Mukuro's Kitsune Abilities

Transformation(s):

— Human ( default ) - Either with or without her vulpine features ( ears and her four tails ). When they're hidden, the ears and tails could still be seen on her through reflections of herself and will come out when she's drunk or completely relaxed around a person.

— Small fox - pink and white fur with little black tips on her ears, four tails. standard fox size.

— Medium(?) fox - think the proportions of the maned wolf but with Mukuro's color scheme lol she takes this form for shits and giggles mostly.

— Large fox - about the size of single family home, uses this size strictly for intimidation and for when she wants to end a battle quickly or need to escape/run quickly.

— Other people/creatures - Mukuro can take the complete form of another being, so long as she's seen them ( and can mimic their voice perfectly if she's heard them ) This is a short term transformation since that tends to drain a lot of her energy to maintain the image of someone else. Max time is maybe about four ( 4 ) hours ( an hour for each tail ).

— Inanimate Objects - Much like the above, Mukuro can temporary turn into things for the sake of hiding. Same time duration as the above ability.

Other Abilities:

— Illusions - mainly used to confuse people for escape or if she's feeling malicious enough, to torture people. Can be something as simple as just fake copies of herself / weapons to even images of her victims' loved ones.

— Enhanced Night Vision - ability to see clearly in the dark

Technically, he was right, Mukuro really shouldn't have had her one of her tails laid in a manner that could easily get stepped on but at the same time, one didn't have to be a brain surgeon to know to not step on a tail。

Especially since there was not only one but four, not to mention the fact that they're pink。 It wasn't like she blended in with the locals

Mukuro would let out an annoyed click of her tongue as she cradled the injured tail, her eyes narrowed sharply。 Her tail did hurt quite a good deal, expected pain was one thing but unexpected pain was a whole different level。

She'll remember this。

Would she have not already yelped in pain, she probably would have absolutely hammed the situation up more and turn into her smaller fox form and act like he kicked her。。。 maybe some other time。

There was a small swell of pride in her when she noticed that he was somewhat caught off guard by her shifting and spoke about interesting it was to witness。 From where she was from, back when kitsune were more commonplace, seeing something like this wouldn't have been as interesting as it was now, so to hear that he thought of this interesting, made her rather happy。

Mukuro did expect him to ask questions sure, but wasn't really expecting him to ask if she'd allow him to ask questions。

「Questions? Sure, I suppose so,」 after all, it was clear that he wasn't going to stop his perusing of this monster just because she was after it first。 So having some sort of conversation would be rather nice。

Interesting, she turned into a woman before his very eyes, no longer that large fox that spoke to him in human tongue. At the very least it would explain why she was able to take the quest in the first place. He’s read about tricksters within Inazuma being foxes..or Kitsune as the scripts would put it. Never in his life did he ever imagine that he’d meet one for himself, it was truly magnificent, something reading a book behind a desk wouldn’t have taught him. “Now it’s getting interesting, a shapeshifter.” 

After seeing her, a mere beast was nothing in comparison. Now he wanted to know more about her, her past, her experiences, does this skill mean she also has longevity in life? Questions like that were buzzing around his head but he knew better than to be a chipper child in a house full of toys, instead, he took the revelation calmly.  “Maybe you’d allow me a few questions whilst we look for this rare monster together.”

There's a small pink fox loose in the Akademiya。 She absolutely snuck in behind someone and is now just slinking around trying not to be seen。

— i realize that i never really fleshed out mukuro’s abilities for her genpact verse so here it is:

Normal Attack

  Name: Spear of Envy   Normal: Performs up to 7 consecutive spear strikes.   Charged: Consumes a fair amount of stamina for 2 upward slash attacks Plunging: Plunging from Mid-Air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents on the way and causing AoE Electro Damage.

Elemental Skill

Name: Spear of Avarice Tapped: Shoots forward an Electro charged copy of her spear in the direction she's facing. Charged: The longer the attack is charged, the more spears are summoned and the more directions they shoot out towards, starting with cardinal and then ordinal.

Elemental Burst

Name: Spears of Wrath Ability Description: Creates up to 7 copies of her spear which then seek random opponents and either impale the enemy and deal continuous Electro damage or become stuck in the ground and cause a small AoE Electro damage around the point of contact.

Cue Hina bowing before Mukuro, her tail wagging with curiosity as to who the woman before her was. "Greetings," she says.

Staring at the woman in front of her, Mukuro took a good look at her from head to toe。 Trying to identify if the woman before her was also a fox envoy or just was some type of canine woman。 The presence she felt off the other wasn't the same she'd feel with other fox envoys, so it must be the latter。

「Hello,」 Mukuro said with a small bow of her head in greeting。

Please don't mind Kokomi placing with gentle care a flower crown on top of her head.

  There was an initial tensing when hands came towards her, a reflex really, she still wasn’t really used to strangers having a gentle touch towards her。 When the ring of tied together flowers was placed on her head, Mukuro lifted one of her own hands to gently press against the petals of the flowers。

「Oh-- thank you,」 Mukuro says with a soft voice as a little smile grows on her lips。

Mukuro had escaped imprisonment before, she could do it again。 It'd probably be a hell of a lot easier escaping imprisonment here than what she had to escape from before。That was a warning that wasn't going to deter her much, if at all, to behave。

Although。。。 that would mean one less place to be able to visit and that would be more annoying than anything。

Mukuro found herself in a whole new land, Sumeru, if she could recall the name correctly。 But really any sort of thought on what place she was in now was replaced with trying to think of how she'd get herself out of the trap she had found herself in。

She tried wiggling both sporadically and as strategically but to no avail。 Mukuro had put off crying out for so long, since that would probably attract negative attention。 Especially when she was in her small fox form and in a trap like this。

So now here she was, belting out cries and whines as loud as she could。

When the sprain happened, Mukuro couldn't really believe it and for a moment figured that maybe it was just a little temporary pain but whenever she'd move it and a fresh wave of pain raced through her, Mukuro knew it was going to be more than that。

It was a bit of a bummer too, she really was having quite the fun time with this little sparring match。

「I also just haven't fought hand-to-hand in a long time,」 Mukuro said, while yes, Ayato was rather hard on her, Mukuro did like that bit of challenge。 「Well, what doesn't kill me makes me stronger after all。」

"Perhaps I did go a little hard on you." If Ayato had a say in things, the spar wouldn't be over. But there was very little chance Mukuro could safely keep going. "I suppose even though it's been quite a while since I practiced hand-to-hand combat I do still have the instincts."
