Hello Writeblr!

Because I must be organized from the get-go, otherwise everything will just become chaos...

I'm a fantasy author--epic/high, cozy, urban, grimdark, doesn't matter the genre, if it fits under the fantasy category, I've probably either written it or have a WIP that fits. I'm not new to tumblr, but I'm definitely new to writeblr, and I'm here to make friends and learn about cool new WIPs/books!

My penname is H. A. Titus and I'm perfectly used to answering to H or HA.

CURRENT WIP

A monster creeps along the edges of the Court boundaries, slaughtering any fey it can get its claws on.  As the Knights of the faerie queens, it falls to Perrie and Jasper to protect their courts. But in order to do so, they go against centuries of tradition and mistrust.  In a land of curses and secrets, they must unravel an ancient story and stop the slaughter, before the monster’s next targets—the queens—are destroyed, and the safe havens of all fey with them. The soft patter of rain just outside made for a quiet backdrop to their meeting. The smaller ( far from the younger ) pressed against the glass of that ornate window, feeling the vibrations of the tiny droplets as they fell against the panes. Dreamer looked ... complacent, for a bit. Not angered at the other’s commentary, not happy. Just ... thinking. Almost as if she wanted to say something more, but kept thinking better of it.

Eventually, the soft line of her mouth perked up to a smile. Subtle .. but there all the same. 

     “ I think that might have been the closest thing      to a compliment that I’ve ever heard from you. ”

Throwing her head back to look among the sky, watching the storm roll over the halls of this dreadful order. She could not stay for long - but she could stay long enough to answer. She turned back to Miya, violet hues long since lost their childish spark - filled instead with the calm, clear intent of a soul who was not about to lose what she ( what the third side ) had built up a second time.

who is your favorite character in 2 (Avatar)? Aang! One of the first characters that I really got attached to and still love to this day.

who is your least favorite character in 1 (TGP)? Hmmm wow that’s kind of a hard question, because I love all of the main characters and most of the side characters... The only one that ever kind of annoyed me was Mindy (from the Medium Place).

what is your favorite episode of 4 (TBT)? I don’t know, I like The Bold Type a lot but I don’t feel like it has episodes that really stand out.

what is your favorite season of 5 (Sense8)? Season 1 for sure haha, I only understood like 25% of what was happening in the second season.

who is your favorite couple in 3 (AWAE)? Anne and Gilbert <3

who is your favorite couple in 2 (Avatar)? Aang and Katara, the first couple I ever shipped, before I even knew what shipping was.

what is your favorite episode of 1 (TGP)? 1x13 for sure! There the big twist is revealed and it’s probably the best twist I’ve seen in any tv show. The series finale is a close second, I cried so much.

what is your favorite episode of 5 (Sense8)? 1x04, partly because of the ‘‘What’s Up’‘ karaoke scene, I just love how this episode really shows all of the chaarcters connecting more deeply.

what is your favorite season of 2 (Avatar)? The third season, this show basically got better with every season.

how long have you watched 1 (TGP)? I think season 1 was in the process of airing when I started watching it, and I’ve followed it weekly ever since.

how did you become interested in 3 (AWAE)? I kept seeing gifs on tumblr hahaha that’s how I get most of my show recommendations.

who is your favorite actor in 4 (TBT)? I have to go with Meghan Fahy (who plays Sutton); she’s gorgeous, she really brings her character to life, and she just has such a cool energy about her.

which do you prefer, 1 (TGP), 2 (Avatar), or 5 (Sense8)? Oh man I love all of them... But Avatar will always hold a special place in my heart.

which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 (TGP) or 3 (AWAE)? The Good Place has more episodes than Anne with an E and I’ve also rewatched it once, sooo that one.

if you could be anyone from 4 (TBT), who would you be? I would love to be Kat, her job seems really cool and her good heart and confidence are an inspiration.

would a crossover between 3 (AWAE) and 4 (TBT) work? Hahaha no definitely not, Anne with an E and The Bold Type are very much connected to their time and setting, and these could not be more different between the two shows. I can’t imagine the characters of either show being in the other show.

pair two characters in 1 (TGP) who would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple? Honestly, I really wanted to see Eleanor and Tahani as a couple.

overall, which show has the better storyline, 3 (AWAE) or 5 (Sense8)? Anne with an E; its story is very grounded and realistic. Not to say that that’s always better, but Sense8′s vague plot was like impossible to follow sometimes hahaha. But I love that both shows had storylines centered around human connections, both were really wholesome.

which has better theme music, 2 (Avatar) or 4 (TBT)? Avatar, no doubt about it! I listen to this soundtrack a lot and some tracks still cause me to spontaneously tear up.

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew to remarry? Odds on Royal Wedding after 'adorable' snap - Express

Sarah Ferguson and Prince of Andrew, both 59, have long since parted ways on a romantic level following the announcement of their separation on March 19 1992. However, the pair continued to stay friends, with Sarah, also known as Fergie, recently posting a birthday tribute to the Duke of York. The couple have two children together – Princess Beatrice, 30, and Princess Eugenie, 28. Recently, their younger daughter took to Instagram to post some throwback snaps of her parents.

Posting in view of the 646,000 Instagram followers, Princess Eugenie posted side-by-side photos of her mum and dad as youngsters.

She went on to tag them both in the caption, as well as writing: “#tbt to my parents being adorable.”

The post delighted royal fans, with many expressing their delight for the family.

Other Instagram users who swooned over the pictures were quick to share their hopes that the duo would reignite their relationship and potentially even remarry.

Beside two love heart emojis, one person wrote: “Thanks for sharing !! I hope they remarry!!”

“They should get back together they’re made for each other,”(sic) penned another.

A third gushed: “Fingers crossed for them …. I truly hope someday they’ll remarry…”

Meanwhile, a fourth fan claimed: “Wow what a brilliant photo of them both so young, think its time for you and your sister to get them back together they love each other, you could see that at both weddings.”

The Duke and Duchess of York have given no indication that they plan to get back together.

But, should you be a betting person, the latest odds on the matter have now been revealed.

According to the bookmakers Coral, the probability that the pair will remarry at any point in the future currently stand at 2-1.

However, the likelihood of the pair announcing they are engaged or are planning to wed again by the end of 2019 are far lower.

In fact, the chances stand at 8-1, according to Coral.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “It’s been a long time since they divorced but it’s been a manic few years for the Royal family and Prince Andrew and Fergie tying the knot again is something we simply can’t rule out.

“At 2-1 for any time in the future, it’s certainly a lot more likely than some might think.”

Sarah Ferguson: Five facts about the Duchess of York

Childhood

Sarah is the second daughter of Major Ronald Ferguson and Susan Mary Wright.

Her parents divorced in 1974, with her mother going on to marry polo player Héctor Barrantes in 1975 and moving to Argentina. Sarah stayed in the UK with her father, who remarried in 1976 and went on to have three more children.

Wedding

Sarah married Prince Andrew on 23 July 1986 at Westminster Abbey in London.

On top of commercial endeavours, the Duchess devotes plenty of time to charity, including Children in Crisis, which she founded in 1993.

Social media

Fergie, as she is known to friends, uses both Twitter and Instagram.

She has over 200,000 followers across the platforms, and shares many insights in to her life.

Most of the Royal Family are not on social media, but are represented by Kensington Palace, Buckingham Palace, or Clarence House.

Sarah’s daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, are the exception, with both joining their mother on social media.

This £50.4m-rated ace would be the ideal Aubameyang replacement for Arsenal – Opinion

As transfer talks escalate and clubs hone in on their target, it’s looking more and more likely that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang won’t be in an Arsenal shirt for much longer.

Due to the current financial climate and with Mesut Özil still on the club’s books with his mammoth £350,000 per week wage, the Gunners may not be able to afford to keep Aubameyang at the club. The Gabon international’s current contract is almost up, meaning unless a sale is finalised quickly, Arsenal could see their star player leave the Emirates next summer for nothing.

With three clubs very interested in his signature, Mikel Arteta and co have options in Real Madrid, Barcelona and Chelsea. But while a move for Aubameyang may be easy, finding a replacement will be much trickier.

However, according to Sport (via Metro), Barca are looking to offload Ousmane Dembele, with Liverpool and Arsenal reportedly interested. Football FanCast has delved into why the Frenchman could be an ideal signing for the Gunners.

Proven in Front of Goal

Although Dembele has only featured nine times for Barcelona this season, his previous years do all the talking. Last campaign, the 22-year-old netted 14 goals and assisted nine from either a left or right-wing position. He had less playing time in the previous season but still tallied four goals and nine assists.

But his season with Dortmund is arguably his most impressive. Dembele earned himself an impressive ten goals and 21 assists in the 2016/17 term, finishing the third highest assister in the Bundesliga with 13. Ten of those assists were to tee up former teammate Aubameyang (via WhoScored).

During his time in Germany, the then-teenager was praised for his keen eye and ability to put goals on a plate for his teammates. His partnership with Aubameyang made them the most clinical duo in terms of assist-to-goal combinations across the top five European leagues.

Lacazette Links

With the club unlikely to let both their senior strikers leave, the 28-year-old could flourish working alongside fellow native Dembele. The winger would be perfect for creating chances into the box. Lacazette – who will more than likely become Arsenal’s focus man up front – will need a pacy teammate with the vision to help create goalscoring opportunities.

As demonstrated with Aubameyang, Dembele is able to create golden chances whilst also netting them with ease himself. Although his creativity is a huge threat, his most desirable asset is arguably his versatility. Able to play across any of the three attacking positions, the 22-year-old’s ability to adapt will help cater to Arsenal’s squad against tougher opponents.

Teamed up with fellow versatile forward Eddie Nketiah, who can also play in any front three position, the two could be deadly in dominating the wide spaces. Lacazette could also find himself operating in the No.9 role in every game, supported by the two young wingers. That will certainly be a welcome thought after spending the majority of this season on the bench.

Potential to Grow

Barcelona have made their stance on Dembele clear and are looking to offload him in the next transfer window. The Frenchman is open to a move elsewhere and has revealed he is interested in joining the Premier League.

With Arteta giving chances to young talent such as Nketiah and Gabriel Martinelli, Dembele could see himself become a regular starter and eventual ever-present figure in this Arsenal side. The winger has proved he can adapt to new challenges after previously playing in Ligue 1, the Bundesliga and La Liga – it makes sense for an ambitious player to take on a move to the Premier League while he’s still young.

Barcelona haven’t announced Dembele’s price but are reportedly wanting to make back as much of the original £135.5million as they can. His price tag may be steep but his current Transfermarkt value is just £50.4m at the moment.

Arsenal should view the Frenchman as an investment to their current project and someone who should almost definitely be able to get them results.

With only a little more than 100 followers, Bill’s daughter, Jill tweeted asking users to show some support for his dad’s account and make it viral. Her Christmas wish came true early and @myhotelcarpet has since gone extremely viral as he grew from just a few hundred followers to whopping 628k followers now!!

When asked to share the inspiration behind the account, Bill said “I started noticing how obnoxious a lot of these carpets are… Completely unlike anything you’d see in a house, often very intricate and gaudy”. Beatie Wolfe interview: Musician explains why she's selling new album Montagu Square on a shirt, but not in record shops

John Walsh meets a pioneering songwriter Beatie Wolfe

Montagu Square, the second album by the Anglo-American singer-songwriter Beatie Wolfe, is out this week, but you won’t find it on the shelves in HMV. You can download it from iTunes, Amazon and Google Play, you can buy a lyric book with a CD insert from her website, and you can get the tracks on a deck of “intelligent” cards provided you’ve got an Android phone on which to play them. Oh, and it’s also available as a shirt.

Ms Wolfe, 27, takes an unusual approach to the dissemination of music. Though her songs of love, yearning and regret are bouncily melodic in a nicely old-fashioned, verse-and-chorus way, and her inspirations are 20th-century – Beatles, Nina Simone, Otis Redding – her productions are crazily techno-futuristic. Her first album, 8ight, for example, was available as a 3D interactive album mobile app, available on iPhone. 

“People ask why I’m so technically innovative, but I don’t think I am,” the elfin Wolfe told me when we met, “I just have a fondness for bringing together things that enhance each other.”

Her new album’s titular address is a rock’n’ roll shrine. Ringo Starr leased the ground floor of No 34 Montagu Square in 1965, when The Beatles were two years into their world-conquering career, and sub-let it to Paul McCartney, who wrote “Eleanor Rigby” there. When Paul left, Ringo sub-let it to Jimi Hendrix who wrote “The Wind Cries Mary” there – but he and his manager, Chas Chandler, were kicked out for painting the walls black, while tripping. In 1968, John Lennon and Yoko Ono moved in, after Lennon had split from his family home. Remember the couple’s naked bottoms on the cover of the Two Virgins album? They were photographed at No 34. As I say: a shrine. 

Wolfe decided to record a live single at the flat after meeting its owner, David Mason, who runs Anthony Sinclair, the Mayfair tailors who supplied James Bond’s suits in the early 007 films: another Sixties connection. In a further elaboration, Wolfe linked up with a textile label called Beatwoven who use audio technology to transfer sound patterns to textiles. 

Last month, veteran music hacks and young whippersnappers from Wired and BBC6 stood in Mason’s flat, surrounded by photos of Lennon, McCartney and Hendrix, and watched Ms Wolfe record her gorgeous new single, “Take Me Home”, and have it transferred sonically on to a fabric that will become a shirt, sold by Mason to gentlemen clients, and a silk gown worn by Wolfe herself.  “Everything worked together that night,” she recalled. “The live recording, the history of the room, the collective memories of everyone there, the clapping – it’s all in the geometrical pattern that’s being woven in silk.” 

She grew up in London surrounded by counterculture luminaries. Her father, Rick Watson, an antiquarian bookseller from Portland, Oregon, moved to California and, through his contacts with Lawrence Ferlinghetti and the Beat poets, befriended the Rolling Stones. “I found out about the Stones connection only a few years ago,” says Wolfe. “I thought my father was just a dry old bookseller, but ‘Sympathy for the Devil’ came on the car radio one day and he said, ‘There’s a line about me in this song.’ It was, ‘And I laid traps for troubadours/ To get killed before they reached Bombay.’ When Dad and Chris Jagger tagged along with the Stones in India, the band played pranks on them because they were annoying whimsical poets.” Her mother, Virginia Boston, was a journalist, who co-wrote a study of punk with Danny Baker. 

It wasn’t surprising that Wolfe embraced music precociously early. She wrote her first song, the sapphically titled “You Can’t Get Away from Me, Girl,” at eight. At 15, she sang in a grunge band called Aurum. “Very dark, very angsty stuff, with titles like ‘Troubled,’ ‘Misery,’ ‘Asylum’ and ‘Let it Boil’ – I remember thinking, ‘When I’m older, will I look back and think this was my best contribution to the world?’” 

Studying English at Goldsmiths College, London, she wrote her third-year dissertation on the poetry of Leonard Cohen, in the teeth of teacherly dispproval. It was posted online, where it came to the attention of Cohen’s agent, Robert Cory. With his encouragement, Wolfe set the singer’s poem “A Thousand Kisses Deep” to music; she’s still waiting for Cohen’s reaction, but her dearest wish is to open for the Montreal Miserablist on his next tour. 

A striking woman with a confident guitar style and a voice that can carry off husky intros and belting climaxes, she doesn’t appear much on the summer festival circuit. Why not? “I like festivals provided you can have control of the sound, that you can feel a sense of intimacy with the audience, and that the lyrics can be heard. They’re fundamental to me. I don’t want the words to be lost in the white noise.” 

What does she most want to happen to her? A No 1 single? “I don’t care about that stuff,” she says pertly. “I’ve always wanted to make music for generations to come, to leave behind a great catalogue. And on the entrepreneurial side, to open people’s eyes to what music can do.”
