with how the puppet imagery is ALL OVER the pizzaplex, with the nightmarionne plushies in particular being fucken everywhere, i ABSOLUTELY think charlie/puppet are around during pizzaplex times. shes still got work to do, theres still threats, and he cant move on until she knows there wont be any more needless violence tied to this god-awful franchise <3

as a spirit, charlie can't really... grow. he's stuck at eight years old. always. she'll always be in the exact same mindset he was as a child, like a piece of history that won't fade. it's strange to see people she knew as a child grow older, like michael -- who looked more and more like her killer every day. or her own father growing more and more weary and greying.

to him, it's like reliving the same day. so the dissonance is... uncomfortable. she'll often forget details if it wasn't something taught when he was alive

when charlie was alive, she'd be the type to keep bugs safe and name them. she never asked her dad to take care of bugs in the house, he was always far too busy after all, so she'd do it herself -- by putting them in cups and taking them outside very tenderly with a "there you go, little buggy!"

there's a light air to the puppets movements, as though she's drifting through water — a quality she's kept all these years. she moves slowly, limbs gliding along invisible waves to aid the daycare attendant's task. picking up a spare paintbrush, putting a paper plate away — not as efficient as sun, of course, but she always needs to help. always needs to be of use to others. always needs to alleviate ones struggles, however small.

" i never would've imagined moon would get embarrassed so easily... that's kind of funny. " her small voice snickers with an ethereal echo, one hand drifting upwards to her mask's mouth. she didn't know the attendants all too well yet, but as the idea's put in her head... she supposes it wouldn't be impossible. moon was a strange one, after all. " the music is very pretty, though. it's calming, despite... uhm... the kind of person moon is. "

then sun continues the conversation, and the puppet stops her movements to stare. the mask was as blank as always. but there's no hiding the excitement in her voice as she murmurs:

" you're a performer? you do theater? ohh, i never got to go to any theater when i was-- ... ah... uhm. anyway, that sounds so fun! i really like music and theater... did you get to perform on stage, mr. sun? ... can you tell me about it, please? "

it's like she's starstruck, now free hands falling together and held up to her mask's chin in a pantomime of a child's eager gaze.

sun hums at his name being said, head perking, though not entirely discontinuing his task, cleaning something up, it seems. he can multitask, of course, but--still, he tries to quickly finish up, so he can give the puppet his undivided attention. for now though, he still listens to her question, smiling brightly, as usual! 🌞‏‏‎ ‎ " o-hhh-h, isn't moonie's music-box so nice? it's so calming! i keep trying to get them to play it for me, but they get embarrassed, i think. " (sun loved to speak on his sibling, always hyping them up, even just in little ways. though, he couldn't help but also tease, just a little. balance!) 🌞‏‏‎ ‎ " but, ah... no, i sadly don't have my own music-box! but, but-but-but! i can sing, if that counts! the voice to moon's melody!
