Oedipus Rex (Sophocles) "The terrible knowledge that he has murdered his father and married his mother drives Oedipus to stab out his eyes rather than continue to see and know."
Orange is for Anguish Blue for Insanity (David Morrell) "A guy watches as his friend Myers becomes obsessed with a famous painter van Dorn. He is certain the paintings hide some sort of a mystery, and is determined to uncover it. Myers departs to France, to live in a little village where van Dorn experienced the awakening of his talent, hoping that repeating his daily routine will provide some clues. A little later the protagonist receives a telegram beckoning him to France: Myers, as all of the researchers before him, gouged out his eyes. Myers dies before the protagonist arrives to the village, in the same hospital and of the same wound as van Dorn. intrigued by the mystery, the protagonist stays there to uncover the secrets of this place. This story is driven by characters' desire to uncover the truth, even as their friends and well-meaning villagers beg them to let the secret stay hidden, even as they realise they are destroying themselves - curiosity is stronger than their sense of safety."
Spoilers below cut
The protagonist manages to find a valley where a meteorite a passage to hell, and if you get too close a damned soul will burrow itself into your eyes and brain. It is unbearably painful and changes your vision as you start seeing damned souls crawling over everything in sight. This was a secret of van Dorns paintings - if you focused your eyes just right, you could see these demons in every inch of peaceful landscapes that gave van Dorn his fame. Tortured by migraines, the protagonist resists the urge to gouge his eyes out and paints, because depicting what he sees is the only thing able to alleviate the pain.

ok so I’m trying to figure out exactly why David would be killing the women if they’re providing for him. Why not settle with one woman and be set for life instead of making things complicated by murdering them? (+ other questions abt him in genera)
(i literally just finished watching the movie, so im probably forgetting some things)
In that one scene with Haines he mentions being raised in a military family, always moving around, and being raised by his mother who stole money from his dad, then giving some to him. Then after his mother died he started dating and usually looked for older and richer women.
Perhaps he never felt that any other woman could match up to his mother and that’s why he feels the need to get rid of them?
And his rant at his home where he blows up and rants about men being treated as sex objects, or being held to a different standard than women, how women get no judgement for taking money in exchange for their services… I think he’s wrong about that because women are indeed judged by society for doing those things that he’s saying that they can get away with just because they’re women (aka the terms: “goldigger” or “slut”). But in a way I understand what he might be referring to, like society looking down on emotional/vulnerable men, guys who take unconventional roles in relationships (ex: househusband), etc etc.
(He probably could’ve been doing that for his sob story to get Haines to feel bad for him, but anyways)

Facts about Greek Myths?
There are a great many figures in Greek myth and they can be hard to keep track of, so here is a quick guide to which is which:
Ajax- Warrior who invented detergent.
Antigone- Funeral enthusiast who invented civil disobedience.
Atlas- First winner of the Olympic strong titan competition.
Bellerophon- Plot point in Mission Impossible 2.
Cerberus- 7 headed dog tragically born with only 3 heads.
Charon- Lead rower for Styx.
Cratus- God of strength, but not THAT god of strength.
Cyclops- Inventor of the monocle.
Daedalus- Inventor of the Labyrinth, and thus of David Bowie.
Dionysus- Drank 24/7 but very responsibly never drove.
Eris- Goddess of fighting with each other.
Eros- God of doing something else with each other.
Euronymous- God of Mayhem.
Fates- Least creatively named destiny gods ever.
Hera- Goddess of marriage yet only Zeus's third wife.
Hylia- Goddess of triangles and disjointed timelines.
Icarus- God of disappointing ones father.
Io- Space captain and epic 3D short film, still not on blu-ray.
Jocasta- Originator of Jo Mama jokes, mother of Oedipus.
Leda- Swan enthusiast and feathery-fandom originator.
Medea- Even worse mom than Jocasta.
Medusa- Inventor of reptile-safe shampoo.
Megaclite- LOL her name is "Megaclite." Pronounced like "Clitty."
Narcissus- Basically Trump.
Odysseus- Sailor who refused to ask for directions.
Orpheus- Inventor of impatiently checking the download bar.
Ouranos- Spelling that could've avoided a lot of planet butt jokes.
Pallas- Inventor of weird looking cats.
Persephone- Pomegranate fan, looked like Monica Bellucci.
Prometheus- Stupid fucking movie, especially for using some of H.R. Giger's original designs then putting them up next to a fucking plain white squid. Also let's make the space jockey a tall guy in a suit. How did Scott think that was a good idea? Fuck that shit and double fuck Covenant for somehow doing even fucking worse.
Rhode- Sea nymph yet not technically an island.
Siren- Inverse groupie.
Sisyphus- Limp Biscuit fan who never stopped rolling.
Tantalus- I'll tell you in a minute...
Thanatos- God of dying as easily as snapping your fingers.
Zeus- When the earth was still flat and the clouds made of fire, and mountains stretched up to the sky, sometimes higher- Folks roamed the earth like big rolling kegs. They had two sets of arms, they had two sets of legs. They had two faces peering out of one giant head so they could watch all around them as they talked and they read. And they never knew nothing of love. It was before the origin of love. There were three sexes then: One that looked like two men glued up back to back, called the children of the sun. Similar in shape and girth were the children of the earth. They looked like two girls rolled up in one. The children of the moon were like a fork shoved on a spoon, they were part sun, part earth- Part daughter, part son. Now the gods grew quite scared of our strength and defiance and Thor said, "I'm gonna kill them all with my hammer, like I killed the giants." And Zeus said, "No, you better let me use my lightening like scissors, like I cut the legs off the whales, and dinosaurs into lizards." Then he grabbed up some bolts and he let out a laugh, and said, "I'll split them right down the middle. Gonna cut them right up in half." And then storm clouds gathered above into great balls of fire, and fire shot down from the sky in bolts like shining blades of a knife and it ripped right through the flesh of the children of the sun and the moon and the earth. If you want the rest, see Hedwig and the Angry Inch cuz this is taking way longer to type than I expected.

ok so ive been rewatching psychoville and saw on the wikipedia that there were a bunch of websites made for the series (they were all written by reece and steve btw) which i've been looking through cos they are genuinely SO fucking funny & also just amazingly creative lol!
anyway i know people in the fandom probs already know about this (since the show came out literally 15 years ago pfft) but i thought i'd share some of my fav bits (but honestly would just recommend just checking them out if you haven't i have been crying with laughter for literally hours lol)
i will say that a lot of the media (videos, games, etc) no longer work on the archived sites rip but i'm sure people have uploaded some of the stuff (vids especially) to yt or other places lol
Tumblr media
so a) i love that we get some background stuff on jelly and 2) 'captain CRACKERS' bernie clifton's dressing room reference question mark ??????? (ofc bcdr was AFTER this but i know love the idea that mr jelly trained under len pfft)
Tumblr media
what that red raw stump do though 👀 (sorry pfffft)
mr jolly's website wasn't that interesting soz tho i did like him comparing being a doctor to being a clown lol
Tumblr media
the comment about fag bears did make me wheeze i'm afraid lol i also loved the blurry photos of lomax's commodities lol (kinda reminded me of the bit in tlog w/ that terrible old photographer guy lol)
Tumblr media
when i tell you i DIED with laughter at the 'now known as hull' bit like u just know reece wrote that bit pfft
Tumblr media
not really a funny thing but this poem written by david honestly kinda breaks my heart lol... i think it also a lot of additional context to david's guilt when he thought he'd killed his father(faver) because perhaps he felt guilty about NOT feeling guilty you get me? like, it felt to me that when maureen told david it was SHE who killed her husband, it didn't feel like he was mad at her for doing it, but more that she kept the fact from him. it's about... the mutual oedipus-coded obsession with one another that couldn't even be destroyed in death and in this essay i will....
Tumblr media
ghoul_lass23 is just like me but about tumblr lol fr
Tumblr media
nothing feels more cursed than the phrases 'the river minge has burst its banks', 'crying creamy tears' and 'fleshy rapunzel' (which i've just noticed they misspelt lol... don't think that was intentional lol?) so if i had to read this so do you <3
Tumblr media
the way that i kinda wish this actually existed tho pfft... also, it does kinda remind me of that video where jenny nicholson talked about that insane reality show 'opposite worlds' lol
Tumblr media
'cross between seven and glee' is honestly sending me pfft
also on this part there was a script from stinkfinger (which is a show mentioned on the show) which sounded suspiciously like a reference to tlc lol
Tumblr media
the less said about swastknickers the better
(will say i did nearly piss myself laughing at the nazi section of the hoity toity website lol which wasn't a sentence i thought i'd type today lol)
Tumblr media
i just love these kinds of jokes pfft
also the whole biography sections of each of the pantomime cast are fab lol tho i AM kinda pissed they made debbie from yeovil and yet didn't give her a west country accent lol!!! (i guess they thought it'd be a bit much w/ joy being bristolian but i'm still mad about it lol)
also i know people have probably already pointed this out but i do find it funny that brian in the in9 episode last night of the proms is a closeted gay guy who likes watching drag was probably a reference to brian in this show that was a drag queen like... is anything these guys do NOT a reference??? u know those gaylor fans who obsessively look for clues in her songs about her apparent secret sexuality? all i'm saying is that i think they'd really like the extended reece shearsmith & steve pemberton universe pfft
Tumblr media
all three of these made me cry with laughter lol
Tumblr media
ohh this is interesting lol so obviously they suspected that some people might be all 'um why didn't the sprinklers go off during the fire at ravenhill? plot hole much!' so they wrote this into one of the websites so they could be like SEE! WE'RE ONE STEP AHEAD OF YOU DUMBASSES lol
Tumblr media
both the jeremy kyle reference (remember when that was a thing? yikes... my mum used to watch his show CONSTANTLY...) and nurse kenshington's thoughts on david and maureen are interesting lol.. also there's a reference to the serial killer top trumps in this bit lol! (do people still play top trumps?? man i LOVED top trumps lol...)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the entire sunnyvale care home section is so fucking funny (both the website AND in the show lol mrs wren/mrs ladybird face is unironically probably my favourite character on the entire show) these were just some of my fav gags lol...
Tumblr media
ok but why is this the SECOND reference to a guy punching a child who was apparently looking at his dick lol!??!! did this happen to one of you ??!!?!? reece did you punch a child ??!???!?!??
&&&& that's it lol
there were a few websites i didn't spend long on or generally weren't that interesting (coughmidgetgemscough) but honestly? i was really captivated with just how funny and well put together all these sites were! you can tell they had a lot of fun making it and i'm sure fans at the time LOVED being able to have this semi-interactive element of the show lol
there was just something so wonderfully late 00's about these websites lol i genuinely don't think i've laughed this much at anything in literal months and all of this is just solidifies that psychoville is a criminally under-appreciated masterpiece lol

hii, if you ever feel like it, i think it would be awesome if you made a list of greek mythology books (the ones you like or recommend, both tragedies and comedies) in order you'd prefer to have read them. as a complete beginner who's very interested in getting into greek mythology books and likes your blog, i think i'd like that very much :)
if you're a beginner i can definitely give you some recommendations!! the order thing is tricky because i mean, the timeline gets kinda wonky with greek mythos. it's a whole variety of mythos from different people, in different parts of ancient greece, at different points in time in ancient greece, so it doesn't all neatly follow one easily understandable timeline like a multi part book series would (like say, asoiaf or the vampire chronicles.. not that tvc isn't also kinda messy but i digress 💀) so it's not like i can be like "oh you should read x euripides play which would come after x sophocles play followed chronologically by this aeschylus play" even with the iliad and the odyssey, you could read the odyssey first if you wanted. i might even recommend that you do. the iliad has a lot of names and will go into multiple pages of lore on a character you will literally never see again and also the cataloguing the ships it just can be a tad overwhelming if you're new to it all 😭 for someone who's never read it before i'd usually recommend the fagles translation (for both)
it also depends on what you want to get into. greek mythology is big i mean i could list like a hundred different things for you to read. so you like both tragedy & comedy, thats a good start! are there any specific characters you're particularly curious about? i could always recommend you stuff i know of that features them
but just going generally, if you wanna hold off on the iliad and the odyssey and maybe start smaller then i really recommend plays. they're usually a fairly short read. i mentioned some plays (and translations) here (lots of euripides lol) but also i'll throw in a few more for you here and like i said, it really doesn't matter what order you read these in. you also don't have to read the translations i recommend, they're just the ones i have read and thus can speak on. honestly i recommend looking at the different options of translators & using that like couple pages of preview they give you online to see who's you think you want to read.
tragedies:
oedipus rex, oedipus at colonus, antigone (i read antigone solo, and then went back and read the other two, but you can read them in the order listed too) all by sophocles. i've read the fagles translation and i honestly can't remember who's antigone i read originally. i borrowed it from my local library in high school sorry, but fagles' is really good!
trojan women (i read james morwood trans) & hecuba (i read william arrowsmith trans) both by euripides. these do take place post-iliad if that matters to you and you'd like to read the iliad first.
ajax (also takes place post-iliad) and philoctetes (the trojan war is still ongoing here but it is also after the events of the iliad as achilles is already dead) both by sophocles. you could read ajax first since it's mentioned in philoctetes that odysseus has achilles armor already so you would assume this is after the events of ajax. for ajax i read john moore's & philoctetes i read david grene.
comedies:
i'll admit i haven't read as many comedies yet! really i've only read aristophanes. i already recommended lysistrata in the other ask i linked so let me give you a couple different ones.
the frogs. this is about dionysus going to the underworld to get euripides back and save athens. it's a political satire. also everything about what aristophanes and euripides had going on is hilarious. i read david barret's (updated) translation
women at the thesmophoria. this one is a play in which euripides gets accused of misogyny and asks agathon to dress up as a woman and spy on this all women festival but then agathon thinks the will get discovered and so euripides in law goes in his place. i also read david barret's for this one.
that's actually all. lol. i'm hoping to read the birds by him but i haven't yet. i read the clouds too but it was so long ago i don't even remember it i'd have to reread before saying anything
bonus: this isn't a play but if you're curious about the gods and more stories involving them you should check out the homeric hymns! i have the jules cashford translation. there's also the orphic hymns which i read right here
hopefully this is helpful? sorry if it's.. a lot 😭

disability studies & classics: some introductory texts!
as a disclaimer, this is not a complete list and not intended to be. i don't necessarily agree with everything in these texts, either – i'd be happy to discuss what i like/don't any time :-) that said, i included them because i find them useful or important or because i liked them enough i wanted to talk about them. further, not all of these texts are accessible (as in, free and online); send me an ask or message me if you want access to something & if i can i will send it to you.
in case you're looking for more sources but don't know where to find a good list, this – though as of posting (may 2023) is two years out of date – is a list of works on disability in the ancient world. it's very cool!!
disability theory/crip theory
Keywords For Disability Studies (book, edited by Rachel Adams, Benjamin Reiss, and David Serlin) - this series of essays can be really helpful in situating yourself. i find them occasionally a bit oversimplified, but overall they're pretty good, especially if you're new to the field.
Beginning With Disability: A Primer (book, edited by Lennard Davis) - this is another helpful way to situate yourself! i haven't read all of it, but i found the introduction pretty informative for dipping your toes into disability studies :-)
Disability Goes Cultural: The Cultural Model of Disability as an Analytical Tool (book chapter, by Anne Waldschmidt ) [open access on jstor here: https://www.jstor.org/stable/j.ctv1xxs3r.5] - this article to me has its flaws but ultimately contains what i think is the most useful model for articulating & analyzing disability in the ancient world.
if you're interested in more specific disability theory stuff, feel free to send me an ask!
books/articles on greece and rome
truthfully, this is the danger zone for me as a latinist, who finds a lot of stuff supposedly on greece and rome to ultimately be about greece. further, i have bones to pick with these books, but they remain either the best we've got or otherwise foundational:
Mental Disorders in the Classical World (book, ed. William V. Harris) very medical, but still kind of interesting to look at and i haven't found anything better?
The Eye of the Beholder: Deformity and Disability in the Graeco-Roman World (book, Robert Garland) the foundational work but i kind of dislike it, tbh.
Prosthetics and Assistive Technology in Ancient Greece and Rome (book, Jane Drycott) i haven't read much of this yet, but i like drycott and this is going to be my post graduation treat!
Life as a Cyclops: Mythology and the Mockery of the Visually Impaired (article, Jane Drycott) really enjoyed!
Why does classical reception need disability studies? (article, Hannah Silverblank and Marchella Ward) i found parts of this preachy and wasn't super pleased with the thoroughness of the scholarship, but here we are!
A Cultural History of Disability in Antiquity (book, ed. Christian Laes) i don't like laes much but i found some chapters of this really enjoyable
Disability Studies and the Classical Body (book, ed. Ellen Adams) NOT OUT YET!!!!! but very excited for it.......
books & articles on greece
ancient greece has way more scholarship when it comes to disability, or at least this is my experience. i'm less interested in greece, but i still have a lot of articles and books i like + some i know are integral to the field. this is kind of an eclectic list of things i know are Important vs just neat lmao:
The Staff Of Oedipus (book): truthfully, i've only ever read the chapter on blindness (which i enjoyed!). it's not a perfect book, but it's so foundational and can be pretty interesting
The Discourse of Disability in Ancient Greece (article) - one of my favorite articles! i love rereading this :-) i think it's got some super interesting analysis on lysias 24 and the word ἀδύνατος. really cool if you're interested in the construction of "disability" as an identity.
Hephaestus the Hobbling Humorist: The Club-Footed God in the History of Early Greek Comedy (article) - i really enjoyed this article because of how it presents hephaestus, tbqh. im not sure how good it is – dying to hear from hellenists about it, actually – but hephaestus as funny because he's disabled (but not in an ableist way) was very interesting.
"Breathe Upon Us an Even Flame": Hephaestus, History, and the Body of Rhetoric (article) – in all honesty, i don't like this article very much, but what dolmage is doing is super interesting (trying to reconsider hephaestus as a figure), and so i included it. worth taking a look at.
Temporary versus Long-term Madness (article) - this article was a lot of fun for me.
books & articles on rome
full disclosure, i'm a latinist. i love rome. there's less out there but i have so, so much more to say about it. some good places to start:
Approaching Disabilities a Capite ad Calcem: Hidden Themes in Roman Antiquity (book, edited by C.F. Goodey, Christian Laes, and M. Lynn Rose) - this has some problems; i hate christian laes a lot but he's very good at citing lots of ancient examples! overall, the individual essays in this make it better than laes' own book, but they are disjointed.
Disabilities and the Disabled in the Roman World: A Social and Cultural History (book, by Christian Laes) - did i mention i hate christian laes? i don't like how he writes about disability, and at the same time he's incredibly prolific and good at citing ancient sources, so he's incredibly useful. read him if you want ancient examples, but be wary of how he talks about disability, because i think he fails as an abled person to think of disability as anything but bad.
Heroes and Outcasts: Ambiguous Attitudes Towards Impaired and Disfigured Roman Veterans (article, by Van Lommel) - i don't remember how situated van lommel is in disability studies, but i found this article & his work in general on roman veterans interesting enough to include.
there's so, so much more out there! this is just a taste! i tried to be conservative so as not to overwhelm, and even then this reading list is huge. i'm sure in a couple months i'll want to revamp this post lmao but i wanted it to be out there so people can at least see it esp since i promised to write this months ago. disability studies and classics is SO much fun and so novel and so exciting. so much to learn! so much to talk about! if you're interested in a specific topic, i can see if i can help you find more on it, but please keep in mind im currently only a student :-)

Criminal Minds characters as Greek Gods: Pt 2
“Never honor the gods in one breath and take the gods for fools the next.” ― Sophocles, Oedipus Rex
Aaron Hotchner - Zeus - King of Olympus
Tumblr media
Zeus was the chief deity of the pantheon. He was called the father (i.e., the ruler and protector) of both gods and men. Hesiod described Zeus as a god who “brought peace in place of violence” and referred to him as the “lord of justice”.
“For the lips of Zeus do not know how to lie, but bring to fulfilment every word."
Derek Morgan - Ares - God of War
Tumblr media
Ares, in Greek religion, god of war or, more properly, the spirit of battle. In the Greek myths, Ares was noted for his beauty and courage.
"Only a fool would challenge me in my own game."
David Rossi - Dionysus - God of wine and pleasure
Tumblr media
Dionysus, in Greco-Roman religion, a nature god of fruitfulness and vegetation, especially known as a god of wine and ecstasy. Dionysus was often called Eleutherios, meaning “the liberator,” because his wine, music, and ecstatic dance freed his followers from self-consciousness and the restraints of society.
"The more alive this life becomes, the nearer death draws, until the supreme moment...when death and life meet in an embrace of mad ecstasy."

New Fargo Season 5 character portraits, via the FX website. Official character descriptions under the cut.
Dorothy "Dot" Lyon: Depending on who you ask, "Dot," portrayed by Juno Temple, is a wife and mother, a member of the PTA, a fighter, survivor or a tiger. She’s tenacious to almost a delusional fault, never giving up no matter how impossible the circumstances. Ultimately, she’s a mama bear with a lion’s heart.
Roy Tillman: “Roy Tillman,” portrayed by Jon Hamm, is one of those constitutional sheriffs, a rancher preacher, defender of the American gospel. A man who works from sunup to sundown shepherding God’s land. In Roy’s own reality, he is the law and therefore is above the law; he’s the judge, jury and too often the executioner.
Lorraine Lyon: “Lorraine Lyon,” portrayed by Jennifer Jason Leigh, is CEO of the largest Debt Collection Agency in the country, with two billion dollars in annual revenue. Lorraine is poised, regal and opinionated. She’s also a huge donor to any candidate or cause that she believes in, regardless of political affiliation (read: anyone that can be helpful to her in the future).
Wayne Lyon: “Wayne Lyon,” portrayed by David Rysdahl, has the forced cheer of a man whose mother raised him with a thick brew of disappointment and guilt. Now he owns a car dealership and three quarters of a fishing boat. A sweet guy who doesn’t match up to society’s (or his mother’s) definition of masculinity, his ideal evening is playing sock hockey at home with his daughter, Scotty.
Gator Tillman: “Gator Tillman,” portrayed by Joe Keery, is a handsome charmer, the way the snake in the garden was a charmer. He’s a sapling struggling to grow in the shadow of an oak, desperate to prove himself to his larger-than-life father in the absence of a mother’s love. With daddy issues up there with Oedipus Rex’s, Gator wants to be a winner but unfortunately doesn’t know what the word means.
Witt Farr: “North Dakota Deputy Witt Farr,” portrayed by Lamorne Morris, is the guy when you look up the word “reliable” in the dictionary, you see his picture. He splits the check down to the cent, not because he’s cheap but because he’s fair. He’s dogged, earnest and Minnesota Nice.
Indira Olmstead: “Minnesota Police Deputy Indira Olmstead,” portrayed by Richa Moorjani, is a practical woman – socks before shoes – and good at puzzles, which may have led to her career in law enforcement. She struggles to manage her finances while supporting her husband Lars and his delusional dream of winning the Masters Golf Tournament.
Ole Munch: Age unknown, birthplace unknown. On any given day, “Ole Munch,” portrayed by Sam Spruell, looks as though he could be 30-60. Some say he has always been here, blowing through the American landscape – the dark shadow waiting for us at the end of the hall. He’s carved from stone, relentless as the sea, the forces of physics don’t apply to him.
Danish Graves: “Danish Graves,” portrayed by Dave Foley, is Lorraine Lyon’s in-house counsel and primary advisor. A country club type, who has never been in a real fight, but sees himself as a winner, when clearly Lorraine is the heavyweight champion and he just holds her spit bucket.

its so funny to see david just let trexel play out his terrible impractical bits ever since he started doing the brief by himself. he's simply extracting trexel for information for his one useful attribute which is, having-been-outside-the-room. letting him roleplay his little fantasies, accuse david of having an oedipus complex and sending him out by playing into his alcoholism. i love this master manipulator clone and i have a feeling its not going to end well for him

Hello motherfucker (joking, I know your no Oedipus fan) any ways I'm back and I want to bother you with how close in age the boys are.
So there is David and Callum
Then Miles is ten (10) months younger then the twins
Then Logan is six ( 6) months younger then Miles. Now this is because I headcanon Logan is a premi baby, about 2-3 months early and extremely lucky. He's also a stubborn little shite, I can tell you that.
And then Samuel is eleven months younger then Logan. Mamma needed a bit of a break after the catastrophe that was logans birth but Sammy (Also a little shite) was very impatient and came out four (4) weeks early.
I also want to bother with the fact that I headcanon mama to look like Bernadette from The Big Bange Theory
So yea
Have fun with this
-Three Brothers anon
HAH!
Who's older between the twins? I just know the one older by like three minutes be holding onto them minutes for dear fucking life sometimes. "I'm older so you have to listen to me!" "No you're not!" "Just ask mom dip-head! I came out first!" "By 180 seconds!!! Even Sammy can count that high!"
I agree Mrs. Walker would have curls and be blonde but our ideas diverge there because Bernie is tiny and I think Mrs. Walker would be chubbier. (Even before she had kids. Elias likes them thicc apparently. *Looks at "Mr. Brick Shit House" aka Rorke*)

It is frustrating that his voice actor has to come in to point out the traumas and vulnerability Barnabas feels.
It's frustrating to have been watching people laugh and joke about a supposed Oedipus complex that doesn't exist, or how Barnabas created Harbard to fuck him while thinking about his own dead mother.
Thanks, David.
