What are some of your favorite plant/crystal books?
Good question!!!!
I havent found too too many crystal books I can call my favorite yet!! I'll have to look into it! I really love crystals a little bit more from a geology standpoint and wanting to learn how they form and where they come from!
💎I have Crystals by Yulia Van Doren and that one is more aesthetically a pretty book!
💎I also have Fifty Minerals that changed the course of history by Eric Chaline but that one's more historical and more minerals than crystals specifically!
🌿For plants I've also read fifty plant that changed the course of history also by Eric Chaline, if you're interested in history I think you'll like these books
🌿Right now I'm reading Edible Wild Plants by John Kallas, SUPER interesting if you're curious about foraging! 🌿I absolutley adored Kew Rare Plants by Ed Ikin, a goreous book THAT CAME WITH FORTY VINTAGE PLANT illustrations, as someone who always wanted lots of vintage botanical art, this collection is just so amazing for everything you get in the little book box collection. They sell it at Urban Outfitters but don't get it from there it's more affordable online at Target
🌿Cottage Gardens by Claire Masset was quite sweet, lots of beautiful photos and flower and tree descriptions as well!
🌿This one I havent read yet but I got on sale at Barnes n Noble!!!, gorgeous book, its Botanical Sketchbooks compiled by Helen and William Bynum with over 500 years of botanical art!!! A gorgeous gorgeous piece 🌿Vintage Roses by Jane Estoe is a great book if you love well- vintage roses!! Beautiful photographs and fun history
🌿Plant Therapy by Dr Katie Cooper was one of my favorite reads, I couldn't put the book down- it's about how we genuinley need more nature in our life and how it can have beneficial effects on our mood and health in general. I'm not one to believe in cure alls for anything, but there is something to be said about how humans' natural habitat used to be nature, and we have cultivated cities and towns and buildings and homes as a way to genuinley distance ourselves from it, and it's harming us! 🌿Sacred Herbs by Opal Streisand is a very cute teeny tiny book about herbs and what they're good for <3 🌿Forest by Matt Collins was a super interesting read about a guy who went to different forests and tree locations and simply writes essays about his time there, coupled by photos by Roo Lewis, gorgeous cover!
