I love looking up candidates for local elections because they really just count on enough people not giving a shit as their path to victory.
#one guy earlier this year was running for a board of education seat with no education experience whatsoever. he was just a businessman#who thought the schools needed a budget cut and he wanted to do it lmao#this time we have a lady running for judge and she said it’s important to be unbiased and not see party as a judge#…and then went on to complain it’s not fair how our very dem-leaning county has a majority of dem judges and it should be forced#to be a 50-50 split. dumb as hell you’re just mad this isn’t a republican county lol#LOOK UP LOCAL SHIT it directly affects you with taxes and funding local initiatives.
