for me, per se," Steve immediately told him. "I got some backup supplies in case something happens." He pulled the tape from his back pocket, holding it up for Caspar to see. It was Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill. Then he reached into the inside of his jacket and pulled out Bette Davis Eyes. Caspar's face softened. "Well, you could have just said that," he told him. "Anything else? Do I need to frisk you or something?" Steve bit down on his bottom lip, pulling out another cassette tape from the other side of his jacket. Caspar fought the urge to smile as he saw Steve hold up a copy of Shout by Tears for Fears. "You remembered." "Well, you did tell me last night, so I haven’t had a sufficient amount of time to forget." Now Caspar chuckled. He waved his hand towards the door, signaling for Steve to step back outside, and pulled the door shut to lock it when he had done so. "So, let me get this straight," he said, turning the lock in the key before turning around to face Steve, pointing at him with his keychain. "You thought of Max and Connie, which makes sense, and me, which is unexpected, but not of yourself? Or Robin, Dustin, Nancy, or Lucas?" Steve smirked mischievously, tapping the breast pockets of his jacket. Caspar opened his mouth, putting his hands on his hips. "It's like you're actively trying to make me frisk you, dude."
