𝙸𝙽𝙵𝙾: Annoying and so incredibly persistent ( especially to litho ) — it’s a miracle of they don’t get on someone’s nerves, does extremely well to meet the monthly quota and even helps others if they have the time — iris, flexible beyond reason and is able to get extra good intel from the places she can hide away in, slippery as an eel and extremely deft in getaways, often has trouble with what is summoned and makes it everyone else’s issue as well, definite adrenaline junkie.

is a kleptomaniac, loves to poke fun and be in places they shouldn’t be. gets along wonderfully with clarence ( almost two peas in a pod but he’s more.. stable / rational ). loose as a goose, a bit of an enabler but masterfully from the sidelines. 

he struggled with an undying love for adrenaline to make up for the lack of direction in their life. it didn’t matter if there were risks involved. as long as something got his blood going then he was all for it. it got her into a lot of trouble with just about any connection and relationship in existence. yet the endless worry from their loved ones and the brief run in with the law hardly stopped them from being so free spirited.

though he had the chance, he never did settle down to start a family of his own. all of their time was consumed by her work in the grittier side of the world instead. they were employed as anything from an informant to a muscle for hire — a jack of most trades. life had been good, really damn good, until it came to a sudden stop at a gas station.

the situation had spiraled out of control too fast for her to react accordingly. They were killed among three others in the robbery gone wrong. two shots to the chest and one to the side of the head ended their life.

when he accepted the deal he named himself ace. it wasn’t until days later did they figure out what their gift was — summoning. 

they are able to call upon an ally or guardian to help them, but is limited to one kind of ally at a time — usually something from a mythical realm (e.g. dragon, phoenix, chimera etc.).  the stronger and more experienced the summoner, the stronger, larger and more effective the ally. they are also able to be linked to more than one ally. although, the record of linked allies remains at a total of 3. allies can stay for as long as they wish or until dismissed, and can also choose not to appear when summoned.

* & HEADCANON — BEING SICK .

eun is arguably one of the worst to take care of when sick. doesn’t matter if he’s down with a fever or head cold — he’ll try to constantly do things like normal ( if not more ). manage to drag him into bed? better keep an eye on that door because theres a high chance he’ll tumble out, because there’s dishes to be done or the floor needs cleaning or the cat… scrubbing or the ceiling……. vacuuming

chanyeol is surprisingly the easiest to take care of when sick. he doesn’t get sick often, but whenever he does… it’s enough to keep him fairly docile. just the lightest urging and he’ll go wherever guided, drink whatever’s given to him, take whatever medicine. the only thing that may warrant some difficulties is whenever it comes to eating. he lacks all appetite for the most part.

ilseul’s a big ol’ baby whenever he gets sick. lots of whining and clinging ( which, don’t get trapped in those arms lest you want to be stuck for hours on end ). there always has to be some form of contact so just, like, hold his hand or something and he’ll be placated enough.

ari can be a hellion when they’re sick. lots of complaints and fighting and no they will not be taking medicine thank you very much. he has to be swaddled in blankets to chill out, but at that point just stuff them under the bed and they’ll recover eventually.

* & HEADCANON — ARI & SKILLS:

LOCK PICKING / CRACKING SAFES. Can’t be much of a thief if you can’t get into places you shouldn’t, and Air is notorious for jiggling locks cracking safes. Now, he’s no Stella Bridger from The Italian Job, but he can make do with the moderate strongboxes if needed. And as for locks — well, let’s just say he 'came by’ a very impressive set in his second life.

PARKOUR / ART OF ESCAPE. Yell do a flip! and Ari will do twenty. Not really, but they’re highly skilled when it comes to scaling things deemed impossible & gliding from roof to roof — no supernatural skilled required either. Something that might look a bit otherworldly is his slight talent with flexibility. Dislocating body parts to get out of restraints isn’t new to him. Cramming himself into spaces that shouldn’t be able to fit a person of his stature is like a walk in a park. If he has the mind to hide himself from danger and he can reach it? Chances are he’ll wish for the best and skitter along with the idea.

AGILITY / DEXTERITY VS. STRENGTH. Look at him. The guy’s not a string bean, but he’s not exactly a tank either. At a height of 6′3′’ and fairly muscled, Ari relies more on agility and dexterity than brute strength. They’re already flighty by nature, and has always been hardwired towards flight than fight. That being said, he can and will fight if absolutely needed. Yet even then, it’s more as a means of escape than to actually harm and/or murder.

CAMOUFLAGE. Pseudo apprentice to a well renown con artist, he’s the semi-human equivalent of a chameleon. Sure, he might be a bit tall, but he cracked the code of the mundane. One second he’s just a naïve looking interviewee, and the next he’s of the same branch that the prissy elites stemmed from. The art of blending in was a steep learning curve, but they can slip in with the masses and stay hidden — so long as they don’t make any small mistakes that is.

they’re both frequently used as bait. simple as that. except, the only difference is that ari thrives in it — the lead up, being so incredibly obnoxious that everyone has no choice but to be distracted by them. ari will hoot and holler in every which language they’ve taken the time to learn ( which is a considerable amount! ) and be that little shit once caught — if they can catch him. meanwhile insung is just deadpan and sighing like he’s bored out of his mind ( he is ).
