Para ter ideia de magnitude e escopo, pode-se enxergar a marca da família dela como a Nike do Médio Oriente, estando atrás somente da própria Nike. Mas os Aksoy são dinheiro antigo, então são líderes em diversos setores, como distribuição, construção civil, hotelaria etc.

Asli frequentou um internato só para garotas quase toda a sua vida. Então entrou na faculdade, mas não chegou a concluir.

Ela é noiva de um mauricinho nova-iorquino, filho de um político que, ao contrário dela, quer seguir os mesmos passos dos pais, mesmo sendo um talento do cinema. it was love at first sight when prince edward windsor of england met american super model cynthia van buren, and despite protests from the palace, the two were wed and cynthia left her glamorous, los angeles life for a life of service, primp and properness at buckingham palace.

despite cynthia changing her entire image going from party girl to the picture perfect image of the rules of the crown, the queen, edward's grandmother, never accepted her and there was often tension between the two women.

however, as edward and cynthia went on to have four children of their own, the queen dotted on them immensely, especially their youngest daughter, adelaide.

as the last born daughter to the windsor's, adelaide was spoiled from the time she was a little girl and had everyone wrapped around her finger with her big blue eyes and rosy cheeks, especially the queen.

everyone used to call her 'the queen's shadow.' from the time she was a little girl, she wanted to do everything she did, wanted to be around her and wanted to be just like her, there was nobody that she admired more, even though she often had to fight for her affections against her cousins - who were higher in the line of succession than she'd ever be.

while her father's brother and his family more often than not tried to make her feel less than because of it, the queen never did. she was kind and caring and patient with adelaide, simply because she was the great grandchild that expressed the most interest in the crown, in serving the public and in all in all, being a good person.

now, that didn't come without some sort of ego. with diamonds on her head from the time she was a little girl, it was hard not to develop a holier than thou personality that those around her certainly picked up on.

she was never one to have many friends or a bustling social life, wasn't one for boyfriends or 'teenage things' and even in her private life, carried that properness through every facet of her identity.

however, that identity and her entire foundation was rocked last year when the queen died and adelaide certainly took it the hardest out of everyone in her family.

with her grandfather taking over the crown and her uncle and his children now being next in line, adealide and her family got pushed to the sidelines - not involved in anything major anymore, private meetings and discussions being held without them in attendance, it was like they were knocked so far down in the line of succession that it didn't matter anymore.

and after a year of taking this, cynthia and edward had enough and decided to move their family back to where cynthia is from - los angeles, california.

with nothing left for her in england and no where else to go, adelaide had no choice but to reluctantly follow her family and has hated every minute of it.

she looks down at los angeles and hollywood as a whole, looking at it as a cesspool of disgust and disappointment but now with the queen gone, her whole life is shifted and she has no idea who she is or what she's going to do with her life now.

as far as relationships, she's been a hopeless romantic from the time she was a little girl, hoping some day she'd get that story book, fairytale love story - so much so that she hasn't even been kissed, and has been holding off for the person who makes her feel like a movie.

How I feel about this character: I liked her better in the first two seasons,before her romance with Chidi overtook both their personalities(although she did have great moments in S3 and S4).

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Frankly,no one. I used to like her with Chidi in S1 and S2.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: All the Cockroaches.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I wish they kept her independent,resourceful personality in the later seasons. In fact,S2 had hit the perfect spot with her overcoming her trauma and relying on others/making friends while still getting shit done.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Having Eleanor go back to Earth in order to help fix it in the finale,instead of the whole door thing. In S3(one of her stellar moments),after learning she and the other human Roaches were doomed to the Bad Place,she decided to save the most people she could just because "It was better than not trying". Besides,Eleanor was always a fighter,even before her character development. Therefore,having her go to Earth and try to improve it would be the perfect culmination of her arc - her using grit and wit to make a better world,and even using community and good coping skills to deal with any ennui related to said activism. A great combination of her original positive traits(resourcefulness,resilience) and acquired ones(becoming selfless and empathic,forming bonds and using them to be stronger). Bonus points if Chidi also goes to Earth with a similar goal,but his is more related to applying his vast knowledge on a complicated place. Also,she gets to occasionally meet the other Roaches,and they exchange experiences of doing good.

a headcanon fact: If we're going by canon,Eleanor's sparks affected con artists and made them give the first step towards living an honest life.

My unpopular opinion about this character: I can't see her as anything other than straight(maybe this is because I've never shipped her with any woman). Each to their own,tho.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I wish she was the Experiment Architect. Tahani's parties-and-events related skillset was already primed to it:she's good at organizing and keeping things smooth,reading and manouvering the general mood,probably good with unforseen circumstances. Besides,it would've been a great opportunity to challenge her and make her grow as a character,not to mention foreshadow her decision in the finale.

a headcanon fact: Sometimes,Tahani's fundraising didn't help anyone - at least,before she died. While Tahani didn't use the charities for nefarious ends(other than to strike her own ego),she stood by while other rich,powerful people did the same,despite having the power to fight said corruption. She didn't want to rock the boat,and didn't give a fuck about the people she supposedly helped. However,as an afterlife architect,Tahani makes a point of fighting any possible corruption in her midst(maybe I created this HC in particular because I find it hard to believe those demons are truly well-intentioned,but that's a me thing).
