mimmo è molto confuso perché simone è gentile e carino nei suoi confronti ed è anche a conoscenza che è gay e che prova un certo affetto per lui, il che lo porta a dubitare della sua sessualità e a sperimentare con simone. alla fine però mimmo capirà di essere in realtà etero, cosa che spezzarà un po' il cuore a simone.

mimmo realizza che gli piace simone e lo bacia (come visto nella promo), facendo così però realizzare a simone di essere ancora innamorato di manuel. mimmo ci rimarrà maluccio e la nave mimmone affonderà definitivamente.

Idk how he made it all the way out there, but he did, and Steve let me keep him. He's about 7 or 8 years of age, I'd say. He's very sweet and willing. I named him Indigo

I've wanted to make a post about all the references I put in the Metaxenia comic, since most of them aren't things the average non-Greek would know, so buckle up 'cause I'm doing it now 🧳.

(The comic can be found here in english and here in greek)

First of all, Metaxenia is pretty much what we call all worms-a-string here. My inspo for the comic was this ad, pretty much every Greek person is able to quote it verbatim so I'd go so far as to call it a modern cultural moment lol. The phrase "Metaxenia come out" ("Μεταξένια βγες έξω") is what the entire comic revolves around.

In newer iterations of the commercial (like the above one), Metaxenia has a son called Metaxoulis. That was the only one I straight up changed for the english version, I used the literal translation of the name and ended up with "Silky". Menios' name came because I was like: Metaxenios (Metaxenia masculine version)-> Me-taxe-nios-> Me-nios. Harry just sounds like the word Χέρι (Hand)(it also looks like the word "hand" so that worked out really well lol).

"Fino Bar" is a reference to "Finos Film", a film production company responsible for a lot of iconic movies from 1943 to 1977.

"Melina Theatre", named after the real life "Melina Merkouri Theatre"

I really wanted the comic to feel like a classic black-and-white greek movie, I just thought it would be fun. Hence, I placed it somewhere in post-WW2 Athens and referenced architectural styles and tropes you could spot in those movies. Like the down-on-their-luck main character falling in love with a charming woman (sometimes a musician) way above their league (only the mc is a woman instead of Veggos).

In this scene Sol is singing a part from Erotokritos (I don't know if the whole story is available in english but here's the translated song)(it's not the translation used for the comic though)

Lastly, about the character designs, I limited myself to things that can be found in the actual commercial to base the characters around. Hence, everyone is either a worm, bird puppet, Literally Just A Hand and a bracelet. It's really interesting trying to figure out how to make fuzzy worms look distinct with each other.

Genuinely I had a blast making this comic and I thank everyone who enjoyed it/ was there to listen to my rambles as I worked on it. Peace out ✌

una cosa que me gusta hacer, es una luz escénica pero al revés. usar luces y luego que la sombra entre ellas sea su propio foco. Lo hice con Freddy en el escenario para el día de Coraje y con Golden en el día de Lluvia.

Sirven para ellos como recordatorios para mí mismo, Freddy teme que se enfoquen en el, y siente que solo puede hacer su mejor trabajo completamente apartado, pero sigue queriendo estar en el escenario, estar con gente, y es algo que tendrá que superar si lo quiere tanto. yyy nada que ver pero sé que coraje significa valor y enojo, y ustedes no tienen ninguna forma de saberlo pero coraje en el sentido de enojo también siento que está representado con Freddy, aquí.

encuentra el valor para poder hacer cosas en el rencor. No sé si tiene sentido eso lmao, pero desde cuando tiene sentido ese chamaco ñ eeeuuuu eeujju

la luz escénica para Golden sirve como representación de el foco que siempre tiene encima de elle, siempre tiene expectativas, trabajo, gente mirando le. Cada acción que hace está vigilado, corregido, ect. y Chica saca Golden del foco que le aislaba, ayudándole a ver lo qué verdaderamente quiere y la vida que puede tener si logra bajar de su punto aislado. idk uhhh

la de clases sólo es por un headcanon qué tengo de Los Toys. Esa siendo que me gusta la idea que Los Toys estudian bandas. Bandas populares que los inspiran, bandas locales las que pueden ver en vivo para aprender de.

Cosas como técnicas musicales pero también para ver la recepción del público para saber que es lo que le gusta a la gente, para luego poder agregarlo música. No cambian lo que quieren hacer sólo para poder alcanzar más gente pero si toman inspiraciones y todo eso.

la de Fred solo es angst, ngl, ustedes ya le saben a sus problemas con no poder ser visto por nadie. Pero si me gusta que se usa Freddy en las fotos. No es fotogénico. Sorry man ur brother took all the photogenic genes lmao

también quiero que sepan qué corrector que use para el día de lluiva no me estaba sirviendo para nada. Tengo una pluma con tinta blanca que se pone sirve para detallitos o tal vez para corregir las cosas también y la quería usar para corregir errores pero no salía el tinte no salía para nada. Así que tuve que abrir la pluma y meterle un palo fino para sacar la tinta y luego puse el palo con la tinta como estampilla para la lluvia lol

hey anonie 🎀 i rly love to use japanese and indian hair care. i oil my hair weekly with amla oil. i also make hair masks from scratch. the basic formula is just (conditioner + olive oil + an avocado) but there are lots of hair mask recipes depending on ur specific needs. also the fino hair mask is amazing. i wash my hair with ogx shampoo and conditioner.

as for skincare i rly love the beauty of josen brand. im using a toner atm, the hello kitty x créme collections pure cure strawberry milk toner and it actually feels so good on my skin. 😭 i also recommend

Not much to point out about Fai Schifo, Baby, except that Husk says "Baby, I like you this way" and Angel Dust calls him "love" :) a bit more seriously, "fare schifo" sounds much harsher to me than "you suck", which would be the closer translation - it more literally means "to be disgusting". I really hope the Italian fandom is not as discourse-happy as the English one :^)

(also "passivello da bordello" cracks me up just as much as "power bottom at rock bottom" dhsjfhsdk it literally means "a little bottom from a brothel" but it sounds good 😭)

And personally I love the effect of his voice - it's different from the og dub, and it reminds me of the earliest Disney movies Italian dubs, it's nostalgic <3

I just like a lot more how this comes across :) it's more accusatory and also it straight up says that a demon can not only improve, but love.

Another miscellaneous lines that I prefer are "Ora la bimba lo sa!" ("Now the girlie knows!") over "Now the cat's out of the bag", because Lute is an asshole; "È questo quello che mi disgusta!" ("This is what disgusts me!") over "That's what the fuck I've been saying!" because it's a more elegant emphasis; and "Come mai nascondi che tu hai le ali come noi?" ("Why do you hide that you have wings just like us?") because it's more evocative and even more cruel since Vaggie actually got her wings ripped out.

First of all, Nanni Baldini is slaying just as much as Riccardo Suez in the emotional department bro what is that voice. But most importantly, "From the contract that distorts my will". This is much more poignant than the English version, and it paints Alastor as not only a puppet, but really as if part of him is acting against his own will. man.
