"i'm pretty sure i'd remember if we were best friends." andy shot back with a raised eyebrow.

"We're best friends. That—that's not something you forget."

"i don't know, you tell me." andy answered as her eyebrows furrowed together in confusion. "because i don't know what it is you are on about."

"It sure as hell feels like you're joking around," she let out a scoff as an arm gestured towards Andy. "Of course, you've— what the hell is going on?"

"i'm not joking around with you?" andy questioned with confusion. why would she be joking around about this? "you're from the other station right? i feel like i saw you before."

As soon as Andy turned around, Maya's expression fell. It wasn't excitement, but it was confusion. "Yeah," she nodded, brows furrowed together. "I am Maya. Don't joke around with me, Andy. C'mon."

as she heard her name andy turned around. her eyebrows furrowed together as she studied the other's face. "...you're maya, right?" she asked.
