You loved your beautiful boyfriend Minho. He was an angel sent from above, truly. Or... maybe below? The box and what existed out of the Glade was confusing, sadly. God, you wished you could remember anything outside of here.

Sadly, you hadn't seen him very much recently.

He'd been busy with his duties in the maze and the Map Room, and you've been busy working in the gardens damn near all day every day. Your rations were running low, the crops were growing slower than ever, and you couldn't figure out why. It's not like there were deer or raccoons feasting on them either. It was just you Gladers here, nothing else. You'd been stressing out over it and needed some time away from it for a while.

Thankfully, the beloved tree house existed, and rarely anyone used it.

You'd stolen a basket of fruit from Fry's kitchen, awaiting the arrival of Minho. Hopefully, Newt stuck to his word, or remembered to, to send Minho to the tree house to spend some time with you.

Thankfully, the beautiful Korean boy showed up, dressed casual and out of the heavy gear he had to wear in the maze. He greeted you with a tired yet warm smile, sitting down with you on the wooden floor.

"Hey, how's your day?" He asks, sitting next to you, shoulder to shoulder.

You hand him a little basket of strawberries. "Fine, I guess." You shrug, "Need a minute away from the gardens"

He nods, "I need a minute away from the shuckin' maze"

You dangle your feet off the side of the platform, soaking up each other's presence.

He pulls you into his lap, between his legs. He rests his chin on your shoulder while his arms rest around your waist. You feel your stomach swarm with butterflies, resting your hands over his.

"I love you" He whispers, placing a kiss on your temple.

"Love you too, dork," you reply with a smile, leaning your head back to rest yourself against him.

"What a romantic" He giggles, pulling you a little closer.

The night continues on in peace, smiles, giggles and kisses shared, hands intertwined. You share your body heat, cuddled up and comfy.

"No, no, no, he said something like he was gonna beat him back into the box! How does that even work? Gally acts like Thomas is some universal threat or something" You laugh as you speak.

"I have no idea, darling." He smiles and chuckles, listening to you ramble on and on about stories he'd missed during the day.

You look up at him and place a kiss on his jawline, a stupid smile on his face.

"Love you"

Apologies if this is too vague of a question, but would you say there's some "in-between" with regular YouTube videos and content farms? Like, are there channels where there's a gray space where you can't exactly call it a "content farm" but it's definitely caught up in some bizarre "Why would a person think to make this"/odd algorithm rabbit hole vibes? Your one post about that weird channel that posts a lot of content farm-y animations but doesn't post that frequently made me wonder if you run into more channels like that.

I watch some Minecraft YouTube (not like Dream/MCYT, just various Minecraft videos) and I think you could label a lot of the things put out as teetering on the edge of content farms with obviously faked/bizarre videos and trend-hopping. Like the videos where they make "crazy escape rooms/impenetrable bases" and challenge their friends/followers to escape from them, but said rooms' "unescapability" fall apart in logic under any close inspection and are purely made to look pretty on thumbnails and bait attention and clicks.

Maybe those old YouTube prank channels or "drinking the Pennywise potion at 3AM" channels would also be a sort of "in-between" (or maybe they just Are straight up content farms lol).

oh my god, ok so first of all. there are ABSOLUTELY channels i watch that are clickbait and algorithm bait and trend hopping, but don't ALWAYS post in huge quantities to warrant calling it a content farm

however. the specific type of channel in mind will be an intensely long, elaborate rant of pure special interest power. and i need to ask if everyone is ready to hear the most deranged obscure hyperfixation i've ever had

The whole world was golden - well, as far as Pearl could see. Fields and fields, all trapped under the same spell.

The sunlight soaked into her skin, filling her up with warmth and making a wide smile stretch across her freckled face. Content glowed inside her, a burning white light of purity and happiness and all that's good in the world. She pressed her fingers into the soft dirt beneath her, and felt how they connected her to the Earth like a tree’s roots. She inhaled deeply.

Summer was on the breeze; Pearl could taste it. Could taste the laughter, the joy, the fond memories of moments that hadn't even happened yet.

She waited a moment, and then let her breath go. She released the joy back into the world, leaving a smile in its wake

“Pearl?”

Pearl didn't need to look up, nor even open her eyes. The voice, scratchy like a rough sea, but at the same time, smoother than the deepest midnight, was one that she knew and loved.

“You can't ignore me, Pearl.”

“Who said I was ignoring you?”

“Well, I said your name and you didn't reply. Pretty sure that's ignoring.” Gem stated matter-of-factly, sitting down next to her girlfriend.

“Nah. It's just not-replying.”

“Whatever.” She playfully rolled her eyes and rested her head on Pearl’s shoulder. They sat for a moment in silence, in the wake of the beautiful golden honey that was sunlight. A bumblebee hummed lazily, and two birds sang of their love to one another.

“It's gorgeous, isn't it?”

Gem smiled fondly. “Oh my god, you are literally a sunflower.”

The brunette gasped dramatically. “THANK YOU!” (This was just about the most amazing compliment in the world).

Gem giggled as Pearl pulled her onto her lap. “You're right, though. It is gorgeous.”

Pearl nodded profoundly. “Though, obviously, not as gorgeous as you.”

The ginger buried her face Pearl's neck to hide the fact that she had turned bright red. “Shut up ♡”

Do you want to know a secret? I have not been fact checking to make sure that each blog that you all send me is in fact a trafficblr blogger.

I’m fine with people submitting hermitblr or empiresblr bloggers, too, since those are fairly closely related to trafficblr. There is currently a small collection of asks sent by one anon who all mention the recipients’ Xisuma designs—I’m not picky enough to delete hermitblr or empiresblr asks. Any current or former trafficblr or trafficblr-adjacent blogger is perfectly fine with me.

If you submit bloggers from any other mcyt sphere—DSMP, QSMP, singleplayer servers, speedrunners, Lifesteal, whatever else—I am not likely to notice unless you specifically mention it in the ask or mistype their URL and I have to look for them. If I do notice, I am not likely to call you on it, since sending other MCYT bloggers is a harmless “mistake” in the grand scheme of things. (I will, however, draw the line if you all start sending me bloggers from entirely different non-MCYT fandoms and I notice this. See if your other fandoms have these blogs and submit to them! Or send them an ask directly!)

If I am honest, the main reason I did not open this blog up to MCYT in general (besides the fact that I am only one person running this) is specifically because I do not really look closely at the accounts of people I have not heard of (except in the case of typos in URLs to try and find the right person). I used to be into DSMP before I was into the Traffic Life Series, and I am fairly aware of the state of many of the CCs right now being outed for abuse. I was somewhat worried about accidentally posting positivity for extant wilbur soot bloggers or something, which I did not want to do. Additionally, the amount of arguing and being mean to each other in DSMP fandom when I joined had me a little worried I would post a nice message about one blogger and receive a follow-up ask by someone who did not think that person should be posted because they disagreed with their opinions. I did not fancy the idea of accidentally becoming a discourse blogger.

These concerns were probably a little silly, but they did leave me to keeping my scope narrower. That said, if anyone would like to make their own blogs which are for other parts of mcyt fandom which are not trafficblr or trafficblr adjacent, such as QSMP or DSMP, I would be happy to post the URL here.

I just came here to say that I love your fanfics, the way you write your characters and their development!

The first of your fics that I read was the on-going QSMP fic "Ready, Set, Detonate" is really good and the way you present the different relationships between characters (Friendship/whatever the morning crew has) is fantastic. I love the post-apocaliptic setting and all the concepts involved. The playlist is cool and I want to see where this time-bomb will go!

After that, I read some of them (Clinic, stars, world forgot, glass, the QSMP one-shots, even the old Pacific Rim AU XD)

And from the finished ones, definitely "Through a glass divine" is the one I loved the most! I was fascinated by the characters and their development; reading non-stop and looking for more! (One of my reasons for my exitement for the re-write, I will pay for read this version)

The end I liked the most was "The World Forgetting by the World forgot", because I feel it the most apropiate way to end that story! I """understand""" why some people didn't like-it, but I feel that this ending was the best way to close the plot

Postscript: Few days ago I read the book "Yumi and the Nightmatre Painter" by Brandon Sanderson and so many parts of the story remembered me to Glass. Is a really good book, that is like if Your Name and Through a glass divine fussioned to create a story! I highly recomend-it.

hm... taizi, i think! i started reading their writing right around the same time i started high school and i went, "wait. you can just do this?" i'd read fanfic before this but taizi's work was what made it click for me that fanfic is, like, A Type Of Writing, and you can do it really well, and put it in places where people will see it and enjoy it. so i did the thing. wrote lego ninjago fanfic in microsoft word on the days school started late and i had nothing to do in the hour before the bus arrived.

oh gosh, that's difficult. i think, and maybe this is too vague, maybe the ones that get into the crunch of the thing. i am always on my all fic is meta train, so i think comments that seem to Get That, and expand on or pull into the open my thinking are my favourites? also a big fan of when someone says something i didn't think about while writing, but is nevertheless There In The Fic! new insights! that's very cool to me.

oh god oh fuck. i'm gonna take 'dream' here as meaning i cannot personally Make It Happen because a lot of the things i could say i dream about seeing in a fic are also things i could just put in a fic and tada, there, not a dream anymore. so it's gotta be some kind of stupid plot-heavy ensemble cast AU because that's just not the kind of thing i know how to write well enough to be satisfied with if i did it. i know if you asked me this again, like, tomorrow i would probably have a different answer, but right now i am sighing longingly about some kind of empires smp modern au. catrina belovedgamers and i were talking in dms the other day about a circus au in which some of the strays, stowaways, and outcasts of the world discover, with great joy, that they never have to go home again if they don't want to, and the idea of scott and shrub and joey (these three specifically, yes) getting happy endings amid the shenanigans of Circus makes me really tender. but it also has to be sad and difficult. it has to Deal with the corruption and xornoth and the fact that none of this is easy, and scott still has to try to kill himself and joey still has to get tangled up in xornoth and be just as prickly as he always is and shrub still has to lose everyone. and that's Just the three newest runaways this circus has picked up, all of wra is still here too, and so are pix and lizzie and joel and jimmy, so. do you see why this would be really fucking hard to write,

who would write it best? for it to be warming and gentle all the way through like a cup of tea at just the right temperature, probably taizi. but for it to pluck out the sad and difficult bits exactly right, probably alouette_des_champs, who consistently does The Best modern aus for pretty much every fandom they've written for. they are not in mcyt fandom at all, but they did this with drawga (comedy art actual-play web series), and atla, and naddpod (actual-play d&d podcast, also mostly comedy), and if there's anyone who could do this right i bet it's them.

i think canary jimmy is deeply boring and gets focused in on to the exclusion of almost all the Interesting Things Literally Happening On The Screen? i have total faith that it can be a fun/useful/interesting framework with which to consider [jimmy in the life series] but mostly i think.... jimmy's got a personality in there. it feels weird that he seems so popular but so few people have Things To Say About Him outside of what he represents to other life series members.

i dunno, that feels like a really easy take to have, just disagreeing with The Most Popular fanon. and maybe i haven't Reviewed The Literature enough. but that seems like it meets the requirements. so!

I've never written fanfic before, only OC writings, which you know abt ofc, and the fact that this is my FIRST ONE EVER and you made an animatic for it BEFORE CHAPTER 2 EVEN DROPPED?? Insane. I can't wrap my head around it. The fact that I was one chapter in and you and @bunchofdoodlesinspace already made fanart for the fic??? I shit you not, hugely responsible for me plotting out over 10 fucking chapters of this fic. I didn't expect to make this a long fic but here we are and I am OBSESSED with every part of it.

And ofc I'm gonna be the most vocal supporter of your art, I've watched you fucking BLOOM and then some over the what, 6 fucking years?? We've been friends. You're on a level I wanted to be at by now for as long as I can remember, so everything you make to me is breathtaking and I love how experimental you are with what you do because my dumb ass is SOOO annoyingly particular and precious about my art and it's a nightmare to put up with. I love seeing you pop off in ways I personally haven't (yet?), it genuinely inspires me to take a shot at it some day when I have the means.

Just finished watching 3rd Life!!!! I was a bit busy so I couldn't do it as quickly as I wanted to but I made it.

I watched Grian's pov as you suggested and holy fuck was that a ride. I have Thoughts.

Grian and Scar. Scar and Grian. Those two shared a braincell and Grian had it for most of the series.

Grian I think had the most kills out of anyone by the end of it??? Guy really thought he could use Scar as an excuse to satiate his bloodlust without losing any lives. He was 100% correct.

Scar had a lot of kills too, didn't he? Especially in the Dogwarts war. Even if he is the goofy boss to Grian's competent right-hand man, it was nice to see him get down to business as well.

I'm focusing a lot on Scar and Grian here, but I would also like to give a shoutout to Jimmy for being the first person out. From what I hear it's pretty on-brand for him and it makes me think Scott was his Grian. For a second I thought it was Cleo tho.

The Battle of the Red Desert was painful to watch lmfao.... Scar pulled the lever, Grian. Wrong time tho.

Can't be good at building without being good at demolition. Grian really likes TNT, doesn't he. Just pray he never improves at redstone, I think it's best his traps stay broken.

I learned from a comment section that Impulse was killed for a clock that belonged to him in the first place. Rough going, buddy.

Scar's second death had me wheezing.... that's how you know he had some sort of plot armor on, no matter what Grian might say, cuz no way in hell did that guy become the first red name and stay alive for 2nd place.

That was the most Canadian fistfight I ever did see. Scar's muscles did not help.

Grian I see is associated with a bird sometimes? I don't know the reason for that but I find it interesting considering he killed himself by jumping off a cliff.

All in all....... yeah I really liked it!!! I have only watched Grian's pov tho, so if you recommend checking out any other POVs, I could do so. Not sure if I'll be able to watch any of the other Life seasons soon, as I might start dipping into, y'know, Hermitcraft/Empires (thanks to you, really!), but we'll see.

grian is usually depicted as a parrot hybrid. i'm not sure why, i think it started as a hermitcraft fandom thing that bled into his other stuff. people often fannonized as birds falling to death is one of my favorite things. i can't get enough of it.

if you want to watch more povs, i would recommend martyn or scott. martyn's is good if you want to understand the dogwarts side of things, and scott's is just one of my favorites.

i haven't watched any hermitcraft myself, but i plan to one of these days. empires is one of my favorite smps, and really what got me back into mcyt. if you ever do get around to watching the other life series, i think you'd enjoy them!
